My one criticism of the new episode is that I feel Tari should’ve struggled more to get past the level.
Maybe it’s because she’s somehow enhanced so her body is able to obey the game’s physics, or maybe this is a fairly easy game and as she enters more games they will get harder for her to master.
Other than that, I feel bad for Theo, fella’s entire life has probably been just swinging around a pretty island, but now he gets to see a girl agonizing in pain and some shady dude who’s thirsty for power.

Also, pretty interesting twist to have Theo come into the real world

This episode is better overall, animation and writing but here's my problem, you have a cyberpunk setting with an evil corporation and everything is centered in videogames, BUT maybe Tari's ability is entering every type of software and vidya is only a starting point for the series. I reall don't see it leaving the vidya theme anytime, it's a shame bc makes the world look silly. The corporation may be like Sony and not only be vidya, but still, why tho.

Cyberpunk in dressing but not its themes. If it was real cyberpunk they would be showing that the gaming obsession the world is built around is horrible. I'd say this episode sucked as well. It was 16 minutes but it felt like an hour.

I dont understand why indie 3d animation is game engine quality. It can be rendered, with no extra effort, it just takes render time. Just add a subdivision modifier to make it smooth, throw in light sources or an HDRI and its movie quality lighting.

Blame Kevin. Luke wanted to end the series circa 2016 but Kevin convinced Luke to keep going under the pretense that he (Kevin) would be doing all the writing. SMG4 Mario has kinda felt like Patrick Star for me.

I started noticing Kevin's involvement with the series during the time when there was a large abundance of SMG4 episodes that only used the 3D models instead of the N64 models, it practically took the charm out of the videos. And then he started showing up in the into of the SMG4 videos with Luke. He really started to slowly take over the channel as Luke doesn't do much engaging when they talk about stuff. Don't get me started on Hobo Bros. either.

It's become even more apparent now that SMG4's channel is now "SMG4/Glitch Productions" meaning it's no longer just SMG4's channel.
