This makes me happy, because i have a powerful pet peeve about fan versions of characters who do not resemble the source material at all becoming THE most popular portrayal of a character in fan art.
Bigdad is the biggest perpetrator of that, having already turned Gaz and Pacifica into huge half a ton large ass-and-tit monstrosities that are borderline unrecognizable as their origin characters.

It is inherently a little discouraging that this is going to Netflix. if there was potential for a full-on revival, I cannot see Nick wanting it to go to Netflix. I'm a little confused why this is not going to Hulu, actually. Viacom owns a stake in Hulu still, right? The Zim Series is hosted on Hulu already.
