I kinda get why this bomb format sucks, but I think releasing all the episodes in one month is what lead to so many people here enjoying this show so much. Waking up every day to see a new episode, or binging all of them in a row once they all are released makes it a show that really grows on you.

While in general I dislike the bomb format I think that it did actually help for this show. Literally 90+% of season 1 is SoL "filler." While I don't really like the term "filler" especially this early in a show, and I enjoyed almost every single episode, I could definitely see a lot of people getting tired that "nothing ever happens" if the show were released at two per week as was planned ("two wacky adventures a week"). Since really there are only a handful of episodes that are related to the over-arching plot and usually it's just something at the end of the episode.

We don't know how they plan to progress the show. It seems natural after that long build-up to finally have Anne search outside the valley, but at the same time we stand to lose Wartwood and all of its colorful characters that have been explored and built up, possibly for several episodes at a time. The Plantars seem eager to help Anne and may even leave the valley with her, but I'm not expecting the others to.

They do want to help, but I can't see them leaving the farm, at least not all of them. One of the points they've driven home over the season is how important its success is to their survival. At best they'd be trying to get someone else to watch over it, and at worst it would be left completely unattended. Hop Pop has the added factor of making sure that nothing uncovers the music box, which could happen if someone decided to go rooting around and noticed a conspicuous patch of worked dirt.
If anyone goes with her, my bet is on Sprig (and possibly Polly, but not without a struggle). He's young, can theoretically provide for himself as food and water go, and has the best chance of actually keeping up with Anne. Having Hop Pop and/or Polly stay would keep a window into what's going on in Wartwood open.
