Its the stupid idea of always that the real self is Batman.

It did.

I mean, he’s not lying. He is Batman.

Only touching it with his glove and he's not bound by it.

Simply put, Batman believes that Bruce Wayne died that night with his parents and that his true identity ever since has been The Batman.

The truth from an insane person is still insane

Bruce's identity is more healthy than the cavalcade of lies Clark routinely puts his loved ones through.

Who gaslighted you?

His loved ones all know who he is though. In fact isn't "the kid who could lift tractors" kind of a shared town secret in smallville?

Flip it around

Would it be morally just to rely on the lasso of truth in court?

>cavalcade of lies Clark routinely puts his loved ones through.
As opposed to the heartbreak Bruce puts Alfred through and getting 3 out his 4 Robins killed?

No one is bound by the lasso there, Diana and Clark are just naturally honest folks, while Bruce took the opportunity to further his mystique like a twat

Clark isn't Peter Parker.

What you mean bound? I though just by touching the lasso all what you said was the truth

She didn't say "what's your birth name" or anything. Like if Snoop Dog grabbed it, he'd probably say "Snoop Dog" not "Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr." (making this point is now the only reason I know his name is Calvin)

Gloves?

bound, you have to tie them up

He said the truth as he perceives it.

If that were the case the Diana would never tell a lie unless she is without the lasso

When has Diana lied?

The lasso doesn't compel Wonder Woman to speak the truth as strongly as it does others, while the restraining effect effects her normally.

>he'd probably say "Snoop Dog
Nah, he's say I'm the one and only D O Double G

It did work. Bruce Wayne doesn't choose to become Batman, Batman chooses to become Bruce Wayne for the sake of continuing his life as Batman. As far as Batman is concerned, Bruce Wayne died on the same night as Thomas and Martha Wayne.
