New Archer is on right now. Last week was kinda interesting so maybe this week will be? Showing signs of him waking up. Let's see.

that is a hugeass courtroom
Did it freeze during the intro for anyone else watching?
Isn't this getting another season?
This is the Season Finale, not the Series Finale.
>a gay montage
Ok
HES AWAKE
>now his mom wants to fuck him
Worth the 3 year wait.
>Mom wants to fuck him now
wtf the fuck
Finally it's over and we can get back to real life.
Danger Island was fine, but those other two, hard pass...
I didn't mind Dreamland and 1999's last two episode were good since it was a sign of Archer waking up with reality glitching in and out with everyone just thinking he's going crazy
I thought Danger Island was the worst out of all 3.
I liked 1999 because it went back to the episodically story format. Dreamland wasn't bad with having that overarching story but Danger Island felt like an episode being dragged out too long.
Dude, Danger Island was the weakest of the Genre Dream seasons.
I skipped all the genre seasons, what where they?
Noir with Nazis
Hawaii 5O
Indiana Jones
Space
??
any worth watching? red pill me.
Dreamland was strongest because the concept was new
Danger Island was okay, but we had to go through everybody meeting each other again and yet another Barry and it opened with a scene basically telling you "fuck you, coma don't matter we do what we want"
1999 is a return to form where it finally felt like even if those particular years of Archer didn't happen something similar enough happened that you can just roll into it, even if some of the episodes had weaker writing
I do kind of wish it ended here but if next season we get the best of all worlds I won't complain
Is it up anywhere yet?
I can't find it anywhere
Sci-fi > Dreamland > Danger Island
Only good thing about danger island was having the best Pam. Parrot Krieger was alright too I guess.
Looking forward to next season to see what'll happen in the real world.
As for the coma seasons, I found Dreamland kind of a slog to get through, Danger Island was exciting with how pulpy everything was, and 1999 was better than the previous two because of its episodic nature, but I wish we knew how the Cubert plot would've gone had Archer not started to wake up.
Parrot Krieger was incredibly unfunny.
I will forfeit that point but stand by the Pam.
Given how Reed and company were explicitly attacking fans who wanted the return to the old canon, I have to wonder if one of two things happened behind the scenes:
1. FX(X) threatened to cut ties with Reed if he didn't end the show with the main canon while making the show (and got one final season to basically wrap everything up)
2. FX(X) bribed him with an extra season of Archer (and probably agreeing to pick up one new show from him, no matter how bad the pilot is) if he would do one last season of Archer where Archer wakes up and wraps up everything.
Reed must have been butthurt over his feminist buddy show getting canned.
It's actually option three:
FX suddenly realized they own Archer outright and that they don't need Reed to fix the show he derailed out of a sense of boredom and being pissy that Archer Vice flopped/terrorists stole the ISIS name from the show and made it radioactive. They can just tell him to fuck off and hand the show to new showrunners, since Reed only voices one character (Ray) and the rest of the cast would gladly do the show since it's an easy gig which pays well and more importantly, it's just crossed the 100 episode barrier and will most likely be syndicated or bought outright by Adult Swim at some point in the next couple of years.
So Reed's going along with it, reducing his involvement to just voice acting on the show because he doesn't want to end up blackballed from FX/FXX and Disney
So besides the obvious "what happened to everyone" in the three year gap speculation, anyone thought it was super odd they made a huge deal about two major plot points from early on that were heavily featured in the montage at the ending?
Archer as a cancer patient/Archer's roaring rampage of revenge when he found out that members of the Irish Mob were tampering/stealing cancer medication for the black market
The wee baby Sheamus, who disappeared from the series in season three after they decided to reunite Lana and Archer and make Lana have Archer's kid.
Makes you wonder if these two dropped plotlines are going to be a big deal next season. IE the Irish Mob is going to be coming after Archer for payback (since Archer executed a high ranking member of the syndicate) and Archer trying to forge a relationship with Sheamus, presumably after finding out that Lana married Cyril and his daughter thinks of Cyril as her real daddy?
anyone got a link for the episode? i haven't been invested this season but i wanna see him wake up
Just caught up. So Crystal likes getting double dicked?
I waited two seasons and a shitty tailspin knockoff for this garbage. How can they ever un-cringe this shit.
Would you, Yea Forums ?
aaaaaaand... freezeframe
In a heartbeat
Archer cucked Cyril. Cyril emotionally cucked Archer after by fucking Lana repeatedly. Archer recucked Cyril and then rubbed his face in it. Would Cyril stealing AJ from Archer be another notch in the cuck belt or nah?
so does status quo return in the next season or the space shit ends before the season finale?
>mfw I find out about a new archer season near its end for the third time in a rwo
what happened to this show
Everyone kinda stopped talking about it since the coma seasons started.
The second to last episode of this season (Archer 1999) had characters "morphing" into their classic Archer forms but only Archer noticed. This culminated in the final episode, where, from Archer's POV, everyone morphed into their OG forms as they escaped from the spaceship and Archer fought Barry's A1999 counterpart, who for the final battle went from android to his normal self and referencing how Archer fucked his fiance from season one.
This led to a lengthy montage (which featured Archer, Lana, Mallory, the cancer two parter, Baby Sheamus, and the monologue where Archer recites all of the bad shit that happened to him physically through season four) and rapid edit montage of them showing every alternate look and spy disguise Archer's had over the course of the show before Archer finally woke up. They also did an incest tease with Mallory joking about "how she was the real love of Archer's life" and that the show was really, all about the mother/son relationship (which was Reed publicly caving to one of the biggest criticisms of Dreamland; where fans and critics complained about how that season wrote Mallory as a third party figure and not Archer's mom and how that screwed the show over dynamic-wise). Which makes me seriously think that the season finale WAS intended to be a series finale (as rumored).
Most likely Archer's going to reveal that Sheamus is Cyril's son in order to break Lana/Cyril up once he finds out they got married when he was in the coma.
nice trips. i'll check it out. thanks.
im amazed that they have just given up on making jokes since the detective season
ISIS is still gone, right?
Either Veronica Dean is still on the run disguised as Malory or Krieger’s robots overdoing the touring test. I’m ok either way.
Do people still watch this show since he became a detective?
Archer Vice and Archer Dreamland were the best seasons though.
Three years really messes with your equilibrium
I heard Obama ended the war in Iraq. They must be gone. Iraq is a free peaceful nation of democracy now.
Its even hard to get a thread going on here while the episodes are airing.
>it's just crossed the 100 episode barrier and will most likely be syndicated or bought outright by Adult Swim at some point in the next couple of years.
Comedy Central sniped it first
