I've liked some of his work, but there have been plenty of other good writers (Claremont's run on X-Men for example) who have worked on those titles and who have told better stories.

I've been broke for so long with shitty medical bills and student loans, but I finally got a good job and just bought Absolute Batman Inc, rounding out my collection of Morrison's Batman. I don't give a fuck what anyone says about him, he's my favorite writer and his stories will always hold a special place in my heart.

He hasn't really talked about the show. I'm having a hard time finding it, to the point that I think I may have imagined it, but the only public comment he made was something in the vein of "I haven't watched it, but I wish them the best of luck."

They really have short memories. Barely last year, when he got Royals cancelled and IH was starting, people were like "this book is pretty good and very underrated, too bad it will be cancelled at #11 or #12 again", and when #13 dropped, they tried to push the "get woke go broke" argument with it.
NOW THE TABLES HAVE TURNED.
