I love this book so much

I'm wondering if Sideways will somehow appear later in Morrison's Green Lantern possibly leading off into a second series.

Morrison is so awesome.

This is more trippy than Psychedelic Earth.

>no Kyle
its a shitty Green Lantern book

Eh, Morrison wrote him for JLA, can see why he’d want to focus on Hal.

Yeah I think I can do without Kyle "Donde esta la Biblioteca" Ryaner.

Does Kyle still have the Life Equation, which is the Source’s operating instructions for the multiverse? Shouldn't he be completely broken and involved in the dumb Perpetua bullshit?

Probably not. I think he lost that in Omega Men

God I hate bitchpetua.

>Does Kyle still have the Life Equation
No, they did away with all that nonsense

I think the Kyle Rayner of Earth-16 might be one of the 12 Green Lanterns who's supposed to appear in this issue.

So secret wraps

Morrison thought of it first. Just like how Fortean recently steal Abomination’s body is a rip-off of when Eiling stole Shaggyman’s body in his JLA (even the fucking creepy hand-face design is copied from Zenith).

Fucking hope so, since he written the annual. Sideways has so much potential to just be thrown on the sidewalk like that.
I heard Lobdell is trying to put him on his Outlaws team.

Hey it’s the blue meanie!

>mysterious Qwa-Man
He’s the same Antimatter Hal that got captured in the first issue!

Sheesh, Controller Mu really put him through the ringer.

I wonder if his robot left side has all that tech Mu acquired in the previous issues, like that luck machine from the casino planet, Kanjar Ro's gamma gong, Adam Strange's zeta beam device, etc.

Why can’t Quitely do all the variant covers like he did in the first issue in this run? These are just so boring compared to his art.

I know the guy is slow but he can’t be that slow, right?

>The Shark
>A mutated tiger shark that is also a psychic, can telepathically transmute matter and shoot fear inducing energy blast
Wtf why is this guy so op? And why isn’t he used more often?

I remember in previous issues he still lack Hal’s ring to complete himself. With all that jazz with Mu talking about the absolute so my best guess that Qwa-Man is just an incomplete miracle machine.

Everyone gets him confused with King Shark because of their similar appearances and names. Even DC mixes the two of them up all the time.

>(even the fucking creepy hand-face design is copied from Zenith)
Can't attest to your first statement but this design is quite clearly inspired in Alien (facehugger).

not to be confused with either villain named Tiger Shark

Or Great White Shark from the Arkham Asylum mini-series.

Yeah, the fact that his name is just so generic just adds to how forgettable he is.
The guy could use a revamp by just turning him into a cosmic threat trying to hunt the most challenging prey in the universe. This is also the biggest problem with any GL’s rogues galleries: the cosmic villains and the Earth-based ones are totally separate and never once cross into eachother territory. Even Black Hand, the servant of Newton himself never left Earth.
King took that away in Omega Men - one of his only good decisions.

I don't know if turning them into cosmic characters is the best solution, but I do miss those old Coast City villains. Maybe Season 2 of Morrison's Green Lantern run will feature some of them.

He is saying "All! All you dead men" in reverse.

>Masked Hand
How does that even work?

>Each alternate version of Green Lantern has their own unique power set
Huh, I didn’t know that

I’m not gonna lie, Sharp’s art fits Morrison’s writing really well. Which is surprising for a house-style artist.

He’ll appear in RHaTO.

I always liked Shaggy Lantern since i first saw him in Animal Man. It's great to see him in action. Great page too

Shark Force Four when?

Is this better than Supes and Batman series?

It wouldn’t really fit since only The Shark and King Shark have any real superpowers, the other two are just shark-themed humans. That and The Shark’s powers eclipse the rest so much that it’s ridiculous.

You mean Morrison’s Supes and Batman? It’s really good, but since we’re only on issue 10 it’s too early to tell.
Why can’t we have a mini set in this Earth? Or better yet, a continuation of Prez in this Earth?

like said
Morrison already had his fill with Kyle back in the day, I actually would like to see his take in the other earth lanterns, so far I love his take of Hal, and I'm really curious how would he write Guy Gardner.

He was considered "house-style"? Given the stuff I've seen in this run so far, I would dispute the claim... But then again this is my first time seeing his art, so maybe he's more "standard" everywhere else.

Every Green Lantern in the multiverse vs. the collective might of Apokalips.
