You have a very odd definition of comfy and/or wholesome.

not him, but pretty much everything in there is comfy

'Good' and 'comfy' don't mean the same thing, user. Courage the Cowardly Dog is really fucking good but its very rarely comfy.

>courage the cowardly dog isn't comfy

I said it was 'rarely comfy'. Not that it was never comfy.

Only OTGW, old Ducktales, and Moomins fit the standard comfy paradigm

Nailed it. Don't forget Hilda too.

That's sentimental, but not comfy
Playing to your emotions and making your feel better are similar, but this scene is more heartwarming and tearjerking
Comfy is getting home and smelling pie and your mom lets you taste some of the leftover filling before dinner
Comfy is baking cookies and eating pizza with your friends that you're having overnight for the first time
Comfy is staying up all night reading and it turns out your parents let you sleep in because it's a snowday
Comfy is about feeling safe and warm and like your heart doesn't need anything else

bland =/= comfy

The junkyard episodes (especially the first one) really have that feeling for sure.

My favorite scene in all of Samurai Jack is where he just wanders into a tavern to get out of the rain and makes some tea to drink in front of the fireplace before assassins show up.

Season 1, yeah.

Literally everything after the introduction of Jasper and Lapis turns the show into a wanna-bee action cartoon that manages to never be an action cartoon. It started out comfy, and ended up feeling try hard.

Winnie the Pooh.
Boom. Done.

Yes.
