After the war, the Japanese elite disband the army and took the name of Liberal Democratic Party, which is very ironic because it has nothing of liberal or democratic and rebuild Japan by exploiting the people and using illegal methods for taking the land from the farmers, all for the greater good. Honestly SU doesn’t explore the moral of peace well because every Gem is slavering over him like a Diamond pre and post reveal anyway. SU assumes everyone is an overall unified hive mind that can be “redeemed” but in actuality it’s just another Diamond exerting influence on the drones.
