You may not like it, but this is EASILY the best DC villain we've had in decades. Try and name like 5 actually good villains created in that span of time, you can't. It's literally impossible. I am glad that an epic cosmic horror villain like this is getting the push he deserves. God damn, I can't wait for more.
You may not like it, but this is EASILY the best DC villain we've had in decades...
I never understood why anons larp as faggots for cheap attention
That’s not Barbatos
Why is Judge Death in DC?
Personally I enjoyed Lee Price as a villain a lot more than I did evil Batman. But really the best new villain that we’ve gotten from the last few years would be Itsy Bitsy from Joe Kelly’s SM/DP
>genuinely believe she’s doing good by viciously murdering petty criminals
>enjoys and flaunts her sexuality
>difficult to stop, even harder to kill
>has a very unique look
>can be an actual threat to the heroes she encounters
And she’s a combination of two characters without all the hacky writing of “Dark Multiverses and Evil Batman”
Let’s see who’s been pretty cool from DC since the New 52
>Talon and the Court of Owls
>Ulysses
>Volthoom
>Godspeed
>Grail
>Batman who Laughs
As much as baby Barbatos was cute in JL, I would love for big titty femBarbatos to be the default look.
His entire portrayal in the latest comics run involving him has been pretty damn good. Especially when we see him from Bruce's infected viewpoint later on, where he jsut goes full eldritch.
terrible anatomy there's no room for the rest of his face under there
No this is the real OG Barbatos.
Get off Yea Forums, Scott Snyder.
>He gets fucking harpooned and tomb-smacked to hell and back
>Doesn't get killed, instead just put into stasis
>Batman is basically infected and permanently DAMAGED
Is Batman possibly the shittiest fucking superhero ever?
Tempus Fuginaut was only featured in a few issues in Sideways and he was more interesting than Batman who lmaos
>this is EASILY the best DC villain we've had in decades
Damn, really?
I made a good call dropping DC and Marvel back in 2006.
>cosmic horror
Barely
Not a villain.
Remember the Dredd/DC crossovers?
>Grail
Come on.
I feel that people mostly hate him because they harbor anger toward Batman being popular and that usual power-level bullshit about not liking the idea of a human character being more competent than some over-powered alien or deity.
Most people dislike him because his entire gimmick is "the Joker but Batman, also superpowered." At his core, he's just another anti-Batman, and we've already a half-dozen of those.
It really shouldn't be a surprise that mixing one of the most popular heroes of all time with one of the most popular villains of all time and making them into a multiversal threat mastermind wasn't going to rake in money. I know the miniseries was going to sell well but not as well as it did.
I like Judge BatDeath. He’s fun and I think it’s kinda funny that he’s a meta “Batman always win” taken to the extreme. Plus he looks cool
This board is infested with Rebirthbabbies, user. It's not worth it.
I first read Scott Snyder’s work like 10 years ago so I should no better but the material he puts out now has me absolutely convinced he is a 12 year old. I know that math doesn’t add up but I can’t look at the Batman who lols and accept anyone who is 13 or older created him.
*know
Laughs at you in existential horror
I mean you don’t know that Snyder didn’t create him when he was 13
Wolfman created a version of The Monitor around that age
Don't forget H'el, the most based New 52 villain.
Everytime Snyder gets an idea he blows his load on it and then runs it into the ground. That’s all he’s done since he started his New 52 run.
My point being if he thought of BMWL when he was 13 he wouldn’t have sat on it for so long.
Honestly what makes me angrier is that for becoming a Joker Bruce just had to sniff some Joker's drug inside the real Joker and nothing else. If it was some cool shit like Bruce having a "bad day" after his parents death in a "the killing joke" similiar way I could have supported this Dark Knight, instead he is just a generic Bruce that got poisoned by Joker, no joker's philosophy or way of thinking, just a generic poison ex machina.
And what I hate more is that the only thing that could defeat this evil Batman is Bruce teaming up with Joker....Sounds familiar Bruce teaming up with Joker for defeating an evil Batman?.......................Yes!
IT'S THE PLOT OF "GAME OVER OWLMAN!" FROM BATMAN THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD CARTOON!
>Superman and Ultraman
>Good Guy Thought Robot
>Batman and Joker
>Edgy Evil Man
Why?
I mean the correct combination is
>Superman and Lex
Which just gives you Conner
>Morrison
Cringe
Define Decades? Deathstroke was from the 80's and so was Trigon
