Scraping the wood shavings, Disney?
Ok....
>The best lighting, animation, and rendering I've seen in footage for a CGI TV show in a while
>It's for a fucking Disney Junior show
goddammit.
>pink
The fuck was wrong with brown and gold/bronze? Why the fuck does every female have to wear pink? Doesn't that just enforce outdated gender stereotypes? Fuck this horse shit.
It's making a comeback my slapping it on normally masculine things and claiming them for the girls.
Same way you see bright pink pick up trucks with bumper stickers pointing it out
Disney is female friendly. Only.
Yeah, that looked great. Every year the tech gets better. Roadster Racers and Elena were both lightyears ahead of other stuff.
But with something like this, it's really easy to get lazy, like at the :54 mark in the video. Hard to know that they'd use the same level of quality in the actual show.
Red Letter Media's pitch was way better, but this is just gonna be the Lion Guard. Some people will be all
>Controversy!!!!!!1!!!!
and then less than 2000 people will care
It's purple you blind fuck and her outfit is fresh as fuck.
I thought they were making her black.
is Color blind?
Plus the outfit on the Diamond Select figure looks off too.
Rockets are outdated! Who the fuck would want to fly with a rocket packs when we have bagpack helicopters?
It's light-ish red.
>scraping the wood shavings
It's called preserving the copyright.
>This animation wasted on an adaptation of one of the worst Live-action Disney movies
>one of the worst Live-action Disney movies
Have you been huffing airplane fuel?
It's more of a violet red or a fuchsia
Overly girly things are making a comeback. In the neighborhood a lot of little girls wear unicorn things and very ‘girly’ clothes. THe idea is that girls should have no shame in liking ‘girly’ things and they should live care-free.
I was thinking the same thing. The animation and render work on the dog is fantastic for a TV budget, especially for a pre-school show no one would give a shit about the visuals for.
The humans still look a little off. But this and Trollhunters shows me how fantastic every other element has gotten given the restraints. I kind of wish they would just do these CG shows without humans and really amp up their metal, monster, animal, and material-based tech to make a gorgeous looking show.
And thus omboyish girls are going to be persecuted for not liking pink things.
It has a pink base with purple shadows and white highlights.
>THe idea is that girls should have no shame in liking ‘girly’ things and they should live care-free.
Which is much better than the whole, "Everyone who is feminine is binary!" shit people have been pushing. Even if it means getting rid of the label tomboy, I would gladly have it gone from people's vocabulary if it also means getting rid of the term "non-binary" and just saying you're a girl no matter what your interests lean towards.
That was the entire movement cartoons were pushing for in the 90's, but it seems like it's gone backwards and we've been pushing for more labels now.
They’ll grow up to be trans-men or dykes.
Bullshit. Who says those things are girly? Why is being "girly" a thing? Isn't this just gender stereotypes? I grew up thinking being liberal was about rebelling against such bullshit. Now leftist loons have taken over and somehow girls are supposed to be all weak and frilly and conform to old gender norms. This seems like a canard to con women into accepting big brother government into their lives.
That's a harmful stereotype
I can't help but feel like the modern lgbtq32+ movement is just controlled opposition by the elite to keep labels on people just as much as conservatives. And all of it is just to make it easier to define consumer democraphics. We can't just let people live their lives. Everyone has to conform to all these new dozens of gender norms just like they used to conform to just two.
You sound like you need a unicorn shirt and to calm down.
