I watched the entire Fist of the North Star movie on YouTube once
I like how the 90s Bluth films are such embarrassments that nobody wants to claim copyright to take them off Youtube.

Wow!! That was wonderful
You should check out this one next then.
How about actually linking it OP?
I didn't think it'd still be relevant today.
It breaks my heart how wholesome and innocent we used to be. Compare this to what's on Cartoon Network.
I love Bluth films so much
Thanks to everyone for such great replies. This board never disappoints.
The chase scene at the 18 minute mark is easily one of the all time greatest sequences in animation history.

The oldest surviving animated film, and the third ever made.
What's the first and second?
El Apostol and Sin Dejar Rastros, from 1917 and 1918 respectively. El Apostol is 100% confirmed destroyed in a fire, there's possibly a small chance some print of Sin Dejar Rastros survived the fire but it hasn't been found and is considered lost.
They were made by an Italian named Quirino Christiani, who used an odd animation technique involving articulated cardboard cutout figures
(obviously) meant for
Cutout animation isn't that odd and the films are basically recorded shadow plays.
When The Wind Blows.
Too lazy to post a link.
Oh holy shit, i was looking for this movie i think, late last year. Thanks!
Modern cartoons try their hardest to alienate children and many animators actively hate children. It can't be helped
Wow, what was the first animation without cut-out figures...using drawings?
I think that's why so many kids are turning to Korea and Japan for entertainment. It stays upbeat and happy without Satanic elements. This bleeds into music too. Compare K-pop to Billie Eilish
>Modern cartoons try their hardest to alienate children
Care to expand upon this idea? I mean, i think i agree with you, but i'm not sure if its for the reasons you mean, and would just like to know for sure.
>many animators actively hate children
This is so prominently evident for some shows it kind of breaks my heart.
I do wonder though, how much Reddit has been effecting cartoons. There is significant evidence, and I think some writers have even come straight out and said that shows have had to be re-written late in development because the producers are angry that fans on websites have guessed where the plot is going.
>Satanic elements
>This bleeds into music too. Compare K-pop to Billie Eilish
user...What? What the hell?
IS this common? Why would someone work in animation while hating children?
Because they're passionate about the medium and DESPISE the fact an entire art form is relegated entirely to strictly children's entertainment.
come on the road! my little castanet. come on the road! and famous you will get
