So I just watched the first episode of Infinity Train.
I -tried- watching 12 forever.
Haven't seen Amphibia yet.
Here's my statements and or questions.

Fucking great so far. I love the soundtrack. It feels so well paced. The characters are funny. The dark is -dark- but not edgy dark, if that makes sense. (There's scary shit but it's not OOOOOH SPOOOOKY, it's seriously disconcerting things like a divorced family playing hell on a child's life, and the child's social life being more awkward as seen by her conversation with her friend. And then the roach-dogs. Fuck those things were scary in a way that you'd find in Silent Hill 2) And that was all only the first episode.

Usually I love cartoons that are cartoons like OK KO, but something about 12 Forever was just bugging me. I like the new brown-version of the guy friend. He's cool and funny, and nice! But the girl just aggravates me and i just turned it off after they pulled the keys out of nowhere and did their little chant. Should I press on?

Well, the first season actually has a clear progression towards a resolution so far.
And they could technically get there next season, so getting only two would not completely gut the series.
With clear conflicts and not overly relying on twists, the second season could go very smoothly.
The first season manages to have Anne grow as a person from episode to episode, learning something about herself or the world each time, which feels pretty gratifying when you see the results after a while.

It gets better as it goes on. Reggie is an immature kid and not in the cute and funny way. This is actually a central plot point. You aren't supposed to like her.
Amphibia is just plain great. It's exactly what you would expect from the trailer and does not disappoint at all. If you like the kind of show Amphibia is, it's doing a fantastic job of being that.
