To be fair to Reggie, she rarely makes the same mistakes twice. She's just unlucky in that she's in a TV show where the stakes are always getting emotionally higher and she crumbles when she finds herself in unknown territory in terms of relationships.

One example is her stance on teachers. After that episode, we see that another teacher ends up being a really supportive figure for her when her key breaks in EP 17.

Also, the lame teacher is still lame, but she doesn't hold that against him personally anymore in the dance episode.

The story of you average Yea Forums user :
You're one of Reggie 's friends and one of the few ones she trusts with knowing about Endless Island. Until one day, when you meet Buttwitch and your dick just decides to go crazy. She throws you a flower in order to tease you.
A few minutes later,you hear screams. Reggie along with other Endless Island inhabitants are coming to tell you that Buttwitch has hurt Pretty Please and that she needs to be punished. Pretty Please is crying in pain after being injured by BW.
Twelve trusts you to kill Buttwitch, which you agree you to do at first.
You tie up BW and scold her for what she's done (in a serious way). You are about to shoot her with your superpowers (this is your main ability on the island) when suddenly, she starts singing "Sweet Transvestite" in her sultry irresistible voice. You're beyond charmed and you let her free.
Twelve sees this and gets mad at you and thus she bans you from entering her island ever again.
One month later and you can only think about the lovely Butt Witch - your lovely waifu. You can't stand at the thought of never being able to see her again. But that would mean going back to Endless again - which you can't do - because Reggie banned you from doing so. There has to be a way...
Part 2 coming soon

Part 2 :
You somehow manage to steal Reggie 's key to Endless while she was sleeping and thus you break into Endless - where you meet your Buttwitch - and she's sexier than ever. She's pole dancing for a couple of other Endless inhabitants, trying to ruin their innocence and bring them to oust for her as well. Then,a much more attractive and cooler guy arrives on Endless. He flirts with BW but she just mocks him.
Then you go to BW and confess her your love. She walks with you into the wooden area of the island where she starts flirting with you and removing her suit. As you're watching mesmerized, you remember that break is over and that you have to go to class now. You tell her so but she just snaps at you and fakes that she's in pain because of you turning her down like that. You try to explain to her that you're going to be late for class and that your will be back nonetheless.
She snaps at you again and tells you that she will no longer love you unless you break up your friendship with Twelve and drop out of school for her.

Ok, so I just finished watching the series. I thought it was pretty fun. The most interesting parts were the discoveries that Endless has a dark side. The only thing that did bother me quite a bit was Reggie and her friendship with Esther and Todd. I honestly can't see what really keeps them together, due to Reggie's literal childish personality. They continue to hang out with her, despite Reggie's selfishness. I wish that it didn't take until the very last episode for Reggie to sort of learn from her mistakes. There's a lot of potential for her to grow, so if there's ever a second season, that's what I would hope for. As of now, Reggie is hard to like.

On an off note, my favorite character is Tasty Troy.

I take part of the gang's initial attraction to Eleven was the fact she allowed access to Endless. By there, they were able to grow to like her.

I agree, even though I like all of the characters, Reggie's dynamic with her two buddies is sort of weird how they don't give her much consequence to her shitty immature attitude until towards the end. Especially with the school dance when Reggie freaks out and wants to leave, Todd does stand up to her and refuse to go, but Esther sort of just falls behind her and doesn't really acknowledge that it was wrong until later on.

I could see it more if this villain would want to flat out destroy Endless, which would come into conflict with the Witch's desires, who probably wouldn't want to rule over the ashes.

What if turns out that the Butt Witch is like some kind of cosmic counter-balance entity in Endless? Like, yeah, she horrible, but like how death is in our world, she's needed there, because otherwise, Endless would suffer something worse.

I think it would be less the immature villain wanting to destroy Endless, and more wanting to trap Reggie in Endless. Because Reggie escapes into Endless periodically because she's still not grown up, so once she starts to grow and mature and maybe feel like she needs Endless less, then that would be motivation for the bigger villain to keep her there, since the island really seems to love her.

The islander characters are lame, and most of the humor was cringy, but I got some Adventure Time vibes; like "yes, it's cute and funny, but some dark shit is happening in the background" and yes, endless is a pretty fucked up place; later that's developed. The island is a pretty interesting place, after its rules are given children turn into wacky islanders if they stay there too much time. Reggie's lesbian crush is more like she showed affection torward her, while barely anyone has showed that before instead of forced lesbian drama (like some magic space rock show that I don't want remember now) so I really like it.

It's okay if you want to drop it, but the show is doing things that I haven't seen in other shows before. The show's moral is not "just be yourself" instead it's "you have to mature you like it whether or not" and Reggie is shows like a inmature annoying child while other similars cartoons (take Bee and Puppycat for instance) shows the same character archetype like "it's okay to be lolsorandom UwU" and I think that the strongest point in the show.

I liked Adventure Time when it came out. I knew there was probably some more things in the background, but on the surface I liked it. The surface of Twelve Forever is mostly shit I don't like, so I don't really want to dig any deeper. Aside from Butt Witch, the opening theme and the general premise, there's not much going for it, but replacing Shane with 2 brown kids and making Reggie a lesbian/bicurious really shows it's being made by the same kinds of people that turned Adventure Time to shit.

Ok, after lots of procrastinating, getting bored and doing something else, I've finally seen episode 17 and 18. I think I've also figured out how to articulate what exactly it is I hate about the show. At first I thought it was because with the first episode I wasn't sure if everything that happens in the Endless Island was even real because it was really easy to assume Reggie just chose to give-up everything for the garage sale, just keeping drawings of the things she had and trying to keep them in her memories/imagination. But with episode 17 and 18 it was like pulling teeth watching except for the flashbacks. That's when it hit me, the Endless Island bits are the only part of the show that's enjoyable. It's a fun idea coat of paint over a painfully dull coming-of-age tween drama story. It's another Steven Universe.
