They do whatever is trendy and ride fads to stay alive. In the late 90s/early 00s, they did a ton of shitty manga knock-offs because the anime fad was in full swing (Marvel outsourced them to do the Mangaverse, if you remember that). Right now, they're doing political parody books (both pro and anti Trump).
The one mainstay is Gold Diggers. They've published that thing non stop for like 20 years.
