>Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow, a former KGB assassin, agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and member of the Avengers who returns to Budapest in the aftermath of the superhuman civil war to face her past.
>Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova / Black Widow, Romanoff's surrogate sister and another product of the Red Room, a secret program created by the KGB to train deadly assassins.
>Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff / Black Widow, a seasoned spy trained in the Red Room and who is now involved in a secret scientific experiment.
>O-T Fagbenle as Rick Mason, a fixer for international spies who previously worked with Romanoff during her time with S.H.I.E.L.D. and is romantically interested in her.
>David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian, the Russian counterpart to Captain America and a damaged supersoldier who has a history with Romanoff.
>Ray Winstone as General Ivan Petrovich, a high-ranking member of the KGB, creator and director of the Red Room and Romanoff's surrogate father.
>Montage of Black Widow’s previous appearances. Voice-over: “I used to have nothing. Then I got this job. This family. I was better because of it. I’ve made mistakes. I can’t go back.”
>Marvel Studios logo. Establishing shot. ”BUDAPESTE” appears on screen. Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) ventures into a rundown apartment with her gun drawn. “I know you’re out there”, a voice says. “I know you know”, Natasha answers, “So do you want to talk like grown-ups?” Natasha turns to find Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) aiming her gun at her. “Is that what we are?”, Yelena says. Silence. Natasha and Yelena steal each other’s guns using the same move. Beat. They steal their original guns back. Exchange looks. Decide to get physical.
>A vicious fight begins. Natasha uses a towel to smash Yelena’s head into a sink then tries to choke her with it. Yelena smashes a plate on Natasha’s head and slices her arm with a kitchen knife. Both end up on the floor, using a curtain to choke each other unconscious. Smash cut to Natasha and Yelena, both severely injured, sharing drinks. “Always good to see you, sis”, says Natasha, “You just had to come to Budapest, didn’t you?”
>Montage. Natasha running on a mountainside. A motorcycle chase through Budapest. Gunfire. Explosions. Culminates with Natasha’s car being rammed at a bridge by an armored vehicle driven by Taskmaster, who emerges from the wreckage and advances towards Natasha. She fires at him, but he deflects the bullets with a shield, displaying moves identical to Captain America. Natasha engages Taskmaster in a fight, but he mimics and counters her strike by strike. Ends with them facing each other, perfectly mirrored.
Is Taskmaster black? What’s his costume look like?

He is not Taskmaster.

>Taskmaster's casting call asks for black British actors who can pull off sexual tension. >O-T Fagbenle is a black British actor whose character has sexual tension with Black Widow.
Do the math, lad.
Joseph Parker
>"This movie is an opportunity to explore Black Widow as a woman who has come into her own and is making independent and active choices for herself, probably for once in her life", says star Scarlett Johansson, "when something huge explodes and all the pieces are landing, you have that moment of stillness where you don't know what to do next - that's the moment that she's in. In that moment, you actually have to face yourself."
>"I was excited to see how bold it was and to see how raw it was and to see how sad it was. It was a script that I didn't expect to be associated with this, and that's part of why I got so excited," explained Florence Pugh. "And with Cate Shortland attached and telling the next part of Natasha's history was only thrilling to be a part of."
Didn’t the KGB disbanded in 1991, along with the Soviet Union? And Winter Solider say that Natasha was born in 1983 or something like that? So was she a agent when she was a toddler? Or this some sort of alternate history? I know she’s a lot older in the comics but I doubt they’re gonna go with that explanation for the MCU.

This is an awful looking taskmaster costume

>"There are quite a number. I'm a Black Widow and there's Scarlett and Florence. There's quite a bit of other characters you'll also meet that are Black Widows", revealed Rachel Weisz, "My character, in particular, is a very seasoned spy and assassin, and she been cycled through the Black Widow Red Room five times at this point in her life."
>"Mason is a fixer. His job is to get whatever a spy needs to do their job", said O-T Fagbenle, "It's a bit of a complex relationship with Natasha because obviously, ostensibly, we have this kind of business transaction, but I think there's a little romantic frisson."
>"The great thing about him is not a lot of people know about him," David Harbour told us, "There's an openness to our interpretation. The one thing that we do know is that he is the counterpart to Captain America on the Soviet Russian side, so we have a lot of play with who he is. And we are playing with him. He's a supersoldier, but he's also a very complicated guy. He has a lot of flaws, a lot of idiosyncrasies. It's a very rich character, and I really am blessed to play him."
Happy to see that Sheriff Hopper managed to bounce back from his Hellboy being a dud.
James Brooks
she cute
Brandon Wright
MCU Russia is different. For example, according to Agents of Shield the Prime Minister is the head of state. So KGB can be active in some form at the time of movie.
Cooper Cruz
So is she going to actually be Iron Maiden? I’ guessing she’s just going to be a normal spy.
Leo Ortiz
>O-T Fagbenle as Rick Mason, a fixer for international spies who previously worked with Romanoff during her time with S.H.I.E.L.D. and is romantically interested in her.
BLACKED
Logan Wood
Officially sure, but Putin is the president in our timeline and he was an old member so i'd be surprised as fuck they weren't just rebranded.

That we know of. Might be a surprise cameo.
Camden Clark
Pretty excited about this cast. I'll probably watch for that alone.
Easton King
it's clearly going to be red guardian. hes Russian captain America. he uses a shield. taskmaster fights with a shield. and him and natasha are close so it would be a dramatic blow for her
Easton Brown
Didn't Black Widow die?
