Jabberjaw is a stupid fucking name and all of his companions look generic as fuck whereas Scooby's gang all have unique, appealing designs.

I remember being genuinely mad as a kid when I learned Jabberjaw was shitty 60's pop and not the 90's pop punk like in the short.

Jabberjaw literally only exists because it was an attempt to cash in on the Scooby craze. Hanna Barbera is the only company I can think of that has ever chose n to make shitty bootleg versions of its own fucking IPs.

That's because they kept getting paid to make them. Channels wanted their own Scooby Doos and Flintstones and Jetsons.

Scoody Doo had better designs, and was tighter with what it wanted to be. Jabberjaw was like about a band stopping underwater crime it was weird.
