As someone who did a spider-man before. Unless your doing Hobo spider-man, do sit-ups/crunches/planks anything to trim down your your gut. Buy a faceplate. Your doing spider-man, most zentai sellers have decent spider-man suits so the only thing you need to work on is your silhouette. Face mask helps hide your facial features such as mouth and nostrils, and prevents you from looking like spooderman in case you took off your mask and put it back one.
Lastly BUY a dance belt/or jock strap. Just wearing underwear will do fuck all from hiding your peter parker from every one at the con. Yeah it might make your buldge more pronounce but at least no one can see every single wrinkle in your ball-sack,
