Nobody gave her a dicking
When the executives gave the ok for this shit to go into production.
Adora didn’t dick her down.
Adora keeps flip floping between "I like Catra, it's all my fault she's losing her mind" and "I don't care about Catra, it's all her own fault", she hasn't sit down to really think about their relationship, she acts either as a saviour or as if she didn't gave a shit about Catra, there's not inbetween.
This shit is in on season 3 already? Feels like the He-Ra design was only revealed a few months ago.
to be fair, season 2 was cut in half to kinda draw out interest
>it's been five years since S1 came out
wew
>"I like Catra, it's all my fault she's losing her mind" and "I don't care about Catra, it's all her own fault"
She has never made this change until the final 3 minutes of this season.
Adora wouldn't fist her
She's an incel
the show hasn't been out for a year and it seriously has three seasons already
It feels like those trap threads were just yesterday. I remember when people were saying that this thing will only produce trap porn. Well they were wrong. It does not produce any porn. Just pain and Cute Catradora Images.
Truly the best of times.
Even if it's really two.
>It has three seasons
Well, shit.
you dont let the cat sleep on your bed, if you lt the cat sleep on your bed they think they own you, and then they take over your life
Shadow Weaver.
Hell, even in this season she was pretty close to going "fuck it, we'll live in the desert and be SAND PIRATES."
And then Catra found out that 5 seconds after she discovered that Shadow Weaver had betrayed her, ol' redrobes was knocking on Adora's bedroom door.
Never underestimate the power of "mommy loved you and hated me" as a motivator.
She's never taken that to the extreme until now, but she's definetively been going back and fort between the two these last two seasons.
What if her erotic experience with Adora wasn't as satisfying than Catra had hoped
being catra = suffering
I’m more and more starting to wonder why Shadow Weaver even took Catra in in the first place. It had to’ve been more than just “Adora needs a playmate,” for her to expend as much energy on Catra as she did. I’m not sure she could fuck up raising a person more if she tried. Was she trying?
>it's already been 10 years since Steven Universe ended
I feel so old bros
I miss the stars.
fuck Catra, she went full retard
Shadow Weaver does whatever makes Adora happy.
BUT STUPID CATS NEED THE MOST LOVE!
She wanted a control group.
Adora wanted a pet cat. But then Darwin happened. So she got stuck with another brat. And what is worse, a gay one.
This is false.
>Im not sure if this is good for Adora, better try it on Catra first.
>turns out dodging knives blindfolded while the floor is on fire is not a good training, good thing I tested it. Now Catra, stop whining, the fur will cover the scars when it grows back, but before that I have some good ideas about chainsaws and acid I need to test
She used threats against Catra as a way to control Adora. She didn't actually expend much energy to raise Catra, she just let her exist and beat a few times while staring at Adora.
>plenty of room on the comfy couch
>Catra still has to sit on a box next to the couch
Beautiful detail.
Yeah, I kinda noticed that after I hit submit, too.
It would like next picture where SW taps her lap, Catra looks over. Then Adora offers privilege to Catra. But then Shadow Weaver picks Adora up, and puts her in her lap instead.
That’s a great use for Catra after the fact, but where did Shadow Weaver even get the idea that Adora was going to turn out to be a compassionate person? She shouldn’t have predicted that when she adopted them both as babies.
Normally when you raise kids this way, you should expect that the one in Adora’s position is gonna turn out to be the Dudley Dursley to Catra’s Harry Potter. It was a lucky fluke that being an awful person didn’t run off on Adora.
mental illness
Catra likes it rough
Not enough best girl
Maybe the writers subscribe to the nature philosophy rather than nurture.
>best
Let's not go crazy, now.
Adora's the one person in the Horde that was too much of a blockhead to realize the Horde propaganda was PROPAGANDA.
When she heard "you need to be loyal to your teammates" she went "damn right!" while everyone else was going "yeah right, to get ahead around here you have to backstab left and right, maybe make an ally or two but take nothing for granted..."
When the propaganda went "the Horde is the good guys," she firmly nodded.
She turned out good because the Horde went through the motions of teaching something vaguely like morality, and she took all the best bits to heart.
S1-S3 Catra: Oh, you gonna be rough, Adora? Well... I like it rough.
S4 Catra: NOT THAT ROUGH! NOT THAT ROUGH!
>literally to dumb to be evil
why is she so perfect guys
before she got brain cancer, yes
Most of the character designs aside from Catra suck. How's the writing?
Cats go insane if they can't lick pussy, it's biology.
I can accept that from a story perspective, but not when it fucks with Shadow Weaver’s reasoning and perspective to seem out of character. I would think Shadow Weaver would kinda assume people to be selfish like she is, so I don’t see why she would take a baby she herself was raising and say “yeah, this kid is probably gonna inexplicably turn out nothing like me and will put the needs of others before her own. I don’t know anything about what her parents were like, but, eh, her eyes are blue so she’s probably gonna be a good guy.”
let's have a little respect for the raped corpse of a character ok
Mediocre aside from Catra and Adora's romance.
the writting sucks
>Catra and Adora's romance
non existent
It still cracks me up that Catra didn't know that Adora didn't know they were the bad guys.
Adora: "You know how Shadow Weaver told us that torturing kids to make them obedient is normal? She was lying."
Catra: "Whu... wh... YOU BELIEVED HER UNTIL NOW?!?!? holyshit I've been sleeping at the foot of a moron's bed this whole time."
You know it's creepy how realistic they get with these character interactions. Shadow Weaver casually playing with Catra's hair while spinning some bullshit about "I only hurt you because you remind me of myself", how quickly her tone shifts from sweet and soft to hard, how she uses guilt and high expectations to makeCatra and Adora accept her abuses while simultaneously praising them, etc. Just the small things Shadow Weaver does to emotionally manipulate people are frighteningly accurate.
Shadow Weaver's technique is based around fostering false affection. She purposefully made Adora to be an affectionate person so that she would be emotionally dependent on her. Catra fit in perfectly, giving her someone she could threaten with harsh punishments without the constant flipping between affection and cruelty screwing up Adora's head, like it so clearly did with Catra's. She was molding Adora into a loyal pawn in a very distinctly abusive mother way, and Catra was just collateral.
how are they flying through the seasons so fast
wasn't She-Ra just released like last year and already S3?
Is this worth watching? Catra seems like a good character but the lgbt stuff I think is in it would annoy me to no end. Can anyone tell me if it's as bad as I fear?
It was in season one but it seems to have been put on hold
S3 is actually the second half of production season 2, because dicing up seasons is how netflix does things now
>How's the writing
Enjoyable. It's pretty character-driven. There's only been a few "damn, I did NOT see the one coming" twists in the lore, but there's been a good number of times when a character surprised us in a good way (good in terms of making shit interesting, not that they always made a good call).
Anything stick out or worth a damn, or should I just look up pictures of the few decent characters and call it a day?
if I didnt know better by now I would say there is no chance Catra and Adora end together
>Maybe the writers subscribe to the nature philosophy rather than nurture.
I genuinely can't see how you would come to that conclusion. They practically write "she's doing this self-destructive shit because she was abused" in large brightly lit colors.
Can I just say that I ~like~ the way that Netflix releases "seasons" a couple times a year, in blocks of 6 or so eps?
Enough for a good binge, enough to tell a bit of story in one setting so you can take it all in, and then a good break of a few months so people can think about what happened and come up with conjectures, fanart, and the like.
>why Shadow Weaver even took Catra in in the first place
she never did.
Show's halfway done and they've probably had more dialogue between one another or about one another than any other characters. Their fucked up relationship is the heart of the show.
season 2 and 3 are just halves of the same season thou, I dont even remember how 2 ended
This newest season just gave us a pretty great hetero ship right in the forefront that also affects the plot, while the only canonical lesbian characters remain completely offscreen and largely forgotten after their brief token appearance. So it seems like it’s turning around.
>I hate Adora for being here first
>I hate Adora for sucking up to Shadow Weaver
>Adora is the first friendly face I ever saw
>Adora is nice to me
Oof, that is... that is twisted.
not enough manly dick
their relationship sucks thou
>I hate you, why dont you love me?
if they ended up as enemies I would like it, but after this shit they still gonna end up together ans knowing that it is comming makes the whole thing suck
Books aren't top-level canon.
Not really, it's mostly forgettable outside Catradora. These three are probably the ones you'll be interested in, though Scorpia is p. manly and dependent on her characterization for her charm if you aren't into muscle girls.
I wish they would just go full weekly episode releases. I don't like this binging shit; I barely have free time and watching these blocks makes me feel like I wasted precious time
>the lgbt stuff
Catra and Adora have a fucked up relationship. There's certainly the possibility they might be a couple in endgame. Or maybe redeemed as "sisters". Or maybe Catra doesn't get a happy ending.
Bow has gay dads. They appear in one ep. One.
There are two gay princesses. But they're only really in one ep, and even then just as part of a larger team.
Huntara flirts with a gal barkeep, briefly.
Think that might be about all of it, beyond things that people look at and go "THIS IS MEANINGFUL" which miiiight be meaningful, and might not.
It definitely has "they know what they're doing" moments, but it's not "HAVE WE MENTIONED GAY PEOPLE TODAY?" or anything.
Mostly just a girl raised in an army finding out that she was actually one of the baddies and trying to make things right.
I thought Young Justice had a good balance, doing three episodes a week then take a break halfway through. The one episode release is slowing the pace way down in comparison.
As for Netflix, it wouldn't bother me if they at least added the episodes to the season appropriately. Amazon Prime actually does this.
Show's halfway done. Maybe not even halfway, if they squeezed a little extra cash out of Netflix to make a handful more eps.
It's really bizarre how the hetero ships are largely healthy and supportive while the lesbian ones are broken abusive hells. It makes me feel like the show is being written by a self-hating lesbian
I still dont know how Bow has 100 brothers from 2 gay dads, they're just picking up kids on the streets? they walk around at night looking for the brown ones? Bow dads are sociopaths, dont trust them
Not one lesbian graduated from Class S.
I think it’s less like being purposefully self-hating and more like being honest in their experiences. A lot of lesbians are desperate for romantic affection but don’t have the luxury of a large dating pool to choose from, so it’s really easy for them to wind up in abusive relationships that they try to force into working.
Netossa and Spinnerella seem okay, even if barely focused on.
>hetero ships are healthy
Sea Hawk and Mermista's relationships is largely joke fodder. She goes around "UGGGHHH" ing, rolling her eyes, and complaining about how he won't stop following her. Then she invites him the ball as her date.
Micah and Angela can't be in the same room together without the world falling apart.
Hordak and Entrapta are... not healthy. They're trying to summon an evil army, and he needed a little imp to yell at him just to say "I appreciate you."
Is that it? I think that's it.
I admit that the theory that they simply picked up a bunch of war orphans from the abundant selection this world likely has is viable. But personally I still prefer to imagine they had a black chick broodmare slave tied in their basement that they took turns with using as their baby factory.
from what we saw of Spinnerella, I think shes on xanax 24/7. Is Xanar the one that make you get up in the middle of the night and cook a turtkey right?
>war orphans from the abundant selection this world likely has
The rest of the orphans end up in the Horde. You’ll see parentless monster kids and human kids in the Horde, but never black human boys specifically. Bow’s dads thought about adopting Lonnie for a second but ditched her when they realized she was a girl. They took in her biological brother instead.
>Hordak and Entrapta
still the better relationship in the show, they good for each other, but bad for everyone else.
I say that cuz we still have to see Angel Milf and Manlet together and I dont trust SpinNet, they're too clingy
>tfw no mommy GF to condescendingly compliment your nets
Sea Hawk and Mermista are a punchline, but honestly everything involving the other princesses is.
Micah and Angela are generic wonderful couple torn apart by war
Hordak and Entrapta improve each other by being together. They actually wanted to postpone summoning an evil army just so they could stay together longer, and that Hordak was even in a situation where he needed a wingman to help him out was a miracle.
And Bow x Glimmer is the best couple in the show
>There are two gay princesses. But they're only really in one ep, and even then just as part of a larger team.
They aren't even princesses, they're just sorceresses. That's why Bow never remembers them because they literally aren't worth remembering. If Bow can't see the value in someone, she is bonafide shit.
Bow can't remember them because they're the only ones that don't rent him out for weekly dickings
>Bow x Glimmer
Glimmer is an gay eggplant thou
I hope we get BowxGlimmer in Season 4 if only to give Bow something and someone do. It feels like he's gotten the least character development of the main characters.
Gay eggplants don't get jealous about manfaced flowers stealing their men
I mean, they're referred to as being from "the far reaches." The writers didn't want the Alliance to be completely unpopulated, but also didn't want to have powerful members there available to make things easier.
Solution: there ARE other powerful members of the Alliance! They're just far away right now, sorry.
>Hordak and Entrapta are... not healthy. They're trying to summon an evil army, and he needed a little imp to yell at him just to say "I appreciate you."
Hordak is inept at relationships, since the sole reason he exists is to destroy and conquer for his master "brother". He was cast out for an inferior trait, which might be the same reason he caved into accepting Entrapta's help: the ability to trust. Catra ORDERED HIM AROUND after being told Entrapta betrayed him, he lost the will to command, and even his will to live was distorted. He became vulnerable to Entrapta, so the idea she betrayed him is a new experience to him that he won't ever forget. One of two things has to happen, he either confronts Entrapta or he learns that Catra lied. Ever notice how seldom Hordak lied, if at all? He may be too much of a warrior taking direct approaches that deception elludes him.
Tangentially, I think Hordak might be due for another major upgrade. His body is breaking down due to clone aging. Entrapta overhauled his cybernetics for a powered armor. What if his body continues to break down in spite of the cybernetics? If he can't inhabit a new body, then rewriting his cells to something different is another avenue. First Ones Technology has seamless combining of machine and organic life, and Entrapta is smart enough to duplicate it. Here's hoping Hordak gets a shapeshifting biomechanical body.
Her character arc is getting good, gotta hit rock bottom to get up huh?.
Can't wait for her to give Adora the scar, everything seems to be pointing for that.
speking of I dont remember her name, does she even has a ship? even Frosta has people who ship her with Glimmer, but I dont think she even got shipped with Bow
Adora didn't fuck her
she hitted bottom when she used the black garnet to kill the world, the last two seasons was her digging even deeper and shes no comming back up
>Hordak and Entrapta is not healthy
Delusional cuck, they're the healthiest ship in the show right now, maybe only compared to BowXGlimmer or GlitterxAdora
In cartoons you can never hit rock bottom. You can only sink deeper into trampolin.
Perfuma, and I know people shipped her with Entrapta because of how shook up she was about her perceived death. Then saw some with her and Mermista because of the DnD episode. And everybody loves Adora/She-Ra so there's that.
I think not really having a thing to contribute outside of her very niche environment hinders her from doing much with others.
That's Perfuma.
>Hordak and Entrapta are... not healthy.
Their relationship is extremely healthy: equal grounds, similar gals, both trying to help each other feel some sort of self worth.
Their actions as villains, however, that's where things get iffy.
Entrapta seems like she's only a net good
probably would have been keen to have Bow as a lab partner if he wasn't so into white chicks
>He was cast out for an inferior trait, which might be the same reason he caved into accepting Entrapta's help: the ability to trust
Huh, that would be an easy way for them to get away with redeeming a character that's basically a clone of space Hitler
Imagine your super galactic, planet-cracking space armada hellbent on conquest has this one admiral, the only admiral, with reports of allowing subordinates to exercise autonomous discretion. Imagine the AUDACITY of this admiral doling out REWARDS for success in battle. Who does that prick think he is, making use of positive reinforcement in this empire of a single god, Horde Prime?
That image still makes me giggle, the more you see it the more you notice.
does anyone has that screenshot of Entrapta talking about imperfection and Hordak looking at her?
This one?
that "let me suck your dick" face tho
I think they mean the sparkly beam of light pose
nope, it was two screenshots together and there were sparkles behind Entrapta, but this one is cute thou, saved
Not really, those designs are pretty bad. And I didn't mean to jerk off to, user.
Don't have the 2 together, but I have the first
>We're closer to 2100 than 2000
I like her interactions with Mermista.
Is it fucked up that this scene made me came
Entrapdak is the healthiest ship you fag
Based, that ship is cute.
I wonder which one tops.
Please stop hurting the kitty
She hurts herself
I'm still blown away by how they successfully managed to make the genocidal alien warlord look like a bumbling lonely autist who just needed a waifu.
>be me
>have close friend
>circumstances drove us apart
>try to keep close, fail
>get angry and do stupid shit that drove him away even further
>salvage, ruin it again
>get my own 'scorpina' who goes out of his way to make me happy but refuse his help
>Salvage, ruin again
>find new way to be happy, dont care
>cant move on
>lose 'scorpina'
>salvage, ruin again
>lose connection to 'adora' for good
>find new ways to be happy but keep ruining it
>cant move on
They know how to drive the point home.
Why cant i be happy leading a band of lizard pirates bros?
Why cant i let go?
Mermista is a total pillow princess
You're a flesh robot and the wiring in your head is defective
Glimmer, did I ever tell you that Shadow Weaver was banished for roping in your father, her long-time protege, into casting the spell of obtainment in order to defeat the horde, and has been on a long-game spying mission on the horde for twenty years? She was a good friend.
if her personality didnt sucked so much
>Better villain characterization than Steven Universe.
Hurts but is true.
>Not likin moody tsunderes
Your fault
Can't wait for King Micah to be back and see her daughter have been trained by SW of all people
>Glimmer, I gonna train you the same way I trained your father, and you shall refer to me the same he did?
>And whats that? tecaher?
>Sheets demon
Hordak won't admit that he appreciates Entrapta ad she might not even see him as more than a friend/lab partner. hopefully when it's all over they can fuck off to spess and live scientifically ever after.
thats the one, thanks user
>I’m going to train you the same way I trained your father
Chastity device?
GLIMUH
Eggplant is NOT FOR LEWD
Eggplant is 18+ so she definitely is if you want to
Nah they're totally fucking
Source before mods take it, please
@littleleafbun on Twitter
It strikes me now that all the kids in the fright zone being raised with a military education and absolutely nothing else isn't some weird sinister brainwashing scheme on Hordak's part, it's literally the only thing he knows. He was cloned to be a military leader and probably got no more information about how to be a normal person than what he's giving his own troops.
Between this and the heavy themes of abusive parenting, destructive lesbian relationships and oppressive societal trends, sometimes I think this show is actually some extensive social commentary masquerading as a toy commercial.
Did...did they actually manage to fill this reboot with genuine SJW shit and get us to still like it?
Bless you, user
I wish I understood how to browse twitter
you think she shes using her hair to tickle his nose?
their search tool sucks anyway
Literally just look it up on google you twat
The worst thing about the Tumblr ban is that there has been no replacement for porn content, Twitter fucking sucks for artists, newgrounds is dead, and R34 is just reposts
paheal ways been more of a catalog, artist rarely use it
I'd like to see what are they going to do with Scorpia and Entrapta because Bow is too fucking tall.
Honestly I'd like to see MOTUC toys of the new show. they're already doing versions of the shitty live action movie and New Adventures so there's no excuse.
YES SHE IS
she has a loli form now.
>shitty live action movie
>shitty
You shut your whore mouth.
How the fuck is this on season 3? I thought this just started
they splitted season 2 in two parts
Season 2 and 3 were 6 episodes each
the answer is Netflix you poorfag
>it's literally the only thing he knows. He was cloned to be a military leader and probably got no more information about how to be a normal person than what he's giving his own troops.
That's it right there. The thing about Hordak is, he has no fucking clue on how to be a different person, because his only purpose in life was to be the extension of Horde Prime's will and nothing else. Then, when he's at the top and Horde Prime's Top Lieutenant, his body starts to show weakness and he's soon outed as a defect.
He won the battle, but lost the war. Hordak had everything he wanted in his limited existence of a life, and he lost that. He had a brother and was proud to serve him and the Empire, but was then cast out and sent to die. Then, to top it all off, he gets pulled into another dimension with only a broken ship.
After all that though, after being thrown away and called worthless by Horde Prime, he still makes another Horde Empire and created the Fright Zone, nearly conquered another world with limited resources and was trying to make a functioning portal machine, when he only started out with a busted ship.
Hell, he still wants Horde Prime to be proud of him and just wants his brother to see him as more than being worthless. He doesn't want glory, he just wants to go back to the way things used to be, just like Catra.
Netflix is just doing their thing by splitting seasons in half so there's less of a wait between episodes. This is technically season 2.5
How depraved is Catra? Pet play? Diapers?
I've actually had netflix for quite some time, when you still primarly rented DVDs and then 'instant watch' was later added for a small extra fee. (on top of blu-ray fee)
Rogelio is cute! CUTE!
>Petplay
Yes
>Diapers
Hell no
>i still think 1990 was 10 years ago
AAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHH
if only he was really a character
Someday, user, someday
No, because you get bullshit like S2 barely having any content and having to wait for S3 to get the story. Maybe if the show runners designed the seasons to be shorter from the start it would work somehow, but if it's just netflix forcing them to split a season at an arbitrary point the result will always mess with how the story was meant to be experienced.
The really sad part is, Hordak only created the Etherian Horde to make Horde Prime proud of him, and that's it. He didn't give a shit about leading the Horde and now we know why, Etheria wasn't for him, it was supposed to be a gift for his brother. Hordak never even wants to be a ruler in the first place. He was happy about being Horde Prime's underling once again. He's happy in being a servant.
The only time he ever might have had a glimmer of something different in his mind is when Entrapta was trying to persuade him to continue on working on perfecting the portal. Hell, I bet you if Catra hadn't interrupted the two of them, Hordak might have agreed to postpone opening the portal a lot longer.
>"Do you know what the definition of failure is? Failure is when something ceases to serve a purpose. When that happens, it becomes worthless to me."
Even after all these years, he still remembers his brother's last words to him.
Do you think we'll get another flashback into Hordak's past and we get to actually see Horde Prime in full saying this, as he's holding a gasping Hordak by his neck?
He's going to die fighting Horde Prime to get his redemption.
Hope he doesn't die maybe another kind of sacrifice, but not die.
What's this about micah being alive?
beast island
>No content
>ended with Catra about to be exiled after fuckign up
Yeah, see, if they fucking tie everything up in a bow and give perfect arcs, there's nothing to talk about or speculate about.
Only people who are alive exist in the fake dimension. Micah realizes that Angela thinks he's dead, so he shouts "Angela wait! I'm alive!" but is cut off in the middle of saying "alive." Mara was stuck in limbo, not fully dead, since she gave up the power in order to seal the portal.
Noelle did say she wanted to do the 52 episodes she had planned in four arcs with thirteen episodes in each arc. Netflix just likes to break up seasons like this.
It makes sense for Netflix's business model to have shorter but more frequent seasons, since that makes easy to binge and that's what Netflix is all about. Too bad it doesn't suit every show.
Within the concept of Nietzschean philosophy, Hordak, and Catra, is one of the Last Men, a placid, servile existence that seeks comfort and security over independence. Redemption for him would come not through self-sacrifice to appease a moral philosophy, redemption for Hordak would come from the rejection of Hordak Prime and the forging of his own path through his will to power. While a shallow interpretation would be for him to overthrow Hordak Prime and take over, truly breaking free would be a genuine loving relationship with Entrapta.
When power becomes gracious and descends into the visible — such descent I call beauty. And there is nobody from whom I want beauty as much as from you who are powerful: let your kindness be your final self-conquest.
she-ra didn't fuck catra with her futa cock*
ftfy
>I barely have free time
it's a trade-off, you have to make time for 2-3 hours once every three months instead of 25 minutes every week
I love it
Pls showrunners let them be happy together
Lab partners is a funny way to say "fuckbuddies"
>entrapta: YEAH THIS IS AWESOME
>hordak: Now we're all sons of bitches...
They can be both
He looks so proud of her. I love it. Now the only thing he needs to do is go to Beast Island and rescue her.
I just want to see the relief on his face when he realizes she never betrayed him
I can't wait to see his face when he clicks that Catra lied to him just to get what she wanted
>Entrapta finds herself on a ship full of Hordak's
>For some inexplicable reason the Hordak's immediately take a liking to her
>Entrapta is now Entrapt-Ra, Hordak-Master and now queen of the Horde
>Her Hordak is repaired by the newer Horde Tech and better genome repairing machines
>Entrapta then clones herself millions of times so the Hordak's have a companion too.
The universe will be ruled by autists and I don't know if that's good or bad.
>That weird villain monologue to circumvent actually complimenting Entrapta
>She sees right through it
Geez, That faggot is a perfect pair with flowers girl.
>Alliance vs Horde
wtf, how has Blizzard not sued them yet?
Other way around, mate. She-Ra's waaaay older.
And besides, if you want to be a stickler, the official trademarks for the brand are "The Great Rebellion" and "The Evil Horde."
Almost got me
People keep meming that only the bad guys are interesting, but Adora is unironically one of my favorite protagonists, especially female protagonists, in a long time. And Glimmer has become a LOT more interesting in S2 and S3 with her bloodlust and getting training from Shadow Weaver.
And for the less important heroes, Frosta could be really interesting with more screentime. Bow and Mermista aren't deep characters, but they're just as fun to watch as Scorpia.
>she makes bad decisions
I really, really love when Adora's horde training shines through in how she fights and how she talks to people
She's not about to let years of actually useful training go to waste because the people that taught her were evil
Your right, it's more Futa than trap but not by too much. But the rest is gay shit, which is fine its cartoon accurate. Its weird seeing straight porn of the gay characters, blahh, disgusting
That’s what makes her so interesting. Adora is better than She-ra. Sure, she-ra has powers, but Adora chose to defect and spends most of her time utilizing hers skills over her magic. She doesn’t need to be she-day to kick ass.
Contrast that to Adam and He-man, where everyone wonders why Adam doesn’t just spend all his time transformed. Adam isn’t particularly interesting beyond keeping his identity secret. If he didn’t have that, why would anyone want Adam around when they could have he-man?
she needs adoras dick
>4 hours
Mods hard at work as usual
right aint official art
>tfw they don't
He meant why is Catra so fucked up in terms of her mental stability
>Entrapta, are you still there?
We don't blaspheme in this thread
More specifically, infected she-ras dick
I just wish Netflix would correctly label them as new episodes instead of new seasons. They actually used to do this with King Julien and Puss in Boots, two of the earliest Dreamworks cartoons.
Here's a better version.
Is this Hordak's waifu-vision?
Glimmer seems a little too tall, as well.
Yes
It's good. Or maybe I'm just grasping for straws here since there's no more story driven western animations out there
Only LGBT stuff is Bow's two dads. But there are alot of changing skin color of original charactes. I was disgused at first but story was kinda enjoyable.
What are you smoking? They're one of the healthiest ships on the show.
>Never underestimate the power of "mommy loved you and hated me" as a motivator.
Just ask Vergil.
The first episode was released in 2018 though?
What is this shit, Entrapta is blatantly asexual, and Hordak never looked at her in a way other than merely appreciative. The fact that she's all over him but in a purely platonic way should give away everything you need to know about how she feels towards him, and the fact that he physically does not react when she touches him should tell you all you need to know about how he feels towards her. This show is very obvious when it comes to anything romantic, like REALLY obvious, the sparkly waifuvision was not there to show him becoming interested in her, it was to show her lighting up his world and him beginning to figure that maybe having a friend isn't so bad. If it was to be him developing romantic feelings, they would have shown it in his face or body language, instead he just smiled.
You'll do what you wish user, and you will find happiness one day.
cute feet
Asexuals can still have romantic feelings
Fag cope
So catra was literally like a medieval whipping boy, the friend you punish to hurt the royal child instead of hitting them directly.
Why the fuck did the horde preach loyalty when it went against their very core principals?
I mean, look at nazi germany, they outright preached to their subordinates that social darwinism and putting yourself first was the key to success even as soldiers-- They drilled Social darwinism in even at their base levels.
I mean, if the people in charge truly believe that, you'd think you'd have something more akin to britannia from Code Geas.
He's an autist clone that has known nothing but war. He doesn't know how to express emotions like a normal person.
If this is what they did to Hordak, just think what they'll do to skeletor when they finally get their mitts on him.
>If it was to be him developing romantic feelings, they would have shown it in his face or body language, instead he just smiled.
He's literally a clone who's only lot in life was to be the extension of Horde Prime, and little else. Hordak wasn't really even a person, until, ironically, his defects made him be seen differently in Horde Prime's eyes. Clones don't get to have relationships or be allowed to have normal lives. They are created for a purpose, live for that purpose and are disposed of when they fail to meet expectations or have abnormalities. The only time we see Hordak actually act like a normal person, by very loose standards, is when he's with Entrapta.
>That filename
Ok, that gave me a chuckle.
What if...
catra is a lead in to a new Thundercats series and she's a thundaran?
Everyone will get a waifu
The horde preaches Hordak's core principals, but since he's so distanced from actual management of it subterfuge and deception are allowed to thrive
>Hatred built me, but Entrapta perfected me
This.
Nevertheless, I'm keeping seasons 2 and 3 in the same folder and no one can stop me!
At the very beginning, when Adora asked her to defect from the horde and come with her, Catra said no. That is where it all went wrong.
Remember when Hordak was just some pig-faced dude who turned into dildos?
I remember back in the 2000 series when he was the ultimate evil that made even skeletor scared.
It was the fucking Alliance vs. the Horde. The Horde that had been kicking the Alliance's ass up and down the continent for years, vs. The "Princess Alliance" that would short on, y'know, Princesses that would show up.
Catra thought Adora was out of her mind because Adora was saying things you'd have to be out of your mind to believe.
>"We don't HAVE to turn on the portal you know. We could just collect data and fuck"
>"What?!"
>"I said we could collect data"
Now he's a twink with a cute gf
It's an improvement desu
>Implying Hordak knows what sex is
He's a virgin clone. Entrapta is inexperienced too, most likely. Their first time would be awkward, but probably cute.
she put spite and vengeance above her own happiness. She could have stayed in the Red Waste and been happy, but spiting Adora and Shadoweaver was more important to her than the only two people besides Adora who genuinely respect and love her entire fucking world, and it cost her the love of the only three people who ever genuinely loved her.
what do you think happens if/when he finds out that Catra lied to him about Entrapta's betrayal?
I tried to sing along
Then it all went wrong
Disappointing show
Then the next song came on
That's when it all went wrong
And the PA fell on the crowd
Then the cops came
And took us away
For an extended period of questioning about the PA
What went wrong?
Should've rehearsed more
And talked about the song sequence
Disappointing show
It went wrong when Adora decided to look away when Shadow Weaver was punishing little Catra and then pretend everything was alright.
So when is Skeletor getting a ship this cute?
He will McFucking lose it and probably try and kill Catra, of maybe, just glare at her deeply and run off to find his science-waifu. He'll probably be needed for something important, but he's fucked off to find her in Beast Island.
Dude, skeletor had a ship from day one, its Evil-lyn.
Yeah, she tries to kill him all the time, but its basically a Tsundere ship with the two.
He's going to tear Catra's ears and tail off then charge off to find Entrapta, hug her, and sob into her hair.
He'll send her back to the Crimson Waste. In pieces.
They're gonna be the abusive het ship
>I dug up some some pictures from the barracks for instructional material to help us out. They're categorized by how how how compatible they are with our physiology and cross-indexed by how many penises we're gonna need.
Classic Skeletor doesn't support this kind of cute ship.
Skeletor will be Horde Prime's new general when they arrive on Etheria, setting up his eventual stranding on Eternia. if they can't have He-Man then they can totally put Skeletor in the show.
Correct.
I think he's a twunk
Skeletor gets a big titty redhead goth gf dude
And given the SJW setup of the show, Skeletor and He-man will end up both being flamingly gay lovers.
You think that's something this show would have started...?
youtube.com
I mean they'll make it official.
Look at that size 0 waist. That man is a full blown twink.
I doubt there's a snowball's chance in hell of He-Man appearing in any significant way. The showrunners wouldn't want to do anything to minimize Adora and She-Ra by reminding people they're just the spinoffs of a boy story.
They literally don't have the rights to He Man
What if when trying to kill Catra his body repairs itself, because he's made out of elemental cartoon villainy to the point where rage and hatred are even more important than food?
I want He-Man to appear because I want Adora to reunite with her family and be happy.
You don't really have to change anything about Skeletor because he was always kinda ridiculous. Like he was the dangerous evil guy but he was also really petty and he just fucking LOVED being a jerk.
Why is that?
they'll do him the same way they did Catra. while Adora and Hordak are orderly, uptight and militaristic, Catra and Skeletor are emotional, spiteful and chaotic.
Some movie studio has it
just like Hordak, Skeletor will have a loli Evil-lyn as arm candy.
>make a villain look like an incredibly badass lich
>Give him the world's nasaliest high pitched voice possible and a stupid laugh
an edgelord villain with a monster voice is boring. high pitched Skeletor is the default Skeletor and still everyone's favorite.
Well his nose is a gaping hole. Nasally seems appropriate
>Evil-lyn
>A loli
GET OUT
His face is only a skull and his vocal cords are intact. They could have given him any voice.
hear me out, Evil-Loli is Skeletor's apprentice and has a puppy crush on him, but as she gets older and more powerful, she grows more ambitious and eventually plots to overthrown Skeletor.
good thing i have theese saved :P
Canon big tidis
I'm sure
She's has big soft ass
Smells funny
Tastes like pizza dough
Hairy
Big soft feet with nice smell
It's a licker
Oh come on now, he doesn't need arm candy to be redeemed, he just needs two small children and a robot puppy to do the right thing!
Seriously though nobody on this show needs to touch MOTU characters, they really do not have the right anything to make it enjoyable the way He-Man should be.
I don't have thinking until now that she wears a white leotard
My fuckin fetish
gag dubs/subs are not funny. T4S babies get out.
Adora calling Eternia "home" was clearly going to be a development point for her. It's obvious that in coping with the fact that she's from another planet, she'll realize that Etheria is her real home.
Besides, He-Man showing up in this show would be a bad idea anyway.
yeah that shit died with Yu-Gi-Oh abridged
it really doesn't matter if he shows up, the show is about Adora and Catra. they would only be doing a favor to MOTU and He-Man by giving him a cameo. dude's been dead in the cartoon scene.
>it's been 7 hours and this still hasn't been taken down
Based mods
>Frosta learning dark arts from Glimmer (who learned them from Shadow Weaver)
Please Noelle, I need my edgelord loli princess.
I enjoy these very much thanks
Hordak assumes his underlings are primitives.
What he wants:
An army that obeys him, is efficient, believes it's in the right, and is orderly - which DOES mean making sure to look after one another.
What he got:
Backstabbing and lying left and right in an attempt to claw to the top of shit hill.
It's more complicated than that. Suffice to say, they have some documents which say they have the rights, but they don't see He-Man as a lucrative enough property toywise to be worth doing anything with it since there's a chance there will be legal fees to prove ownership in court.
It's not "they don't have the rights."
It's "they're pretty sure they have the rights, but they would need to pay court fees to prove it, and the last couple of attempts to do something with He-Man made them decide the property's not worth the effort any more."
Does anybody have a PDF for Origin of a Hero?
I wasn't surprised this was the direction they'd take Hordak in the moment Noelle confessed her favorite episode of the OG series was Flowers for Hordak.
It needs and encryption key, apparently.
go to the original post then
archived.moe
Thanks.
Oh durr. Cheers mate.
Mattel still isn't investing into the toys for this show.
Plus Netflix is dying, and this show won't save it.
And what makes you think he feels emotions like a normal person? Guys like him not only aren't ready for love, they might never be.
He clearly feels something, and he started feeling something for Entrapta pretty damn fast the moment she showed an ounce of compassion for him.
Entrapta also seems to have some trouble with normal human interaction, so they're perfectly suited to be awkward dorks with each other.
This ship is unsinkable.
>You have to let go, Adora
Frustrated female best friend goes evil is probably my favorite trope in the last years. They are much more interesting than the protagonist. As a fellow failure, it is very easy to sympathise with them
Nope, Mattel and CN would simply need to bring back and continue the 2002 He-Man from where the superior Hordak was introduced.
>that knee
I like both the retarded OG Hordak and the emo new Hordak
Someone on Yea Forums said that Netflix cracked down on tumblrtard creators and assigned an experienced editor to this shit, so now it has a real plot instead of being a dumping ground for some SJW's LGBTWTFBBQ shit
The problem is that heroes are too stale, when was the last time the good guy had a motivation outside of the established plot to defeat the bad guy for the good of the universe? It doesn't help that a hero going on a quest for revenge gets labeled an anti-hero. Heroes are too narrowly defined and it makes them boring.
I like 2002 He-Man in general but I just can't get over how fucking tiny King Grayskull's head was
Should I go to Power-con?
He's a big guy.
Also I just wished CN and Mattel didn't give up so soon in the 2000's.
>Entrapta has Scorpia and Hordak bots in her “perfect world”
Cute!
I like the little detail about Catra not being there, because Entrapta subconsciously knows who betrayed her.
Kyle is Skeletor
Just how fucked is Catra?
>Entrapta probably don't like her any more
>Scorpia have seen her worst
>Adora is done trying to reach out to her
>Hordak will destroy her if/when he finds out that she lied
>Shadow Weaver don't care aobut her
>The Cadets are loyal to Hordak
>The Crimson Wasters seems like they are only loyal to whoever is the strongest
I would fight and die for her but that isn't much i guess.
The only alliance she has at the moment is Hordak, who's willing to throw her away over nothing. If he learns from anyone what she's been doing, and specifically what she did to Entrapta (which a lot of people will know by now), she's totally fucked.
She's completely self destructed at this point. She'll most likely try to involve herself with Prime, if he shows up.
Nice
so this is the kind of show SU fans like to watch
makes a lot of sense
Bing-go, except I don't even want to even try and pirate this.hot mess, I just want porn of the plant chick
Nice
She was always this fucked. It just took a while for it to become apparent. There's no way she was just going to get over fifteen or so years of Shadow Weaver, especially after SW seemed to suddenly be forgiven of all wrongdoing by the people she actually wanted to be with.
Young witch Evilyn and older, sugar daddy Skeletor art when?
Calling it now:
In all future iterations of MOTU, the 2002 version of Hordak will now be "Horde Prime" and the "proper" Hordak who leads the troops from the Fright Zone will be the cloned, not-really-that-bad nuHordak
I don't think He-Ra will ever get that far..
Kind of interesting how Hordak relies on tech whereas Skeletor, his disciple, prefers magic
Honestly, I've never liked the Skeletor/Hordak dynamic for this very reason.
I like the idea of The Evil Horde being a straight bio-technological science based kind of group, it makes them more distinct and unique from what Skeletor is doing.
I think the rivalry needs to exist, but not the history.
And Shadow Weaver should be a stand alone villain for that very reason too. Maybe she might ally with Hordak, but not be subservient to, or wear the Horde emblem
So SW’s just playing everyone like a damn fiddle right
Then how does King Hiss factor in?
at this point she's pretty much the lone adult surrounded by a bunch of emotionally compromised lesbians, it'd be odd if she didn't
>talking shit about frank welker
>youtube.com
King Hiss hardly ever factors into anything anyway.
I'd say you can just leave him as he is....an ancient evil who, when he awakes, quickly makes a partnership with Skeletor because he can't cut it on his own
I imagine she's still self serving. Her character is mainly that. Remember that her original goal was supposedly to stop Hordak, yet she just ended up joining him.
The only two things she really cares about are fulfilling her desire for more power and knowledge, and maybe her desire to see her "daughters" emulate her. Anything else is just the road leading to those two things.
Frank Wlker was Megatron, not Skeletor
You know Horde Prime was always a thing.
my bad then, Welker managed to replicate perfectly with galvatron
>youtube.com
I do, but I'm saying that Horde Prime will get a much more prominent role in the franchise....he will get Hordak's normal role in the series, so that they can keep the new Hordak without folks whining that they don't have a "Biggest Bad" anymore.
Horde Prime will be the guy who fought King Greyskull in Preternia
Horde Prime will be Skeletor's benefactor
Horde Prime will be the guy who when he shows up, everyone craps their pants and has to team up
Hordak will be the failed clone who kidnaps Adora
Hordak will run his little operation out of the Fright Zone, get redeemed, and probably join the "Let's stop Horde Prime" gang
Then Skeletor will be the guy who punks Horde Prime (as he usually does to Hordak)
That's what I'm suggesting will happen.
The only person not buying her Kool-Aid is Castaspella, so I'm assuming SW will try to isolate her from the rest of the rebellion.
Hordak meeting Horde Prime will be like the younger brother that the small town family thought was gay returning with the hot gf after he went to live his dreams of being a artist on California
>Then Skeletor will be the guy who punks Horde Prime
NYEH-EH-EH! I REPLACED YOUR GLUTEN-FREE CEREAL WITH THE MOST SUGARY CHOCOLATE CHUNK CRAP EVER MADE!
>Skeletor runs off
They should hire the artist who made the right image.
>Adora is done trying to reach out to her
>Two (three?) half assed tries whitout Adora really examining her own faults is all Catra gets.
Great doing Adora.
Stopped watching after season 1
are the princess still horrible people?
>"No one will be left behind!"
>leaves the autistic princess for dead
>Hordak towers over nearly everyone in the show and is pushing at least 7 1/2 feet, if not an even 8 feet.
>Horde Prime is still a head taller than Hordak
>And then, Horde Prime looks even bulkier
I really dread the day Horde Prime get's to see his "little brother" once again. It will not be a good day for him because I'm sure as fuck HP will belittle Hordak as soon as he sees him.
>yfw we learn SW has been on a deep cover mission to sabotage the Horde for 30 years
>yfw you realize that's why efficiency went up with Catra as force captain despite her not even knowing how to requisition armor for her squadrons
>yfw the only one she told about this was Micah
>yfw we find she staged Micah's death and he's actually been on his own secret mission to get to Eternia
>yfw you realize he sent Adora through Hordak's portal after giving SW explicit instructions to watch out for her
>yfw everything has gone exactly as planned and SW turns out to be the savior of Etheria
Well shit, just caught up with the latest season. There's so much stuff coming out recently that I actually have a Yea Forums backlog. The show is finally worth a damn for more than nostalgic waifubait.
Also, I forgot about Shadow Weaver, she's a great character. Hordak and Entrapta also got some nice development and Hordak Prime found Etheria from the pulse emitted by his defective clone's failed portal device as a teaser at the end of the final episode of the season.
You're damn right she is. That's just who Shadow Weaver is, even before she merged with the Obtainment spell demon.
Also, here's a sad Hordak, because that's what he's good at now.
Well, she is the smartest person in Etheria and is usually too oblivious to be intimidated by things, so Hordak's bluster doesn't work on her.
She's an autist and Hordak's an autist. Like attracts like and she just gets him.
I think Hordak is the kind of person who get angry rather than sad
>I just want porn of the plant chick
Wanting to please Prime is probably a trait shared by all the clones. Barring Entrapta redeeming him and making him reject Prime, he'd probably be happy with whatever off-handed remark Prime makes about "impressive work for a failure." Hordak is manically consumed with wanting to prove his worth to Prime.
Catra was never close to that, scorpia was
>Horde Prime backhand compliments Hordak the entire time
>Everyone sees it for what it is
>Hordak himself is on cloud 9 and is happy to see his brother even acknowledge him in any capacity
Well, that's just depressing.
>Nice army.....for a idiot
>thanks bro,luv u
They should get Mark Hammil to voice Skeletor here
Sure.
From the start. Stop shilling.
>Just how fucked is Catra?
Not very.
>Entrapta probably don't like her any more
Entrapta's to autistic to care and might be sent away.
>Scorpia have seen her worst
Scorpia's too thirsty to give up now.
>Adora is done trying to reach out to her
Agreed, Catra or a third party acting on Catra's best interests will have to extend a branch.
>Hordak will destroy her if/when he finds out that she lied
Who will tell him? And Catra's already pissed off Hordak before to the same level and survived.
>Shadow Weaver don't care about her
True. But I have an odd feeling that SW and Catra will ended up trapped in a cave or building one episode and be forced to resolve issues. I'll bet on it.
>The Cadets are loyal to Hordak
Debatable, Hordak is too into himself to care enough to order them around; Shadow Weaver is gone; the only other figure around who's given them orders is love sick on Catra
>The Crimson Wasters seems like they are only loyal to whoever is the strongest
They're also easy to manipulate which is Catra's strong point.
Watch it again. The implication is pretty strong that she walked into the interrogation with Adora mulling over the possibility of just living in the Waste, heard that Shadow Weaver had gone to Adora, and walked out thinking "whatever the fuck Adora doesn't want me to do, I'm going to do it. I don't fucking care about anything else except making HER lose."
Not to be rude, but honestly the new show kinda makes me appreciate that the He-Man reboot was... not that good. 2002 Hordak was bombastic and eeevil, but... eh, I don't really care about his fate? Even without a final season, I know how it ends: he's defeated, good guys win, the end.
Good guys will win in the new show, but the twists and turns promise to be more interesting.
netflix is dying?
Recently lost a chunk of subs, more competition is popping up, has always spent more money than it makes, etc
yes. the era of infinite money borrowing is over.
What's that?
Keep in mind that Catra is so angry at this moment that she doesn't care if she gets punished, as long as the horde fleet arrives and conquers all of Eternia and ends this whole thing. After finding out that her mother figure still ain't caring about her, all Catra wants is to see Eternia burn, subjugated, razed, enslaved, whatever.
Y'know. At that moment, I thought she'd found happiness.
More of jacket and distorted Catra is always welcomed. Especially art.
I suspect there's a bit of "the sky is falling" here.
Yes, competition is springing up... but most of the competition is shite. Disney is going to be splitting its properties between Hulu and Disney+, which is just competing with itself, and I'm skeptical about any of the other options aside from Prime. And people are frankly getting pissed at the greed of every company going "me too!" and launching their own service.
Netflix isn't the only service any more, but I don't see it dying any more than I see Dreamworks dying.
glimmer is basically just pathetic to the point she could go in any direction if someone promised intimacy or whatever.
I'm going to Power Con (the He-Man convention... I'm helping a friend sell some toys and other merch).
There's going to be a panel with the She-Ra writers.
What're some good questions I should try to ask?
Not stupid shit we'll find out anyway like "what's going to happen?" but stuff about thought process, themes, what they were thinking when they wrote, etc.
I want them to make Skeletor a sort of 2nd tier "rogue" or whatever.
basically a dork who's "evil plans" never really come to fruition, and who basically thinks he's the main antagonist despite there being an actually evil big-bad waiting in the wings.
Ask them if Entrapta is their self-insert character or staff favorite, because for a side character, she is quite well integrated and elemental in the plot, and has quite a good and focused characterization.
There's not going to be any new He-Man for a loooong ass time because the rights are a mess, sorting it out would cost money, and the last few attempts to make money off of He-Man were a disaster.
It's literally not worth the effort for them to make new He-Man.
I would want Hordak redemption before Catra redemption.
well that obvious, but if there's any Masters-of-the-Universe/He-Man related stuff they shouldn't have skeletor as the main antagonist simply it's better to have him as a comic relief villian.
I don’t know why no one does techno-barbarians. It’s not like a barbarian king living in a skull castle with an arch nemesis Lich is a copyrightable setting.
Maybe some questions around the First One's language and the easter eggs they've put in episodes like Hordak's amulet that Entrapta gave him saying "loved", maybe asking if there are any more that the viewers may have missed, if they have fun putting easter eggs in episodes, etc.
Also definitely questions about call-backs to the old show.
An entire convention dedicated to MOTU?
This franchise must be a lot more beloved than I thought it was.
>it's not he-man and skeletor it's him-guy and the boneinator you can't sue us for infringement.
You reminded me of this.
I am Ajax, Prince of Foreveria, Defender of the Secrets of the Cranium Castle
This is Kourage, my fearless friend.
Fabulous, secret powers were revealed to me the day I held aloft my magic sword and said: "By the Capacity of Cranium!"
I have the capacity!
Kourage became the mighty Cat-o-war, and I became Him-guy, the most manly guy in the Multiverse!
Only three others share this secret...
Our friends the Witcheress, Kingsman, and Urdu.
Together we defend the Cranium Castle
From the evil forces of The Boneinator!
Horde Prime is gonna have to rape princesses or something to make room for a Catra redemption. She was willing to destroy reality just to spite Adora, this is a very bad kitty.
I mean, "HAVE WE MENTIONED THE GAY PEOPLE" is somewhat implicit when half the cast
Is gay and the other half is possibly gay. Even characters who canon had hetero sex may only be doing it for reasons of royal lineage or title.
Personally I'm just annoyed by the people saying Seahwak isn't gay. If he can get hitched to Mermista then he's OFFICIALLY King of the Sea and everyone is legally obligated to call him that.
Don’t forget Galtar and the Golden Lance.
Child soldier abused by a selfish maniac. Just do a montage of the shit she put up with as a kid, interspersed with her crying in the present. Boom, sympathy.
Sea Hawk isn't gay. Sea Hawk and Mermista are a straight couple... as written by gay people that want to make a likable straight couple.
There are Gargoyles conventions. You don't need to be massive to get a con.
No. The man is the gayest character in the show and has something to gain from having a beard.
Was there any mandates?
Gayer than the literal gay dads? Nah.
I wish they had more/any cute interactions in season 3
Despite how amazing the "you made me this way" scene where corrupted Catra is fighting Adora through the shattering false reality, I don't think we've reached the nadir of her descent into true evil. I'm p. sure she's gonna kill Shadow Weaver, steal the mask and unlock her beast form from the original series.
youtube.com
I want a good voice actor for He-man in season 4
Who can voice him?
Sea Hawk exudes bisexual energy
No one. They're not doing He-Man because they want She-Ra to be master of her own destiny.
Seahawk has two loves in his life:
Adventure
Mermista
>when half the cast Is gay and the other half is possibly gay
When you start seeing gay everywhere, and start checking for gays under the bed and in the closet, it's time to start questioning your own sexuality.
Even Hordak and Entrapta look like they're an awkward couple now. Are you some sort of paranoid Russian?
>start checking for gays under the bed and in the closet
Well, yeah, in the closet is the first place to look for gay people
Fund it
I would legit watch this
Sounds like an Adult Swim spoof.
Get the Robot Chicken and/or Korgoth guys guys on this
That's the only type of Russian left, isn't it?
It's funny, because rewatching the series I think Adora - for all her holding out her hand and saying she gets what Shadow Weaver did - never DID appreciate what Catra had to do to win.
When they first go through the training simulator, and Catra is "late" (actually hiding because she can only win through stealth), Adora groans and complains.
When Catra is sending robots to attack the Whispering Woods, Adora goes "typical Catra."
When Catra does a sneak attack and takes a prisoner? "That's so like you."
But, like... that's the only fucking way she can win. No Princess powers. No teleportation. No ability to turn into an 8 foot tank-tossing juggernaut. She has to be a sneak to stand a hope of winning against these freaking overpowered born-with-magic freakazoids she's up against.
Not all cons are Comic Con tier. There’s a bunch around here that can fit into a gym, I love the smaller ones
He is 6.34 decafags gayer than Bow's big gay dads by my math.
Ask if they have certain philosophies when writing the characters. Adora is a rather compassionate person despite growing up in a society that sees them all as disposable pawns, is rather cutthroat and having a mother that shows clear abuse, but Catra is using those exact reasons to justify her actions. Nature vs. Nurture I guess.
>She has to be a sneak to stand a hope of winning against these freaking overpowered born-with-magic freakazoids she's up against.
The original Catra could use sorcery. I'm thinking she'll get some kind of upgrade and may even be Horde Prime's anti-She-Ra key to reaching Etheria due to her contact with the void.
Small cons are great despite lacking the resources for some of the spectacle and huge announcements you get at major ones. The panelists willing to show up without getting a massive paycheck usually genuinely love interacting with fans and get much more casual and loose than at heavily press-covered cons.
>The guy that has to be pried off his girl with a crowbar is clearly gay
Sure, user. Sure. Anyone with a flair for the dramatic is gay. Just look at Errol Flynn, who definitely didn't bone his way through half the women in Hollywood.
She was definitely thinking about it but I don't think she was close, she has daddy issues with hordak after all, not just her mommy and sister issues
At the risk of using buzzwords, small cons have soul. You can talk for hours to the VA of some background character, get just as good merch, and dedicated fans still travel there...and fewer lines.
just imagine their hate sex
The only canonical gay people are bow's two dads, you can go back to /pol/ now
Tumblr killed Netflix.
Try Grindr, moron
great place to start cosplaying too. I never would’ve gotten into it without tiny cons in my flyover state.
>flair for the dramatic
He is wearing a corsage, and his earrings match his belt. He's almost definitely wearing make up. He has more jewelry than the girls, user.
If Seahawk isn't gay, how do they dress to find each other in a bar?
The guys on that keep turning out to be just after me for my organs... and not in a sexy way.
Nobody said Seahawk being gay was morally wrong. I merely insist that if you don't think Seahawk is gay, you're objectively wrong.
Adora, Catra, and Scorpia are about as canonically lesbian as you can possibly get without explicitly saying the word "lesbian"
On top of all the Catradora teasing scenes, you have Adora lusting after Huntara similar to how Star lusted after Brunhilda (Star is canonically bi), and you have Scorpia's "I can't believe I'm stuck in the closet with you" line.
There's also Noelle's autistic self-insert Spinnerella/Netossa pairing.
But yes, there are plenty of straight ships.
Hot
>yfw you realize that's why efficiency went up with Catra as force captain despite her not even knowing how to requisition armor for her squadrons
Didn't even notice that oh...
>He is wearing a corsage, and his earrings match his belt.
Pirates are gay now?
It's a world with a flourishing fashion industry, and the gays aren't the only ones allowed look good.
>Someone on Yea Forums said that Netflix cracked down on tumblrtard creators and assigned an experienced editor to this shit, so now it has a real plot instead of being a dumping ground for some SJW's LGBTWTFBBQ shit
By all accounts Noelle is getting very little in the way of meddling from Dreamworks.
To review:
Svtfoe: Disney meddled non-stop, all the way from the pitch onward. Turned to shit.
Voltron: Not a lot of meddling, but multiple people in the driver's seat that didn't agree on where things should go.
Gravity Falls: Single showrunner, good amount of censorship but creator was given the reins to decide where things should go.
She-Ra: Single showrunner, given the reins to decide where things should go.
Turns out it's not whether something is SJW or not that makes things good, it's whether you've got a competent writer in charge with a clear vision of where the story should go.
Catra was raised from childhood as a soldier, knew how to talk to them to get respect and results and is fully dedicated to Hordak's cause. SW was an outcast academic who lead through fear of her sorcery that fostered insubordination and had her own machinations and goals in play.
I believe that was with another show not this one. For me the show has gotten more sjw as it goes on.
Bigger do you think Blackbeard accessorized and carefully managed his hair? No, because unlike Seahawk he actually sailed places and had Scurvy. The man wore matches in his beard and his breath probably smelled like necrosis and hard tack.
>People keep meming that only the bad guys are interesting, but Adora is unironically one of my favorite protagonists, especially female protagonists, in a long time.
Stevenson expressed frustration that the original cartoon had Adora's origin be "she was raised by the evil army" but if you jumped into a random episode you wouldn't know it. She made a point of trying to write a good and moral character that was groomed to be a child soldier from the No Fun Allowed Empire.
Pirates were known for wearing expensive clothing and jewelry and even wearing wigs pillaged from wealthy travelers who wore them when they were en vogue. Having swanky swag and not being afraid to show it off was a sign of one's prowess at piracy and respect or fear from the pirate community.
>weeks at sea with an all-male crew
It’s gay or nothing
OG Shadow Weaver was hot
Just like my MMOs!
>all male crew
Not a problem in this universe. Hell, they probably won't even all be human. Might have a slime or beastperson in there or something! Maybe a talking fish, who knows?
Haha, yeah, can you imagine going weeks without sex??
That man is wearing MEN'S clothing that he stole from wealthy people (or got from Queen Elizabeth) and you can't tell me this image depicts a man who knew how to accessorize.
Sea Hawk is wearing a fucking crop top jacket. That's not just gay, that's bottom gay.
>that OG outifit
muh dick
>when was the last time the good guy had a motivation outside of the established plot to defeat the bad guy for the good of the universe?
I mean, just for comparison-
Voltron heroes: Find out about bad guys, try to stop them.
TMNT Rise Heroes: Find out about bad guys, try to stop them.
Transformers Heroes: Found out about bad guys a while ago, still trying to stop them.
Trollhunters Heroes: Found out about bad guys, try to stop them
Superhero show Heroes: Found out about bad guys, try to stop them.
She-Ra: Found out SHE was the bad guy, trying to stop the other bad guys while apologizing for being on the wrong side, also trying to save/redeem/not-hurt-too-much the other schmucks that were indoctrinated on the side of evil.
It could be more nonstandard, but still puts a twist on things.
If you want a protagonist that runs into villains but doesn't actually give a shit about stopping villains, I guess there's Rick and Morty.
Hey, thanks for the downlow. Not sure I'll humor it, but if I have nothing better to do I might give it a try.
I'm sure Disney didn't make Nefcy write herself into such an awful corner. That one's completely on her.
You also have
Gravity Falls: Bill was a side note in comparison to Dipper's interest in solving mysteries
Avatar: Aang had to defy the advice of the avatars to find a way to defeat Ozai without taking life
Ehhhhhhhhhhhh. There's definitely blame to go around. Never forget, she showed up with the pitch "how about a scatterbrained preteen that likes to imagine herself as a Magic Girl fighting magical monsters?" and Disney went "make her really magical, the monsters are real, and also she's a teenager for romance reasons."
Nefcy sucked at romance and couldn't come up with a satisfying end to a high fantasy story... but she didn't pitch romance or a high fantasy story. Just zany preteen girl hijicks more along the lines of Pepper Ann mixed with some Muppet Babies "wow, what an imagination!"
Steven Universe: Half and half (Stopping the Diamonds is good for the universe, but they themselves are part of the system). Also the familial connection.
>Transformers Heroes: Found out about bad guys a while ago, still trying to stop them.
Wait are you referring to the Humans or the Autobots?
>At the risk of using buzzwords, small cons have soul
It's not just you
npr.org
Eh, either works I guess. Depending on which version of Transformers we're talking about, it's either "we now join the war, already in progress" or "we just found out about bad guys trying to restart the war!" for the Transformers themselves. And the humans always get dragged in, clueless.
>109157857
sea hawk should've been played by a woman doing a bad "male voice",
he looks like a chick.
Already been down in the Pirates! Band of Misfits movie.
Did you know lesbian relationships have the highest % of domestic violence, even beating out black male / white female?
Yes, although older studies had the exact opposite finding, with lesbian relationships having the lowest %. Which means either (1) the older studies were flawed (2) the newer studies were flawed (3) all the studies have been flawed, or (4) domestic violence has risen in that particular group markedly.
Could be any of them! Or a mix! Fucking soft sciences.
It's because there were fewer angry butch lesbians in the old studies. They are a modern-ish phenomenon.
It's easy when you ignore things like consistency and realism and good writing.
I'm gunna ask the dumb shit then
What dumb ass question should I ask Yea Forums?
Wow user, do you have any truths you wanna reveal to the entire world?
Ask if the princesses are actually going to do shit.
Many, but you are not ready for the Deep Truths, user.
Hey, how long has Hordak been on Etheria anyway? The original Princess Alliance had Glimmer and Mermista's parents in it, so it was fighting the Horde a generation ago, but how far back does the Horde itself go?
If you want to be the requisite dumbass, just go with any "what's going to happen with ____" and nod sagely when the reply is "wait and see."
I'll have you know that Sea Hawk burns his ships because he can.
...I mean, if we're both going we could try to increase the odds of decent questions by both trying to ask one. They probably won't let anyone ask more than one. But if you want to be stupid you can, I guess.
Maybe 20~30 years?
Micah was a kid when they first arrived, and it looks like he in his 30s or 40s when he 'died'
Ask about how they determine time since it seems like there are multiple moons and suns and stuff.
He's a sea captain you dumb nigger, of course he's got to show off all the booty he's found
>eh
FUCK NEFCY AND FUCK MAGIC HITLER
At least a generation, probably not longer. The princess alliance probably cropped up because the scorpeople got conquered and their runestone captured, and then during the battle where Micah “died”, there were probably huge losses for everyone and no leader to hold the alliance together. I imagine part of the reason was that the princess are more powerful near their runestones, so everyone decided they were better off not getting their princess killed where she could defend herself as well as she otherwise could.
My favorite running gag is the black humor of Horde Soldiers finding out just how shitty their lives were.
Adora not knowing wtf a party is.
Adora trying to hide that she has no idea what an aunt is, hoping to figure it out from context clues.
Adora not able to sleep on a bed that's COMFORTABLE.
Catra and Scorpia also not knowing wtf a party is.
Yeah well let me know when ANY of those characters gets into an actual lesbian relationship and I'll update the short list. PS just because 2 women are in a close relationship or even in a physically flirty relationship does not necessarily mean they are lesbians.
Wow fake pirates look different from real actual pirates, tell me more oh wait I don't care because this is a sea captain with an image based on prior art, which includes wearing frilly shirts and jewelry
>less sex with comparable physical strengths
It was inevitable
>Do you think we'll get another flashback into Hordak's past
Hordak was shaken by something he saw in his "prefect" world. We're definitely getting a closer look at his past.
Actually based answer, dating out of desperation is common in lesbian spaces.
>T.a dyke
of all the evil things catra did, possibly destroying this OTP was the worst, hopefully they can reconcile once hordak finds out it was all catras fault.
More like
t. a terrible larper
Most likely what will happen, I don't think any baddie but Catra and the Horde teen squad will it. Certainly not Shadow Weaver and Hordak. They've done too much damage.
My money is on Scorpia unintentionally letting the truth slip.
It's gonna be a bad day for Catra when that happens.
Everytime they said it in the cartoon I would always hear "The evil whore"
Nice!
>I just want porn of the plant girl
Based, she's cute.
No cute ships, but he has Evil-Lyn and sometimes uses Shadow Weaver as a side-ho.
>Angela! Angela wait! I'm lo-
Locked up? lost? He's not dead, that's for sure.
Pretty sure in the classic MOTU comics and in the Mike Young stuff Hordak has always been a wizard. It's just the Filmation cartoon and the comics based on them plus Netflix She-Ra where he is a scientist/technopath.
Then there was the DC comic where he had both tech and magic.
that's where you're wrong.
Don't think they will touch MOTU but yes it looks like Horde Prime will get the regular evil Hordak role.
>Hordak will be the failed clone who kidnaps Adora
More like he opened a portal and a trash baby appeared. He decided to pick it up and take it home but then the novelty wore off pretty quickly.
I want this, please dyke overlords make it so
This is from one of the people who worked on the Netflix She-Ra show and the one who designed Hordak's look.
>He looks kinda hot like that
Oh no
>made even skeletor scared.
Lol, Skeletor's greed and lust for power overpowers even his fears.
Skeletor will be a twink too
Boo, Skeletor needs to be a hunk.
they actually address this and entrapta actually goes all "well, still fuck you for not trying to call"
AT BEST he'll be a twunk
Horde Prime will be the real hunk.
>twunk
t. Dennis
She's fatter than that.
Imma leave this here
youtube.com
It's her summer body
Not really fat at all, just pleasantly plump.
THICK THIGHS SAVE LIVES
Hordy and Entrapta are gonna make up, right?
Good post
Make up and make out if you catch my drift
If they weren't fucking before they will be after they reunite.
Out of context it makes it seem like a baby betrayed him.
>"The hallway will lock down and anything caught in the purge will be incinerated so don't fuck around"
>Entrapta fucks around and gets locked in
>Flames
>???
>Entrapta magically escaped and survived
so the hallways with about 5 airlocks can be bypassed by just...crawling through a vent? Is that how she did it? Did they ever explain how she lived?
she just got out by a hair
No.
That's just because they are the ones most likely to be reported.
How is he winking?
So, Is Adora into big, muscular girls? Catra never stood a chance.
MAGIC.
Magic
Do you think that, when she is home all alone, she gets in front of a mirror, transforms into She-ra, strips and starts flexing.
Actually, I think Adora's "type" is "Commanding." She's looking for someone that's got CONFIDENCE.
So yeah, Catra never stood a chance.
...I mean, wouldn't you?
Magicmind.
