Yeah anime Isekai is more likely to be fuck reality than I wanna go home nowadays.
Most of the time those shitty stories don't even give a reason why they want to go home. It's way more impactful when the person has a family or something. I wish more of the stories make the new world worst than their old one instead of being power fantasy fap bait taking place in another generic magical world.
I think he means more like "Main character ends up in a fantasy land where he has super-magical powers and a sweet talking cyborg dog best friend" and then the MC wants to fucking go home because he misses his video games.
