I did faggot and they said to post it here
Dumb fag!

Looks pretty damn good too me.
Sort of limited animstion but nice designs and I like the concept.

I hate this fucking website. Anyways it looks fucking great, it feels refreshing to have nice looking action oriented animation, and the heavy odes to early 2000s/late 90's anime are a nice bonus at that. ||And its largely black cast makes it stand out a lot from regular anime in a good way.||
>black qts
Nice
ive seen worse
>them fightin heards
>not allowed on Yea Forums
>not allowed on /mlp/
>cant be in the fighting general on /vg/
>cant talk about how faust went out of her way to give them designs on Yea Forums
But its created by an american its an american comic
It would be the SAME as ATLA
Can't wait
Is this not anime then? Based of a French comic!
Kind of disappointed to find out the main guy's only 17.
Hope he doesn't fall into those boy protagonist tropes.
What's with all the niggers?
Bye
True, but it's actually animated by Statelight.
>netflix-anime-creators
Ah yes, real unbiased authorities there.
this is fucking garbage, its one of the few anime that has literal western propaganda in it.

Where the fuck do you come from? Fucking shills, they don't send their best.
someone just post the cyborg chick with the huge tits.
For big laughs have Shiori Izawa do her Momoka voice. (Green-hair girl)

Yes, fucking garbage
I'm pretty damn interested.

It’s Anime Yea Forums
Am I suppose to be excited for this just because the characters are black? Good characters don't have to be black for me to related to them, or care about them. I have no trust in this.
A Watanabe show that's made for Western audiences?
Who could've seen that coming?
Oh, go fuck yourselves, newfags.
Yea Forums historically (at least, if you go back far enough, circa 2006-2009) has welcomed civil discussion on comic and cartoon media from our fellow geeks from the east.
Especially given since there is a lot of western media that either pays homage or parodies anime and manga to straight-up plagiarizing or even tracing them.
Looks interesting, but what in the actual hell is with those WAY OFF-BASE subtitles? Do all Netflix shows have such terrible captions, because I've never turned them on before.
>Do all Netflix shows have such terrible captions, because I've never turned them on before.
Welcome to "official" subs in the 2010's, it fucking sucks.
None of you fuckers said anything when voltron came out
>WAY OFF-BASE subtitles
I'm gonna guess you don't use Netflix that much huh? That's pretty standard.
looks good to me, a shame its art style is preventing it from finding a home on Yea Forums however.
I don't get the impression it is gonna be very deep but the action scenes look fun.
MC is adorable. The soundtrack is nice too.
>western propaganda
What was it?
Trans protag
>brown people
No thanks.
Who?
Trans people exist everywhere. It's not western thing. i mean duh
>Trans people exist everywhere.
And that's a bad thing.
It is visually pretty cool.
An entire main cast of brown people in an anime is a neat visual gimmick that I don't recall seeing before.
I'll put this on my giant pile of things I may eventually watch one day if I think about it.
Looks great, but the main character(?) looks, acts and sounds like shit
If Yea Forums can talk about Voltron, than they can talk about this.
They changed the girl's hair from the original trailer. I guess that explains why it took a while for it to come out, despite it being announced so long ago.
youtube.com
Not that I'm complaining, I like the cream colored hair better.
Blonde black girls look dumb anyway.
Gunxsword and trigun? This is going to be a trainwreck
I think it can work well if you find the right kind of blonde to contrast again the skin, but the one in the original trailer, definitely clashed too much.
>Do all Netflix shows have such terrible captions, because I've never turned them on before.
They tend to be really badly timed at least with anime.
>Cute brownies
I love it. Is it based on a western comic? Never heard of it. Does it have cute anime brownies in it too?
New hair looks bad
God that dub sounds awful.
Voltron had two entirely western made series prior. For the most part it was regarded as western but very anime looking, if that makes sense.
It's Netflix, so of course they have to force the main characters to be black.
Isn't it true that all this trans movement stuff has been maknig gays and dykes suffer?
Like illegitimising their struggle, because a bunch of white incels failed at being men and now want to be women?
wow
A lot of gays hate everything related to normalizing homosexuality. As one gay writer put it, portraying it as kosher white bread undermines the dissident rebellious thrust of taboo male homosexuality.
Is there a single thing that Yea Forums won't turn into bitter, resentful political shitflinging?
Netflix had nothing to do with that, it only picked up the show which already had a comic and a kickstarter beforehand. kickstarter.com
Its adapted from go lion which is an anime
Unfortunately no, most people have no shame and think they're special opinion is fact.
Back to Yea Forums you fuckin retard
Is it the ova from that kickstarter, or are we getting an actual series?
Not a fan of main guy's hairstyle, but main(?) girl is a cutie.
12 episode series on Netflix, according to Thomas's website. I wonder if the kickstarter pilot serves as the first episode.
He also made/directed this, which I thought I saw only in a fever dream.
youtube.com
The told me to post it here dumb fag
The director-writer has worked on Legend of Korra and the main dude looks very much like voltronLance. It leads to nothing good.
Netflix has nothing to do with it. It was originally a comic by LeSean Thomas that he's been trying to make into a show for years.
Yes, it's based on a western comic by one of the animators who worked on the Boondocks and the Black Dynamite cartoon.
