You have one minute to tell me your favourite non-cape comic, and to explain why you like it.

Pearls before swine. It's pretty fun and rat is based.
For Better or Worse > all other funnies. I read one when I was a kid where the daughter character rolled up her skirt to show off her legs and it made me rock fucking hard.
Scott Pilgrim & Seconds. They're my favourite Comics in general.
Persepolis and Sweet Tooth.
one is real stuff, powerful message
the other is comfy, beautiful and cool
Jonah Hex vol 2. Condensed one issue stories and a top-tier rotation of artists (including the great Darwyn Cooke) depicting the gruesome and badass action the titular character takes part in.
...
Either Transmet or The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. I like Transmet because of how filthy and unapologetic the main character is despite ultimately wanting to be a force for good.
I like Scrooge McDuck because it's just that damn good of a story.
Ha, remember when Jubilee was a vampire?
Savage Sword of Conan by Roy Thomas
Because it’s the best
Witchblade. It gives me a boner.
sorry, forgot the question
Loveness' "Judas."
We fucking story timed it back in Easter, it should be fucking obvious.
That's a cape comic.
Arawn. It has all that I desire: blood, titties, an epic tale of revenge and destiny, as well as delightsome easter eggs.
i really like the goon, it cracks me up, plus i love the idea of supernatural gangsters
im not sure about that
Orc Stain, for its art and atmosphere
Shame it's never going to get updated.
isnt that the comic where orcs are obsessed with monster cocks?it was all so silly for me, almost like a comic made by a teen or something
>Arawn
my mugga
I think it's cause I got into it when I was 13 and going through that edgy phase
Lol I used to wear black clothes and listen to MCR, simple times
daytripper
because it is a masterpiece. unless something else monumental comes out and finishes its run in the next 5 months, this will go down as the best comic of the 2010's.
Global Frequency
Sci-Fi, horror, and action all meet in a cool anthology format with varied art. Its good shit.
Prophet and Prophet - Earth War. Imagine taking a zero-dimensional 90s Rob Liefeld product and turning it into a multilayered science fiction masterpiece. Imagine.
Big Man Plans or Sunstone.
One is about a 'Nam vet dwarf going back home for revenge and rescue, the other is a cute romance about BDSM lesbians.
Fucking based taste user
Its fun
Dwarves. It has dwarves.
Asterix. It’s top-tier comfy
This thread makes me sad.
Don't know what counts as non cape but I like Eden's Trail from Marvel because it's an anime ripoff and nostalgia I guess.
It's always a classic. There's a few that are boring, but the vast majority of 40k comics are just so over the top silly/badass/sad that you can't help but love them.
From Hell: Conspiracy, history, architecture, and time-fuckery. Also, Eddie Campbell's art is perfectly fitting.
Perramus: Another semi-period piece, this time in Buenos Aires instead of London. It takes from the works of Jorge Luis Borges, and is drawn by the great Alberto Breccia.
Y The Last Man because it was the first comic I read
Elf Quest, the world building & artwork
I would say anything directly from the big 2 counts as a cape comic.
House of Mystery, I Love Anthology Horror Titles
...
It's a western you dumb fuck.
Yeah?
From Hell is considered cape
By who?
Murder Falcon, it's cool.
Appearing in a superhero comic doesn't make you a superhero
Would you consider Punisher MAX a cape comic? I believe if it is published directly by Marvel or DC (making it canonically part of a superhero universe), it shouldn't count as non-cape. There are so many more comics to choose from, why does it have to be from these two?
Well that’s a shit opinion user
Arlo and Janis. it's very comfy and Janis is one of my waifus
Donald Duck. Just pure kino all around
Turma da Mônica/Monica's Gang. Every little Hue likes it.
Blacksad because is a Noir series
Blacksad because The art is fantastic, I like noir stories and I'm a closet furry
