If you've read the comics and watched the older cartoons then you know how annoying she can be.
How will the reboot fix her character?
Della cuck Donald and it's everything
She has Donald's temper
Cucktales
But none of his positives to balance it.
She's bad girlfriend a shifty friend to Minnie.
she's good in the older cartoons.
Kind of but it depends on which.
how about the ones where she was a straight up bitch to Donald. Which happens to be the basis for this look
Donald has Storkules after him and Della wants him as well. Then there's this cutie
Daisy was always meant to be a foil to Minnie: The bad girlfriend. She is extremely selfish, bratty and emotionally abusive. This was fine back when Donald was also just a foil to Mickey but the problem is that Donald has evolved and developed while Daisy has remained exactly the same for decades.
So my idea was for to be a bad influence and Daisy and Donald's start taking aspects of each others personality as their relationship develops. Donald is a lot more softer in this version. He has his anger but he has a lot less bite then any other incarnation. So have Daisy teach Donald to be more self indulgent while Daisy learns from Donald to be less selfish.
Have her genuinely love Donald but also Donald's temper but she uses it to very manipulative and emotionally abusive to others. Have her encourage Donald to be more aggressive and selfish in scenarios (Maybe have an episode introducing Chip and Dale where they are bothering Donald and he just takes the beating until Daisy tells him to man up). Have her maybe hate his family and frequently insults Della and Scrooge with low blows. Maybe create some drama with Daisy hitting a nerve on Della by her passive aggressively going on about how Della is a bad parent and she should just let Donald take full custody.
As the story goes on she slowly learns how much of a prick she is and becomes more caring to the family for Donald's sake.
well the current Ducktales doesn't give a fuck about the comics so we're good.
Is it werid that I find her cute.
Yeah, Daisy might get 2 episodes a season, this is out the window.
If they do use her, she'll be rich and successful and independent and cool and way too good for Donald, but still have a soft spot for the loser, because the show has a hard time writing women as anything but hyper competent feminist role models.
They will fix her but it doesn't matter because it's a reboot and people must hate reboots because their favorite youtuber says they should hate it
like, rise of the TMNT has done absolutely nothing wrong and people still hate it, sure they made april black but she barely even appears and to compensate for how ugly she is they have introduced a bunch of cool and cute girls
>people must hate reboots because their favorite youtuber says they should hate it
But most people like NuDucktales?
Even Yea Forums which tends to be overcritical has agreed that the second season has greatly improved the show.
Don’t forget the Caballeros
There’s probably more, everyone wants Donald
>the one thing true to the comics and shorts will be Ducktales Daisy in all her harpy glory
>Donald will fall head over heels for her
This dog's smug aura mocks me
Ducks are cute
>making April black
I know this has been talked about countless times, but why is it almost always the redheads being the target of black characters?
She's fixed by making her a completely different character.
After 80 years or so, her being a utter cunt IS her character
>we will never get Magica's nieces in Lot3C for even more shipping with the caballeros
Damn.
Donald's ex girlfriend from his old "trying to be a rockstar" days, only she grew up and got a boring job.
Because if you look up a single opinion on redheads or gingers in general, you will find nothing but ridicule, references to having no soul, daywalkers, being low class, or synonymous with rage. Almost every opinion on the internet about a red headed character is negative.
So what do you think modern, watered down, HEAVILY focus-tested shows are going to think when the topic of red head comes up? Overly negative, mostly hates character. They likely use focus testing results to assume making a redhead into an african american is a positive change that will transform a negatively received character into a more liked one.
is it bad that the best version of her was the QuackPack version unironically?
It was the first and only modern depiction of her since the early 50s. The Paul Ruddish shorts just have her as a bitchy girlfriend and not much else. So Quack Pack was the only time we really saw her as a character with actual traits.
Or her music career took off and she is a mostly past it former pop idol while Donald never made it and lived on a boat for the last decade.
>underneath her trenchcoat she's got her old groupie clothes
>she fucking loves Donald's singing
It'd be nice.
Nothing wrong with good taste. I like her and Donald together in the new MM shorts.
There is nothing underneath the trenchcoat.
>it’s actually Magica in disguise
I would pound nearly every female duck in this show hard.
Play her straight and blame misogynist fans for her not being liked?
Dog girl never shown any interest in donald.
But the dead end vags
Daisy is perfect. She is a great source of comedy in the comics and also the instigator of top tier Donald vs Gladstone stories.
>so very little art because furfags can't into beaks
>the few requests I've made when some alleged drawfag is asking were never done
It hurts.
I might be misremembring it but I think I enjoyed her in House of Mouse.
She seemed more laid-back then but had a gossipy personality that would cause trouble.
Honestly I think that angle would work well for her; being Donald's chiller, more laidback GF untill something crosses the line that sets her off.
frankly, just have ditch the whole "blackmail\threatening Donald with dating Gladstone to get her way" would help a lot
Nigga, please. That's a Donald's Diary Daisy. She has dated the entire animation crew of Disney in said short, and this new iteration of Daisy will be every Disney animator's waifu in 2020 who will animate their self-inserts as avians and dog-noses, when her episode airs.
>reboot fixing anything
No, I hate the reboot because of its glib tone that can't commit to actual adventureous tone or stakes and its insulting attitude towards the source material
Like, if anything, all youtubers I know that're talking about it are praising it because "yeah it did a Barks panel reference and I recognised it I'm such a nerd"
