The plot will be inane, formulaic, milquetoast, and forgettable. People will only watch it for their rock waifus and the new Jenny wannabe. And the songs will suck and it will get trounced in the ratings by Loud House again.

For a very short moment upon seeing the thumbnail, I almost thought this was a new My Life as a Teenage Robot.
Imagine my disappointment when it was even more of fucking Steven Universe.

The new Gem is Steven's "sister" from an early experiment by Pink to fuse Gems and organic life, making her like a plastic crafting ornament of a Gem. She needs the organic matter on Earth to create more Gems like herself, hence the conflict.

Well if I had to guess then I would have to say that is a failed Diamond. Created, found to be flawed and dumped but survived. Rose was the replacement pink diamond. Failed diamond is going to try to kill Steven and gem up the the earth in an effort to win mommy diamonds love.
