They are right tho.

I approved it OP
It was me
I did it just to piss you off
Fuck you OP
Fuck you

And they get proven wrong later

To be fair he thought scar would be a decent leader. Scar was supposed to be the smart one

did you just stop watching there or

One wonders why Mufasa let him stay

It's not uncommon to make a male character be wrong for a while but ultimately find the right path thus undergoing an arc

If he had stayed he would have gotten fucking mauled to death by his uncle. It's not like a cub can lead the pride so Scar would have been ruling and nothing would have changed in the time he wasted with Timon and Pumba. If anything things probably would have ended up worse since instead of fighting Scar when he's in his prime he probably would have punched above his weightclass as a dumb teenager.

this. did you miss the rest of the movie for some reason?

That is what living in africa is all about.

>Simba witnesses his father's death before his very eyes
>cries mournfully
>Scar uses Simba as a scapegoat in order to continue his plan to be king, telling him to leave the Pride Lands
>Hyenas try to eat Simba, making sure he never steps near the Pride Lands again

>lol why did Simba, a child, run away from his problems

>hakuna matata finishes
>THE END
>credits roll
Yeah, I don't know what the fuck they were thinking.

Based Disney Executive

True, but being a bum for the ensuing years didn't make Simba leadership material either. Unless eating bugs and sleeping all day with your gay best friends is what it takes to successfully restore the pride rock biome.

Its funny how this movie is supposed to be about the NEXT part when he goes back and fix all the mess, but every single soul that watched this movie is all about hakuna matata.

>OP
>You have forgotten the film
>You have forgotten how to not be a colossal faggot, and in doing so, have forgotten me
>Remember...

what do you call that type of thing exactly?
everyone remembers the runaway scene from the graduate but no one remembers the awkward bus ride after.

At least Simba does willfully choose to return after learning his responsibility is far grander than just his own personal comforts. Remember that for a majority of his life Simba assumed he was responsible for his father's death and ran away to avoid repercussions from it, accident though it was.

Compare and contrast with Frozen and Elsa, who has a similar 'fuck the past I'm enjoying my life' song. After Anna reveals the responsibility Elsa needed to face, being the progenitor of the winter in Arendelle she needs to stop, Elsa proceeds to flip the fuck out and shits ice magic in her fit, some of which hits Anna square in the chest. Elsa then tosses Anna out of her ice castle and refuses to face any of the problems she caused. In fact, the only reason she's in the area for the climax of the movie is because she was dragged there under arrest. She never has a moment like Simba does that unveils the problem of selfishly living away from those who are suffering and shunning royal responsibility. Elsa just never gives a fuck unless it specifically impacts her, at the last second when Anna turns into an ice statue.

None of that shit matters, just be the rightful king and heaven will shower blessings upon your kingdom. At least that's the message I got.

This?
tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MisaimedFandom

mandate of heaven works in strange ways

It's because they didn't give Rafikia a song

Fuck you, Eobard.

Yeah it's like main character has flaws to overcome or something

METICULOUS PLANNING

Hakuna Matata was 90s Let it Go.

Women want to be Elsa: Rich, Beatiful, Powerful and Irresponsible.

This, why would Scar even need to get rid of him? Simba was way too young to be the leader or defend the lioness and clearly respected and loved his uncle. This entire movie is a fucking mess.

To be fair, I’d rather be a bum than a king.

Kek

America

You too young to understand Gen X slacker doctrine. Mills didn't understand then but 20sthings knew the grubs meant pot.

The literally tell you in the movie that it's a flawed philosophy and that you need to learn from and face your problems.

What are you complaining about exactly?

Because Scar was his brother and he loved his brother, family ties run deep man
Because Simba would eventually grow up and take the throne, pushing Scar back down, even the lionesses and the rest of the pridelands would t have treated Scar with the respect he wanted and would have made it clear that they were waiting for simba to grow and take the throne. Pretty basic stuff really

Plus, none of you motherfuckers apparently have never read a single line of Shakespeare. Combo of Hamlet and Henry V as a prince.

Killing Simba would've brought Scar the title of ruler without question as he would be the rightful King at that moment. Scar also wouldnt have any possible witnesses left never mind the fact that Simbe was at an angle where he couldnt see what caused Mufasa to fall. Simply put, it was safer with Simba out of that picture entirely.

Also Simba would likely grow up anyway to shit all over Scar in time

The second movie proves that male lions in this world don't need to worry about being betrayed by the younger males.

And again looks very out of character for Simba to simply push Scar down, specially if he was raised by him.

>Hakuna matata

What do they mean by this?

Attached: Hakuna_Matata.png (1920x1080, 2.66M)

Elsa still has one million pounds of emotional baggage and they should've just let her stay up there like a sequinned mountain hermit, fucking around with ice sculptures and snowflake geometry

YOLO

>being unable to follow the plot of a childrens movie

except it made the kingdom freeze, so they had to get her straight.

Apparently you can't.

"Problems" are trash. People are wasting your time. Only believe in God. Lion king is based; redpilled

>he loved his brother
Did he? Because there is clearly hostility between the brothers, even more so in the new movie.

It mean no worries, for the rest of your days.

>The second movie
Doesn't count.
>proves that male lions in this world don't need to worry about being betrayed by the younger males.
No it doesn't.
>And again looks very out of character for Simba to simply push Scar down, specially if he was raised by him.
And it's very out of character for Scar to take that risk.

It's our problem-free philosophy!

I never saw the second movie, but even if Simba doesn’t actively push Scar down, the fact that Simba will take the throne from Scar is itself an act of pushing Scar down, even if it’s done in the nicest way possible. Scar wants to be king, and wants to be king until he dies, with Simba alive and within the pridelands Scar’s day’s as King are numbered. Most wouldn’t even consider him to be a real king, simply a place holder until the true king comes of age. From Simba’s point of view nothing would seem abnormal, but from Scar’s point of view, this little shit just took his power and throne away from him, remember, Scar doesn’t care as much about family as his brother did, he in fact resents them for having always been above him

>they had to get her straight
they weren't very successful, then

You can be hostile with your siblings and still share love, it’s just that Mufasa never wanted to conspire to kill his cunt of a brother, Scar had absolutely no problem killing him.

>You can be hostile with your siblings and still share love

Because they were cartoon lions acting like humans.

What little anime girl? It’s true.

Pumba is CUTE

>dude just run away from your problems lmao
Seems like Disney really loves that message, hmmm...

Well, she's a woman, so it is a realistic portrayal.

he lives in you wouldve fit in well there

>Who the fuck approved of this?
A Jew, obviously, dumbass.

Look, man, Jedi Masters have turned tail and ran since the prequels. Obi-Wan AND Yoda fucked right the hell into exile after ROTS.

So really, since Ben Kenobi is in exile in 1977, your problem is with George Lucas, not Disney.

The real question is why Scar didn't double cross the hyenas. He was King. He had the support of the lionesses, as tacit as it may have been. He didn't need the hyenas at that point, and it's not like Scar would need to fight them off himself. He had an army.

And if they tried to spill the beans? Who would trust a fucking hyena?

I mean to be fair, what the hell was Simba to do? Go back? He was convinced that everyone would hate him for his "role" in Mufasa's death, if the hyenas didn't kill him first like they said they would Scar definitely would have, and he didn't know that Scar had laid waste to the Pride Lands, or that he was even a bad guy, until he came back and saw the situation for himself

The hyenas acted as his own enforcers if the lionesses ever got out of line. He needed the hyenas numbers to maintain his rule over the pride.

Retard

Sure user, throughout history women are well known for their responsible decision making and level-headed approach to problems.

Those who did usually got killed.

Being murdered by a horde of morons is generally the fate of all intelligent people regardless of their genitalia.
