How would you fix MCU Spider-Man?

How would you fix MCU Spider-Man?

My long term crazy ass idea:
>In Wanda and Vision, Wanda messes up the multiverse and timelines by making her own pocket dimension where Vision still lives and they have a family
>Cosmic big bad shows up and is after them in the season finale
>In Multiverse of Madness Dr.Strange sense's something going on in the timelines and multiverse and goes searching through all of the ones that have been affected
>Eventually has to go the past of his universe and find out why Vision disappeared and while he's leaving a young peter Parker ends up accidentally swinging into his portal why he's exiting into a different universe
>Doctor strange decides to keep him along for the ride because he can use him as GPS locater back to their original universe when it's time to head back
>They eventually find Wanda and Her and Strange duke it out because he wants her to return Vision back to where he came from so the Multiverse can go back to normal
>Strange beats her and Wanda is about to go Comic book crazy until Peter talks to her about Uncle Ben and how he felt like he failed him but instead of going down a dark road he instead decided to continue being the good person Uncle Ben knew he was.(Basically tells Wanda that she should be the good person Vision thought she was so his memory wasn't in vain)
>Then cosmic big bad shows up and they fight then Win
>They drop Peter back off in the place he was supposed to be and erase his memory of what happened.

>Make him a college student or a grown ass man.
>His motivation can't be other heroes
>His supporting cast matters
>Keep him in New York
>No Stark relation at all
>Stop fucking doing important reveals in the post credits scene

OP here nevermind I can't finish I'm just too fucking sick right now

>skip the tired origin story
>make his growth into being independent the entire point of homecoming
>Yea Forums is still seething about muh Uncle Ben and muh Stark connection

Attached: 1457309376346.gif (245x273, 473K)

>>skip the tired origin story
They just made the movies his origin story.
>>make his growth into being independent the entire point of homecoming
And then ignored that in IW and made FFH about him being the next Iron Man, even if he didn't want to. That fucked up an integral part of Peter's character.
>>Yea Forums is still seething about muh Uncle Ben and muh Stark connection
Yeah, removing the reason why Spider-Man exists and relegating him to references while replacing him with Stark wasn't a good idea.

i dunno, i like mcu spidey, he is just some kid surviving in a world that one day exploded right in front of his face and now that stark is dead i wanna see him finally growing, but of couse i don't want him to be the new ironman, they just have to find the way to make wathever spidey tech he makes feel unique and not just something that looks like an ironman suit with a spiderman skin

i was kind of expecting him to not be able to regain control over the glasses after the movie but wathever

Hell I like that we got Peter making his own webshooter fixes to beat the baddie in round 2. There's nothing to fix for the story they are telling other than unmasking him too soon.

Age him up 5 years, recast him, and basically ignore all of his prior appearances

He's the next Iron man metaphorically, not literally. FFH was them saying they want Spider-Man to be the main character of the MCU going forward.

I know that but Spider-Man should not be "the next "X", unless we're talking about a legacy Spider-person like Mayday or Miles.

>They just made the movies his origin story.
Factually wrong, since he's already superheroing at the moment of introduction.

Not really, before he was introduced in CW nothing was known about him or his character and he didn't get too much character growth until HC. Then he went from an over-eager fanboy trying to get into the Avengers to a more down to earth person and in FFH he loses his mentor figure and has to fill the void that's left because no one else will or wants to.
All of this is build up so he can become the "real" Spider-Man that he's supposed to be.

All that is character development, not an origin story. He became super before his introduction, and was already saving people and fighting crime before his introduction.

>>Stop fucking doing important reveals in the post credits scene

Attached: 1564044664124.jpg (400x364, 40K)

Actually, when was the last time a post-credits scene was an important reveal, and not a gag?

This idea is crazy ass. And not really good.

i just want aunt may to be more than just eye candy, and i never thought i'd say that.
this is just going to come across as fanfic, but they could have done something great and emotional with her in infinity war and endgame. we're left with aunt may knowing that peter is spider-man at the end of homecoming but that is never allowed to go anywhere interesting.
i'd like it if, instead of being on the school bus, peter had to bargain with aunt may about going to help and he could throw the "with great power comes great responsibility" line that we've all been waiting for holy fuck. and if she wasn't snapped it could make sense that she has a charity foundation.

i know how cheesy this sounds, but TL;DR i just want spider-man to have strong supporting characters and i can't see that happening for MCU spidey especially after FFH

I’d rather she be Peter’s love interest

It's both.

May and the entire world finding out Peter's identity were important reveals, one was played as a joke and the other one I'm not to sure about.

>and he could throw the "with great power comes great responsibility" line that we've all been waiting for holy fuck
Hey, he sorta mumbled it in a previous movie.
That totally counts, right?

>It's both.
No it's not, getting bit by the spider, losing Uncle Ben and getting motivated to fight crime is the origin story. The rest is development.

Holland isn't the original Peter Parker in his universe. No mention of Uncle Ben, Stark seems obsessed with him, and JJ Jamieson (who already hates spidey for some reason) is literally the same actor from the Raimi movies but BALD . Also note that none of the Raimi villains have been reused. MCU isn't in another dimension from Raimiverse, it's the same. It's just that a lot of time has passed. At some point Tobey calls it quits and starts a normal life. Maybe Raimi Spider-Man uses One More Day to erase everyone's memory of the original Spider-Man. Meanwhile Holland is a clone created by Osborn that Stark rediscovers. Raimi spiderman 1 was in 2002. Guess when Holland spidey was canonically born? 2001. Not far off. And Tobey also could have been cloned before he got his powers (pre-2001) simply because Norman wanted to preserve what he thought to be the DNA of a savant. Also the school is owned by the Jackal.

Also note that Holland, who is a bit of a loose lips kind of guy, wants a movie where all the Spidermen meet up. Well, that's impossible for Garfield since Sony hates him. So expect a Tobey/Holland team up flick.

Anyways now that we've decoded this mystery, who's ready for a 5-movie adaptation of the Clone Saga? Maybe Holland is Ben Reilly.

>How would you fix MCU Spider-Man?
Fix what? He's fine.

>B-BUT NOT LIKE MUH COMIX :(

I hope you weren't one of those that hated Logan and other good cbm only because "it's not like muh comics" but you love MCU Spider-Man only because "muh shared universe"

Useless thread, they will never fix him... most normies loved MCU Spider-Man.

2/3
>Right after FFH Pete goes to shield to ask them for help and what to do now that his identity is out.Skrull Nick tells him to fuck off and not worry about it.
>JJJ sends scorpion to go kill spiderman because fuck it the MCU made him a crazy Alex Jones stereotype that wants to beat Joe Rogans podcast
>Pete goes and hangs out with Ned and MJ because he's lost doesn't know what to do
>Scorpion busts in and cripples Ned and knock MJ out
>Scorpion fucks peter because he's too fast, crazy and tough
>Pete barely escapes with his life. And finally realizes that his life isn't a game anymore and it's time get serious because dangerous people are after him and the people he loves.
>Scorpion and Pete play and mouse around the city while Pete is trying to keep aunt may safe
>He barely beats scorpion
>He visits Ned at the hospital and Ned hates him because he can't walk anymore
>Peter blames himself and leaves but not before telling MJ to forget about him
>He contacts Happy to see if there's anyway he can help them
>Happy fakes Pete's and Aunt Mays death saying another mercany killed them both. And he sends them on a plane to Austin or some other place with tall buildings.Petes supporting cast besides MJ and Ned don't know this and think he's dead for real
>APete and Aunt May dye their hair blonde
>The News is playing and is talking about Xavier's new school of mutants and then there's a close up of Peter's new ID and it says Ben Reilly
>Peter decides to still be a hero but he's now know as the mutant the scarlet spider
>Aunt may and Peter are dirt broke and Peter works as journalist for a company that is very anti mutant and he's has to write articles that are very Jim Crow-esque because the jobs pays good
>Peter is always at the breaking of wanting to continue to be a hero because of his guilt and how shitty his life is.
>Then his birthday comes and Wanda comes over to give him a gift and restores his memories of what happened before

Attached: 46c462f55fcc628f7dea720b1f512b00.jpg (600x1145, 94K)

OP are they literally have to do is tell the story of when before Peter met Tony. He already was bit by the Spider, Uncle Ben is hinted at, and he has his homemade suit. His origin was never told in the MCU, but a prequel can be made

But I liked Logan. Seethe harder.

3/3
>Wanda then tells him she's going to earse Spiderman from everyone's mind as a reward for making her realize she can be can continue to be a good person
>Spider-Man doesn't exist in anyone's mind anymore not even aunt may and the avengers
>Wanda and Strange still remember everything
>Peter and May move back to New York
>Ned is Peter's friend again and MJ moved on and got a new boyfriend
>Peter is small time again and doesn't have any resources so he makes and dawns his old classic suit
>Spider-Man can now be Spider-Man without any of the MCU bullshit

OP here I took some Adderall and now I'm good there's still a bunch of details I left out but maybe I'll try to piece it all together into a script in a couple days

Attached: Reed_Richards_(Earth-616)_Peter_Parker_(Earth-616)_Civil_War_Vol_1_7.png (1000x1316, 2.31M)

Honestly he doesn’t really need fixing
Maybe they set up the identity reveal too soon but he has some great potential for the third film to be the best of them all, maybe play up the insane danger of everything
>multiple bad guys coming for him, I.E. Hobgoblin, Kraven, Scorpion, theres a lot you can do with this
>maybe aunt May gets paranoid and doesn’t know who to trust
>Peter is definitely gonna get crazy paranoid and won’t trust anyone especially if hobgoblin’s involved
>maybe at one point Peter or May could break down and let Ben Parker’s name slip
>also we could get a less high tech suit, maybe a comic accurate one cause everybody hates him now

He still won't have any struggles since Happy can just be his new sugar daddy since he probably has alot of Stark's money not mention he's banging aunt may so he definitely has alot of reasons to help him out

Did you get this from facebook?

>Norman takes over New York as Oscorp after the fall of Spiderman, with Tony's heir being villified, Oscorp becomes the new face of New York, promising a future where alien technology was going to play an active role in modernizing New York
>Behind the scenes he was seen working with Toombs to get him released from prison, promising a bigger paycheque and legitimacy, he offers black ops hazard pay for him and his gang. Meanwhile he meets up Mysterio
>Back in present day, Peter was forced into hiding after the fact he was outted as a terrorist, no longer enjoying the same immunity, Peter was forced to lay low as Ned tries to get a bearing on what happened to Peter. As he attempts to go to school fearing the cops will come for him, he runs into Norman Osbourne.
>Rather than having him arrested, Norman offers Peter a proposal, with graduation around the corner and a criminal record, he is offering a parole program that would protect Peter from further retribution, in exchange he was to prove to society that he wasn't a terrorist by helping fight crime in the city.
>Peter needing to clear his name decides to work undercover as a reporter, he uncovers a crime in progress and runs into Miles who his brother has joined an organization called the "The Six"
>Meanwhile Norman realized that the Skrulls were running Shield on Nick Fury's behalf and confronts Talos who denies he was infiltrated, so Norman tells the Sinister Six that they got a job in taking out Shield assets.
>Peter listens in on the conversation and has his first fight with the six who wants to bring him in to collect on a bounty but Peter fights them off. What he finds missing was Chitauri tech that Shield was transporting to a Damage Control Site

>The following day, Norman meets Peter again talking about the Skrulls and he assumes have infiltrated Shield like the Winter Soldier Incident years ago. He wants him to break into Shield and find out who is a Skrull and who isn't
>Needing help, he enlists Miles who after proving he was capable of being a Spiderman Successor. They go on a two man mission to find out what Shield was up to
>Successfully infiltrating the branch office with a mix of reporter guile and thuggery, they get inside the database and finds the list of confirmed Skrull agents, more importantly there was thumb drive that contains something about Norman. Spiderman was about to look when the alarm rings, the Six arrive to hunt him down and kills multiple Skrull/Shield agents in the process. They were about to kill Peter when a familiar voice calls them off. It was Norman in an iron man style suit
>He tells them that he had hired the Sinister Six as a new Avengers Style group to fight off alien menaces around Earth, seeing how Stark wanted to defend Earth on one hand yet making everyone dependent on him and the Avengers. He saw Stark as a man who was ill prepared to protect Earth. He wanted the list so he can root out every Skrull and confirm the existence of the Secret Invasion so he can take control of the organization.
>Peter is mortified at the revelation that Norman would do something like this and considered destroying the info when Norman makes an offer, hand it to him and he will clear his name with Jameson and fabricate a distraction that will make Spiderman a hero again. But Peter refuses, realizing he won't play nice, Norman tells him to play the data on the hard drive
>Cue several years ago after the battle of new york. A man talks to Norman Osbourne's men about needing some firepower. They give him a Chitauri tech based laser pistol who he takes. The same weapon used to kill Uncle Ben in this movie as seen in the intro where Ben tries to stop a robber only to be killed

Spider-Man has enough of captain marvel always destroying the godamn city every time she fights someone and beats her up in a civil war. Carol vs all the avengers

>Realizing his Uncle's death at the hands of Norman Osbourne, he enters the infamous stone cold rage Spiderman is capable of when he has nothing left to loose, unleashing the sinister six as it reveal the Hogoblin Armor and Glider System was Norman's secret weapon, Spider man and Miles was pushed to their limit when they are supported by Shield agents who heard of Peter's plight and offers help, in a similar scene to the original spiderman where despite the whole world seemingly against him, they chose to help Spiderman in his hour of need. The Sinister Six was defeated as Green Goblin leaves his comrades at the hands of the law.
>Chasing down Norman, Spidey effortlessly defeats Norman Osborn, defeated he orders the self destruct of the suit to hide his identity. Osborn allows himself to be handed in, knowing full well he has the full silence of the sinister six.
>Peter's name is cleared and Norman is arrested. As he begins his college life, he says goodbye to both Ned and MJ, wanting to set some distance between himself and New York as he goes to College, remember what Uncle Ben said about Power and Responsibility, he makes effort to be responsible and hand the intel back to Talos who safekeeps his secret and cleared his record.
>At college he meets Gwen Stacey, Mary Jane and more importantly, Harry Osbourne who is studying to follow his father's footsteps

Dude wtf. I just finished watching The Big Lebowski and you post that picture. That's spooky.

>How would you fix MCU Spider-Man?
I'd have to wait for something to be broken first.

You don't. Spider-man can only exist in a world where he's the main plot point.

Can't work in the same universe where other lead franchises interact with New York.
Can't work in the same universe as X-men / Mutants.
Can't work in the same universe as Silver Surfer / celestial bodies.
Can't work in the same universe as Thor / magic.
No supernatural entities period.

>X-fags want to destroy MCU Wanda as a character and use her as a plot device to get MCU mutants
>Spider-Man fans want to destroy MCU Wanda and use her as a plot device to fix MCU Spider-Man
What is wrong with you people?

Attached: 1556759266958.gif (540x200, 2.95M)

This. It's so fucking obnoxious. Especially since that's the only thing people fucking say about in relation to Wanda, like her entire purpose is to introduce muties.

If I see another article or YouTube vid say how "WandaVision could be used to introduce the mutants, we could have it be about the X-men." No, WandaVision should be about Wanda and Vision, not using her as a device to further other fucking characters then dumping her like a used condom

If Feige gives us Chaos Magic, Chthon, Wundagore, etc, the mystical lore which is unique to Wanda and is fucking awesome, and is actually hugely fucking important in mystic Marvel, he will have done the character a huge service.

Fun Fact: Wanda has much more in common with Blade than mutants.

>Metaphorically being the face of MCU
Yes
>Outright put him with Tony Stark and not being on his own
No

>Don't tie in Spider-Man with other Superhero movies
>Let Spider-Man be the only hero of the city, maybe even the world
>Don't let Spider-Man be a commercial for other heroes or movies to come
>No stupid multiverse crossovers. Spider-Man is a streetlevel hero and should stay like that.
>Make him the ultimate underdog. The city hates him. He barely has friends and despite all that he still does the responsible thing even if the people around him will hate him for that
>FFS just include a comic accurate Black Cat for once
>Don't make Peter an uberchad like in the old animated cartoon. He should look more like gymnast than a weight lifter
There. I've fixed every Spider-Man film in existence. Can't believe Spectacular is still the only property that got this right over the years.

>Spider-Man in the comics doesn't work
>Raimi movies are the truest version of Spider-man

Attached: 1551561354681.jpg (310x440, 132K)

>wants comics accurate Black Cat
>wants every other aspect of Peter's character to be removed from the comics

The sooner we get One More Day, the better

>Wants every other aspect of Peter to be removed from the comics
Found the retard. There is nothing in here that suggests that Peter's character gets changed from the comics. If anything everything I listed there, complements Spidey's character more. Spectacular Spider-Man is the best example of this. There has never been a more accurate version of Peter Parker in cinema/television than this show.

Attached: spongebob.jpg (1000x600, 116K)

You must be joking,One More Day derailed Spider Man in the comics and you want that nonsense in the movies?

Kill him off

Disney has yet to majorly fuck up any of their movies. They'll take the best parts of one more day and and make it better

Spidey becomes a SHIELD agent. Nick Fury managed to shut down the Peter/Spidey angle by using LMD-clone of Peter, code name Scarlet Spider.

While Peter is doing secret ops, Scarlet Spider steps in for Peter. However, Not!Peter managed to alienate themselves from Pete's friends. Aunt May goes prematurely white haired from the stress.

Bring in actual MJ, the sexy ginger, not the scruffy mixed girl. MJ is actually Peter's combat instructor, her parents were SHIELD agents but were killed by HYDRA. Not!Peter develops into his own man. By end of the movie, Not!Peter becomes Ben Reilly and goes his own way.

Ben's villain is the King Pin. Having learned about Peter, Kingpin seeks revenge. The end fight would be Ben v Black Cat while Kingpin gets away with everything,

Mid credits we see Oscorp & Kingpin are in cohoots. Together they'll make the Sinister Six.
