I'd say so.
It got me some laughs and some of the scenes about growing up felt really sincere. Even if you were never a twelve year old girl, there's a lot of general stuff that they cover like growing apart with friends/siblings, not fitting in or not having a parent around. And with Endless, it actually has a nice setting, since just about anything can happen but there's a clear mystery to it that gets darker the more you think about it, and there may also be something tied to the town, which otherwise seems pretty real.
Humor might not be your cup of tea, but besides some jokes used to show just how immature the group is, it's seems fairly decent.
I'd hope it gets a second season if only because it really needs more time to explore the extent of the world they made.

Really? I thought the balance between the real world and Endless was pretty nice, but I also like the fantasy world so that’s just my opinion, not to invalidate yours or anything. I thought a lot of the fantasy characters were funny and it was cool how they were able to make their own. One thing I didn’t really get was in the beginning Reggie says anything they bring into Endless couldn’t come back with them. I think the way they handled Reggie's crush was really good, Reggie's embarrassment about it stems directly from her fear of growing up, and she views romance as something that makes you turn into a no-fun-allowed adult (considering her attitude towards Todd's relationship). She didn't even tell her friends about her crush because of this embarrassment, because it just confused her too much and conflicted with her idea that she's still a kid. It definitely got set up for more development in season 2, and I hope to see more of it.

Not Yea Forums but Andy Mack, a live action show on Disney Channel, had a secondary protagonist come out as gay, struggle with a crush on a straight guy, and then slowly get to know and flirt with this other guy who reciprocates his feelings, and they became a couple in the finale. Esther's level of characterization is sufficient for the role that she generally plays. Not to say that I wouldn't like to see a bit more.

It's not the ISPs, it's the media companies, and most of them don't seek it out, it's almost exclusively Warner, which includes CN and HBO.

Todd's problem is that he didn't decide to move the plot forward, a girl just showed up and pushed him to do new things-

I thought he was some kind of brown-skinned latino, his last name sounded spanish.

It's not that I don't recognize the point, but it just gets a little obnoxious at times, especially when we spend so much time with her.

Then the animators never met a latino because they tend to be redish brown (remember the red skins?)

At least she's often reminded of how wrong she is and her attitude isn't glorified like others (COF COF MABEL COF COF STAR COF COF)

True, but the show doesn't try to put her "in the right", her flaws are pointed out to the viewers and her friends getting tired of her shit is part of the story. Frustrating would be if the show bend backwards to present that behavior as something quirky that people should learn to appreciate.

They pretty much destroy her at the start of the series so she isn’t much of a threat until she discovers she can feed off the negative feelings of the trio. It’s why even when we do see her in the middle of the season, she’s typically just hanging around the house feeling weak. Probably because they wanted to save any sort of confrontation with her until the end of the season.

I can't tell if that's an attempt to not use the same villain too much or just an attempt to lessen how often they have to pay Matt Berry.
