What are you tired of seeing in comic books?
What do you want to see instead?

What do you want to see instead?
Crisis Events
Heroes being Heroes and doing good work
>What are you tired of seeing in comic books?
i hate how frequent events have become. not only that, but they're wide scale and involve so many characters. once it a while, i don't mind seeing that many characters interact, but it's overdone.
>What are you tired of seeing in comic books?
Universe-wide crossovers
>What do you want to see instead?
Villains allowed to be villainous, heroes who aren't from a Moore or Ennis book
>tired of seeing
for me it's KRAAKOOOOOM!!!
Constant resets, random breakups for characters that feel forced just to introduce the new writers' OCs, characters that don't make sense having a legacy mantle becoming a legacy character, events literally all the time, the need to constantly make things edgy at the weirdest times for random characters, and again CONSTANT RESETS.
If you want to fuck with the character in a way that doesn't benefit the already established characters' storyline/character progression, just make a new book that isn't tied to the new weekly. I drop books constantly because of stupid bullshit that only exists to circulate buzz online and gain a temporary sales boost.
I'm tired of heroes unable to have healthy relationships and families. Not even Aquaman and Mera are safe from editorial intervention for the sake of cheap drama
More "legacy" heroes replacing the original ones
I want to see more writers using older villains instead of adding new ones or using current ones all the time
Question; what legacy hero outright replaced a hero in the past 10 years?
>What are you tired of seeing in comic books?
SJW stuff, movie synergy, anti-continuity
People talking
Issues where nothing happen
SJW crap
Poser "art"
Fuck, give me some action with crazy art like in the sixties. Western comics don't deliver anymore and are boring, that's why kids prefer manga.
>What are you tired of seeing in comic books?
Comic books themselves.
It's time for the fucking industry to finally die off.
So basically, you just want 30 pages of nothing but pinup art with people fighting, no story behind it. Gotcha.
Capes.
Real comic books.
Elaborate
What kind of "real comic books"?
Have you noticed that OP used the term "comic books" to refer to capes? That's the problem, capes have taken over the US industry that we can only think of superhero books when we discuss comics in general.
And by "real" I simply mean comic books with good writing and good art.
LGBT bullshit and surface level diversity instead of deep level diversity
>Have you noticed that OP used the term "comic books" to refer to capes?
OP here, I'm not specifically talking about just capes, I just used that picture because Wolverine seems to be one of the things people got tired of seeing in comic books
>I'm not specifically talking about just capes
You're not, but people seem to think you are. That shows how contaminated the US industry is.
>Wolverine seems to be one of the things people got tired of seeing in comic books
Exactly.
>CAPES BAD
Well you should have supported all the non-cape comics in the 70s, 80s, and 90s then, instead of bitching and moaning about capes now.
Oh, I am. But the comics I support are not American.

But I wasn't there
Multiple Spider-Men.
Spider-Man having friends and interacting with people from other teams, instead of just spending all his time with the various spider-men.
