Oh, today's the series finale right? It's been a long ride and I never gave up on it despite how much it deviated from the original comic.

I was looking for a thread. Thanks for making it. If Liv’s dad is really gone, man was he pointless.

I think it's weird that the final villain is the French guy of all people.

Yeah I’m not sure how well they planned out the last season. I didn’t really see Enzo randomly becoming the final boss.

>the show ends like it began

yikes

Goddammit you should have shot him.

I hope Major ain’t gonna bite it. I feel like all he did throughout the entire show was suffer.

I feel kind of bad for Don-E, though I guess he deserved it.

What’s this about?

He kinda helped with murder too often to get a good ending.

Oh no, major Major deathflag.

I kinda like it. Feels organic, he just happened to be the last bad guy standing and now it’s time to clear house

Rob Thomas can't let his main characters be happy

>here something about a comic called iZombie getting a show
>read the comic beforehand and fall in love with it
>trailer/first episode of the show leave a bad taste in my mouth, don't want to watch anymore
>tv kept recording it and I decided to binge the first couple of episodes
>fall in love again
I'll miss it

Man this feels really rushed. It’s kind of hilarious how they keep gunning down all the minor characters.

a time skip?

Not sure if like this time skip. Doesn’t really feel like it was necessary.

Well, at least everyone survived. Don't get why they stayed zombies though.

Eh. I thought that ending was okay. I think the biggest weakness of iZombie was always the bigger picture stuff. The brain of the week format got stale after awhile admittedly, but I think the further the show got, the worse the storylines for the seasons became. It was a comfy show though, everything considered. Five seasons is quite a lot.

Ugh cliche time skip ending, the perfect way to shit the bed on giving actual closure AND half hazardly wrap everything up in a 5 minute window.

Wish I didn't see it coming, but it was inevitable.

Holy shit, I can’t believe Liv’s dad actually died last episode. What the hell was the point of his weird ass robo-skull and hair piece?

Also, what the hell is this d-list CW Game of Thrones on right now?

?

Reign is still on?

havent seen the ending yet, please tell me blaine got fucked

Don-E was by not means an angel, but even so, he didn't deserve that fate.

But bright side, they had Blaine's decomposing dad with them, shouldn't be to hard to break off a limb and make it sharp enough to properly off themselves and avoid the even worse fate in store for them.

I think he's talking about The Outpost. Which is just such trash but its guilty pleasure trash...then again that sums up the whole of The CW.

Best show DC ever made

bump

dammit Yea Forums its a series finale cant we get some conversation going

This.

Yep. Thrown down the well where his dad is by Don-E, then he gets thrown down by Liv.

Starting the season tomorrow, bumping thread

Just watched the ending. I thought it kinda sucked and got the impression RT was too busy with Veronica Mars to end izombie properly.
The "robo-skull" was just a metal plate under his hair so he wouldn't get killed from behind.

Blaine's dad escaped the well and formed the zombie cult which died trying to breakout through the military cordon.

This entire episode could have done with taking part over the last third of the season. Could've done more with the CDC heist; Peyton being a zombie; the freylich kids and zombieism being a way out for the terminally ill; tied up the Mr Boss, Deadenders, etc - and esp. Beanpole Bob's plan with them zombifying the doctors and politicians.

Instead it felt like they kept going with the brain-of-the-week stuff too long because the writers preferred doing that rather than deal with the overarcing plot.

To look after the kids: both the Freylich ones (probably dead by the time of the 10 year timeskip) and those with terminal illnesses.
