I vaguely remember this show only airing at like 6 in the morning
i caught it once, after an oversee family trip, before my sleep schedule got back to normal.
tried to record it a few times on vhs, but i ended up breaking it

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (676x380, 62K)

something about a bunch of orphan animal kids that lived in a run down train car in a city

Wait I just noticed this has a disney XD logo at the bottom, did they start airing it again? what about pucca?

if it wasnt because i found it on you tube i would think i imagine the whole thing

Attached: bl8FygpBV4WOzLmnK5GFSCPJqzg.jpg (780x1170, 215K)

I remember this.

>show repeats when the journey west actually begins
always pissed me off

The only episode I ever saw was the one where Tripitaka, or whatever the fuck they called him in this version of the story, learned the monkey's backstory and got him as a partner. One of the first few episodes, I assume.

Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys?

I vaguely remember this Avatar knockoff. Fire villain, elemental protagonists, one of them was a living drop of water. Computer animated.

Hold on, there's another Journey to the West cartoon (not anime)? I thought there was only the Canadian one

I don't think I have even seen anyone talj about this show, not even on Yea Forums

I remember the ZETA Project

here, I think I remember & too?

youtu.be/N1DjyP55bGg

Style looks really Klasky-Csupo-ish.

Monkey Magic was anime. It was just one of those pre-2000s anime dubs that marketed itself as a western cartoon.

Everyone remembers Zeta Project as "that one show people have to watch if they're OCD about watching every DCAU show".

this show wasn't obscure at all lol

Freaking loved the opening introduced me to the toms

I'm likely not the only one that remembers it but I've never seen it discussed on here, The animation was oddly smooth.

Attached: Lavender_Castle.jpg (288x233, 11K)

Does anybody remember a tv special with the headless horseman? I have found exactly one thing that MIGHT be what I remembered, but I'm not entirely sure if it really was, or if there was another animated sleepy hollow thing with some of the same details.

Come on op, post the theme song!

youtube.com/watch?v=uHyoTVJF5o8

Monkey Magic was badass. I watched the shit out of it at 6 AM.

I kind of remember watching it, But I don't remember what was about at all.

i miss this, i miss jetix

Lavender Castle is great, but it is really obscure.

Like I said, I never see anyone talk about it. EVER. I see no fanart or fanfictions or anything to do with a fandom so what am I supposed to think?

Pic is a new minifigure being released by lego in September for series 19 of their minifigures line. Coincidence?

Also, No. I'm not from /toy/.

This show was forgotten for a reason.

Attached: 250px-Free_for_All_Cast.jpg (250x187, 27K)

I remember this animated series (though, it may have been a TV Movie) about a Zorro-style cape and sword hero, whose design reminds me of the Daring Dragoon from Bruce Campbell’s “Jack of all Trades” (Picture), as he was dressed in colors other than black.

I have been trying to find it for who knows how long and remain unlucky.
Does it stir up any memories?

Attached: The Daring Dragoon.jpg (330x500, 41K)

Monkey Magic cancelled just before the real adventure began lul.

I had lot of VHS with this show.

Attached: IMG_20170228_205830_061.jpg (992x879, 103K)

There was this one show with colourful horses in it. It used to be pretty popular on Yea Forums but I never see threads about it anymore. Guess I'm the only one who remembers.

You mean Filly Funtasia?

It's really bad but it's also really good at times though.

I don't think it was that good of a show, but I also only saw like two episodes.

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 180K)

Bandai couldn't afford the budget. So they directed their on making an anime series on Tamagotchi's roided out cousin

Superbook or The Flying House?

Still waiting for porn of that moth/dog girl thing.

I don't care if people think it's mean-spirited. Most of the time the family got karma for picking on the dog anyway. Definitely deserved more than like 10 episodes.

>stephen spielberg and tim burton work on cartoon together

fuck i remember this

This was one of my family’s first DVDs ~20 years ago. IIRC it’s Chiname and not Anime.

The beginning part where Monkey just tears shit up and clowns on the gods is the best part anyway. Tripitaka is an annoying little bitch.

...

>this
One of the GOATs of my Childhood.

It was BCed on Jetix the same time B.I.T.C.H. was around.
That's why nobody remembers that show.

I loved this show for some reason

Poor Ratings and Budget cuts killed the show

That's nothing. We're waiting for Lady Penelope smut

Monkey magic c'mon monkey

I remember an episode where the brother got stuck on an elevator.

I only knew about this growing up from the game on ps1. I always loved that 1-up sound where it goes MONKAYYY. Loved the intro too.

Oh wow, I didn't know there was a full version of it. Awesome.

Barbara Goodson made that show.

Attached: In all her scene chewing glory.png (926x1360, 962K)

In some Asian countries(Russia, Thailand, etc) it's been airing in HD on their DisneyXD

This was my first exposure to loli nipples

Looking at Desuarchive, there's like five references to this show and I'm three of them.

Attached: AMMCMM.jpg (623x450, 36K)

Attached: Shuriken_School.png (290x360, 29K)

Oh wow,you just gave me nostalgia.
I never watched the show, but I had the game for the PlayStation.
I was wondering what it name was.

Attached: 42DlIovfFTadpuLyk5m938oHBO1.jpg (780x1170, 770K)

Any memorable episodes/scenes in Monkey Magic?

Oh I remember this one. Typical 2000s comedy school show with a theme. Still infinitely better than most school-centered shows.
I remember it being more down to earth than Mucha Lucha and infinitely better than My Gym Partner's a Monkey.
Sadly it was kinda ... mediocre. Not as bad as Casper's school, but not very brilliant either.

Great soundtrack, but serious pacing issues and extremely boring storytelling.

I sometimes have stress induced flash backs to when he zoomed to the end of the universe, graffitied the pillars at the end and when he came back to laugh buddha showed him the graffiti on was on his fingers.

A fish with boobs. Not a mermaid, mind you. Just a FISH with BOOBS.
Interesting. Don't you agree, Johnson?

Also, this was a cartoon starring the singer of Letters to Cleo. It wasn't particularly good, but the blonde guitarist was hot.

I liked capitol critters. It deserved more episodes than it got.

I only know this from the /ss/ of the boy and the mom that PBX drew

Holy shit, I remember this one!

Funkeh Kaps

> This was on Cartoon theater before kids movies

Pooples or something. One with rabbit colored critters who hopped around with bags of their own for something.

Popples, but I like your version better.

i swear that dog got run over and died in the last episode lmao

I used to adore this shit

Shiiiit I always had a faint memory of this show in my mind for 20+ years but I could never find anything about it, thanks for giving me the name.

Attached: 1550814080443.jpg (277x256, 75K)

The Original Character Design for the show was done by Susumu Matsushita. A manga with a very American cartoon inspired artstyle.

Glad to have helped. My friends didn't believe this show existed and thought I was making it up, so yeah it was some relief for me to find it too.

Is it any good?

IT WAS REAL
THIS FUCKING SHIT SHOW WAS REAL

FUCKING GOD DAMN I THOUGHT IT WAS ME MISREMEMBERING EARLY EPISODES OF DRAGON BALL BECAUSE I WAS A SHIT CHILD BUT THIS SHOW WAS REAL

Haha to be honest I almost wrote it off as a fever-dream I had while watching An American Tail.

my shit right here

What's this? The animation is pretty good.

watch my chops

says it at the end

oh shit i completely forgot about this cartoon until now.

this was a religious cartoon right?

the dog was the only reason i watched it, he was simply too cute plus the animation was good

Isn't this that show which the last episode is about him and his wife accepting death?

SOS Croco?

I remember Jack of all Trades, but have no idea what series you're talking about. Can you remember anything else?

Who could forget Action League Now!?

Check the archives. It comes up more than you'd think. Usually the opening theme or Nefer-Tina.

Maybe the scarlet pumpernickel? Idk user do you remember anything else about this show?

They had an Adam and Eve episode. The children got naked to go swimming. They only covered their crotches.

One of the main writers also went on to write The Hunger Games....

We should make a movie honoring this great concept Mr. Williams.

I love Capitol Critters.

That almost sounds like a darker version of The Get-Along Gang.

War Planets?

You made me remember The Lampies, another British cartoon. They're just so British.
youtube.com/watch?v=zfxoL0LR9IM

Believe it or not, they've already done a reboot of The Popples.

Attached: popples1.jpg (475x600, 69K)

For a cartoon that was meant to sell fancy school supplies it had interesting premise:
There's a parallel earth, where not people , but dinosaurs evolved. The weird thing is; when something happens on our planet, opposite thing happens there: when we have rains, drought happens on Dino planet, if time almost stops here, Dino's planet time goes extremely fast

Attached: image450.jpg (769x577, 51K)

Where was this from?

What episode

youtube.com/watch?v=7t11zgEd4oU&t=1s

ahh gary and mike. a friend of mine and i always say ZANZIBAR! like those black siegfried and roy replacements

it was actually good though. the random shit happening was pretty good

Nah, it was a tv show, the villain’s useless henchman was a slugman

There was a tv show with some kids/young teens and a talking tree I think in a forest and a magical water basin

Anyone know it

Shit
I remember this
Wait a sec, I'm gonna try to find it
The one with the metal monkey guy, right?

I definitely remember a monkey guy

Alright
Then it's the same show for sure
The fire guy pulls a Zuko and joins the protags to beat the real villain but I don't remember what it was

I remember this.

The attempt to expand the BEYOND Universe into a bigger thing was schway.

I remember two episodes. One was that generic “Face Your Fear” and another one was when they lost their powers and met this lying dude who gave them food based ones. The water guy got onions sauce powers.

I'd love to a modern version of this.

youtube.com/watch?v=CdZ1Y92eVfM

I remember an animated special with a teenager

I only remember it airing once, it was a marathon that ran through the day and I watched most of it so I remember some bits in particular
There was a girl with the water guy from the beginning and in one episode they reveal she's the wood elemental
The final episode had a pentagram with chairs(?) that focused the elements

Damn this is really killing me that I can’t remember the name.

Master Raindrop

Holy fuck what's this called? I only remember the green hair chick

Fucking bless you user

Tigersharks?

I remember this show being pretty fun overall, aside from that one fucking episode where bernie puts corneil (or the other way around, i forgot who was named what) in a dog fashion show.

Attached: 268x0w.jpg (268x268, 25K)

what was this show called?

Hurricanes
Potato Head Kids
The Glo Friends
Moondreamers
The Tomfoolery Show
The Little Rascals (HB)
Uncle Croc's Block
The Bluffers
Dragon Flyz
Winsome Witch
Peabody's Improbable History

Amigo and Friends
etc.

plenty of animated series here in this list that only you remember

With damn good reason. I had to have some serious thoughts about (un)necrophilia because of her.

Wow she is literally Jessie

also I need help with the actual running length of these shows when making fantasy schedules of my TestWaters channels
what are the runtimes of these shows complete with the end credits? I know several of these run 11 minutes with end credits attached like Lola and Virginia

One obscure cartoon still pops up in my memory sometimes. It’s about three human (?) characters livin in same house, and one of them always eats garbage. Cartoon also had soft of reoccurring gag with postman living in main character’s fridge.

its not obscure, just old.

or how it was titled "Midnight Patrol: Adventures in the Dream Zone" in the USA?

Haven't seen this mentioned ever. I bet it's hardly obscure in Australia, tho.

These Are The Days

the robot had such a boring design

I can hear this webm

that's a real nightmare?

The only things I really remember about Hurricanes was that the theme song was much better than the actual show, and that one of the guys played football (well, soccer) with bare feet. I only ever watched it when waiting for something else to come on.

Dude I forgot about this until now

Attached: 1484848644290.jpg (450x533, 44K)

Only vague memories... discussing it with a friend lead us to remember the Hero worked on a circus, or was a former circus artist (thus why he could easily jump between buildings, because he showed up in rooftops), and he had a black older guy as his Bernardo-like assistant.
Plot-wise I don't remember anything else, but I remember the style being more darker similar to Cybersix.

Though, all those recollections could just be us trying to remember an animation we started doubting ever watched.

anyone remember certain cartoons that would be like 24 minutes long?

What country was the cartoon from? Where are you from? I know zorro was an acrobat in the story if I remember correctly. I know what cybersix is but I don't remember anything like you're talking about.

I think he had some games and/or a cartoon?

It too me forever to remember his name “lenny loosejocks”

Holy fuck the nostalgia.

Actually forgot this existed but thanks to seeing that baby it all came back to me.

I don't know what country it was from.
I'm from Chile, South America.

The series was aired on HBO, which was known for airing more darker and edgier animated series in Latin America.
I don't remember any episode in particular, but I remember seeing the trailer for it lots of times.

The MC was blonde, now that I remember.

games
the people behind him also made "car quest" for the switch

Was this western animation or was it anime?

ARE YOU READY FOR THE RACE OF A LIFETIME

Attached: hot_wheels_acceleracers_logo_by_ferrarif12berlinetta_das3e9n-pre.jpg (1308x611, 75K)

Guys I need your help. There was a show that Cartoon Network aired once or twice during their Christmas marathons that was Canadian and hand drawn I remember a grandma telling kids a story or something and one of the stories might have had a bear. Very soft colors almost water color

The games had some cool animation from what I remember anyway

that vaguely reminds me of "little bear" but maybe not

It couldn't be Night Hood, could it?

Unfortunately no, as I remember the character using a mask and a hat like Jack of all Trades' Daring Dragoon... to the point that the first time I saw Jack of all Trades as a teenager, I instantly thought he was a live-action version of the Cape and Sword Hero I was trying to find.

99,9% sure it was western animation

Damn. Throw it back to me just getting real cable the first time when I was 4.. used to come on a channel called CBN, Christian Broadcasting Network.. same channel the 700 Club came on, pretty sure Pat Robertson owned it. Yes I live in the Bible belt.

Ah well. It was worth a try. Night Hood was the only one I could think of that felt similar to Cybersix.

The "you have to watch this first to watch Pokemon then show". I detested it.

There's a similar split in their comics industry where everything is either dark fantasy/scifi or Don Martin knockoffs without the humor.

Pokemon's shit, user, don't lie. Histeria was way better.

Man, I really miss the days when Turner Broadcasting was run by a close knit family of people who genuinely loved film.

I have a vhs of that.

Is that a good thing, or a bad thing?

Always liked the show despite its odd pacing, which I assume was due to being dubbed from French. The movie was a mess and had almost nothing to do with the show, but it had some beautiful scenes that still stick with me.

The series also had a banger opening.
