I never think live-action Tangled is good idea. Max is one of the highlights in the movie but he is non-talking animal and his comedic elements mostly come from the hilarious movements and expressions which are only well illustrated in animation. Also you see live action Lion King becomes very flat in animal’s emotions so I don’t think Max can be well portrayed in live action.
