I remember watching almost 20 years ago with a girlfriend who wasn't into cartoons at all and the first time Bubbles came out and yelled CARTOON CARTOONS I instantly felt all the blood drain out of my face. She looked at me like she couldn't believe I enjoyed such a childish thing as what she had just witnessed.

Our relationship was never really the same after that point as her coldness grew. I'd talk about some inconsequential thing, tell some story, and she'd respond or interrupt with, "Oh, so just like CARTOON CARTOONS?" or "Did you tell him that CARTOON CARTOONS was on and you couldn't?".

She eventually left me after a huge fight that had us both in tears, and I still remember her yelling, "You might not have me any longer, but you still have CARTOON CARTOONS, so it's fine, right?!"
