Well we know Johnny is getting Zarathos, so maybe. Leaning 60/40 in Ghost Rider’s favor.
Nice
Is this how the animation is going to look? It's pretty good!
Nah, this is just fanart. Will be neat to see Zarathos though
You say that but watch them have Ghost Rider send Lobo to the afterlife only for him to come back with holy weapons
This is the one of those rare death battles where the characters are absolutely in character and have every reason to want to kill the other just by meeting each other.
Or just beat Zarathos to death like he did Shiva.
inform me about zarathos, why do people think it gives ghost rider a chance verses lobo?
>Ghost Jobber
>Winning
>”I don’t regret anything”
>dialfags
>dial
what do you mean? like we are getting Dial H for hero in this?
It’s a thing from the JLA/Avengers comic when Superman overpowered Thor. DC fans of Death Battle have been using it since DC characters are on a winning streak on DB
to be fair that is a pretty sick Spinal Tap reference
Right?
Because he's a powerful enough demon to scale around Mephisto.
Superman is actually a metal head in canon. His favorite album is Metallica's And Justice for All.
This is the 8th match of DC's streak. Earth-8 is Earth Marvel.
Ghost Rider has this in the bag. The hypercrisis have spoken. This is Marvel's fight.
Didn’t the stare kill Deadpool and he came back to life?
How do? I think rider wins but why because Marvel is Earth-8?
Is there any way Lobo realistically kills Ghost Rider?
Because 8 is Marvel's lucky number. It's like if the battle was the 616th episode of Death Battle.
It will start by ghost rider trying to hijack Lobo’s ride and pissing him off
Same way he killed the God Squad I imagine, unless Zarathos is just on a level beyond them.
depends what they consider canon, like there is Lobo's back when Lobo defeated a whole pantheon of deities and Lobo/Mask where Lobo was able to go toe to toe with Big Head cartoon powers which arguably way more dangerous than anything the rider can do.
The problem is most of those books are comedy oriented so they could BS the excuse that it was all gags that have no bearing on the actual character power level.
>They mention Zarathos
Not even the writers reference that guy, and they said Death Battle doesn't research
I think Aaron referenced him sort of? But made him an angel instead of a demon because Aaron is a shit?
Swan-era Death Battle is a whole different beast from the one that had Rouge kill Wonder Woman because "lol exposed skin"
Yeah as a dialfag I’m okay with this desu.
>one is an actual spirit of vengeance
>one is a big strong genetic regenerator with some gags in his background
Like if we set aside all the times each has jobbed, at the end of the day the Rider is the one with magical damage and Lobo is the one who should need external stuff to bring down mystic beings.
>The one who should need external stuff to bring down mystic beings
Didn't he kill Santa?
Lobo can punch ghosts.
I’m not sure if I want to have a serious discussion about how many layers of automatic mundane attack nullification Santa has. But I’m damn sure he should logically have none because he’s fucking Santa not a spirit of vengeance
>He's not a spirit of vengeance
Tell that to everyone that gets coal.
Okay shit THIS on the other hand I have no answer to. I guess the question now becomes whether, overall, hellfire burns significantly hotter than normal fire in Marvel. Considering despite everything I do remember Ghost Rider being punched a lot, I’m guessing not that much.
...I still think there’s compelling reasons for the Rider to take this one home, but I’m worrying some of them might end up treading into Cosmic Ghost Rider territory now
That’s not vengeance that’s justice. Don’t do the deed, don’t get the presents. And in Darkseid’s case he probably just dumps all the coal into the fire pits to keep them warm anyway.
I didn't believe you at first but holy fuck it's true
>superman and wondy are both canon metalheads
what does Batman listen to?
>what does Batman listen to?
Other people’s conversations and playlists to build preptime against them, duh
The guy just is a machine.
The Clash
What a legend
Who knows. But the guy hates punk a lot.
We can all agree the only way to kill Tupac is through Drive-Bys though, right?
Would Penance Stare work on Superman? Has Clark ever felt guilt?
YES. The dude is a fount of guilt. It would fuck him up hard.
>Has Clark ever felt guilt?
He literally exiled himself into space for a while due to the guilt he had from executing Zod and company.
He eventually got over it, but it took like a year after Byrne quit (and a year in Superman at that time took place over three books, so 36 issues of guilty thoughts)
