Guy tries to join the hero team...

>Guy tries to join the hero team, does literally nothing wrong but is blamed for shit other people did and is blamed for everything the entire episode. Ends up leaving because he doesn’t want to be blamed for shit. Doesn’t even get an apology.
>Girl quits hero team, joins villain team, blows shit up destroying private property and steals stuff from people, is then welcomed back with open arms to the hero team with no repercussions whatsoever for her actions.
What the FUCK.

Um, sweaty... remind me who the first one is.

What cartoon is this talking about again?

It's literally the two people in the picture

Lance. Avalanche.

The Brotherhood got some shit treatment from the X-Men, most of which is what drove them to joining the Brotherhood in the first place.

In the very first episode, Toad tries to be friends with Scott and Scott tells him to fuck off because he's gross. Toad gets bullied into working for Mystique and even infiltrates the mansion. He gets teased and belittled by Nightcrawler and then sent on his way. No on, not even the Professor, tries to help him.

Blob was shown as a literal sideshow freak getting laughed at by crowds, then picked on by kids at school. He misconstrues Jean's kindness for affection and becomes a creep, but rather than anyone try to teach him what he did wrong, Rogue just kicks the shit out of him and throws him away.

The Brotherhood got a rough deal and the X-Men never tried to help.

Avalance

this could be my memory being shit, but wasn't rogue a part of the brotherhood at one point? they didn't give her near as much shit as they did lance

also, scott mcneil is best wolverine

She was. Very early on, I don't think the brotherhood was really assembled at that point either just blob, toad, Lance and I'm not sure but I don't think they were living at the house at that point.

She left in Fred’s first episode

Rogue was a villain for maybe 2 episodes. But yeah, both she and Boom Boom were welcomed into the X-Men without any problems. Toad and Blob were rejected outright and Avalanche, despite getting a tryout, got shit on mercilessly until he left. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch got special Magneto treatment, so they never had any reason to want to join the X-Men.

Man what an episode. No matter how bad your date goes, you will never have a 1st date as bad as Fed Duke and Jean Grey.

You sure. I think Scott had a small arc of wether or not to trust Rogue, pretty sure it was.more than three eps.

Blob almost raped Jean

Toad is actually one of the worst ones. Mystique sends toad to the mansion, Charles actually test nightcrawler against him. After toad leaves, Charles says "he'll come back if and when he's ready."

Later when talking to Mystique you find out Toad got mind wiped, so what Charles said was bullshit.

They kinda took pity on Toad in the later seasons when the Brotherhood became more nuisances than villains. Nightcrawler spends a whole episode trying to help Toad get a date with Wanda, so sort of like making amends, I guess.

Because in the eyes of society men are viewed as expendable and women aren't even if they are complete shits.
Just look at how much shit people will let a woman to get away with versus a man.

>Toad got mind wiped
Honestly, is there a single interpretation of Xavier where he’s not shady as fuck?

How come Morph wasnt in this show?

The X Men cartoon from the 90s.

Boom Boom puts out.

>girl is cute and nice
>she goes for the bad boy
Every time

Teenagers and other kids in general can be very cruel.

Xavier in my opinion has a flawed view on mutant and human relationship. He tries to hide mutants in plane sight, with this imaginary goal that one day humanity will be ready. Hating mutants goes beyond racism, because the stereotype is that mutant are born weapons.

Brotherhood hood had the right idea revealing themselves as mutants. It will always be a wrong time, but the point is to rip that bandaid off.

>Brotherhood hood had the right idea revealing themselves as mutants. It will always be a wrong time, but the point is to rip that bandaid off.

Yeah, but then Xavier mindwiped the Brotherhood and everyone in the crowd at the football game because he could. Cool guy.

I think I'm starting to understand Juggernaut a whole lot more now.

I mean is it any surpirse that outside of nightcrawler and rouge they were the most popular characters ro come out of the show

If it wasn't for Wolverine and X-23 I'd say the show would've been better off following brotherhood.

They did start getting boring when Magneto acolytes came into play.

Biggest sin? Turning Wanda into a mall goth.

UN-forgivable.

Biggest sin is they removed the Twincest.

I didn't know much about Scarlet Witch before the show. Granted her character in Hot-Topic incarnate but I like how they did Toad/Wanda thing in the comics Toad is a pervert who leans more on rapist.

Because this one wasn't for Morph

Would've been cool if Morph was a guy Logan hung out with when he was away from the X-mansion. Most his episodes ended up being solos

Girls can’t be held responsible for there actions silly.

>Mutants cause all of the problems in the show
>NoT aLL mUTaNtS aRe BAd gUYs

Boom-boom is hot.

Mutants are ment to be the underdogs, people who don’t fit the mold and not always “together”. The brotherhood wolverine and Rogue were the most relatable for those reasons.

Yes that's a very interesting point let's talk more about this and other females that were hot in this show.

>Because this one wasn't for Morph
kek

Friendly reminder
Wolverines and Tahu share the same VA

he was made for the original animated series so they could kill someone off without pissing off fans

They still brought him back

I always liked the original animated series' versions better
Rogue had the better design (for obvious reasons), but that said I like Evolution's civilian clothes
Nightcrawler, on the other hand, was generally better in the original series because they kept the catholicism in. the episode where wolverine prayed at the end was great, and taking out (or even downplaying) a major part of his character like that is a real disservice

>he was made for the original animated series
He was in the comic, called Changeling, then he died. That's why they used him in the show; he was an obscure X-Man who is only notable for dying. They had to change his name to Morph because DC had the trademark on Changeling at the time.

the racism analogy sucks
blacks were never born with the power to pick up your house and crush it with their minds

>The bad boy was actually trying to change this time
>established characters keep it from happening

Too be fair, Lance was pretty much the OC character of the series so he was going to get special treatment among the other Brotherhood members.

was he ever actually called Avalanche in the show? Everybody just called him Lance. Even his teammates when they were in costume.

Everything is pushed to the extreme in comics it’s only recently they began to tone things down and surprise surprise, comics are dieing now.

I remember hearing "avalanche" being used.
Imagine what'd they would be like working for Shield. Also I get toad growing up disgusting, but that hair and teeth

everyone called Jean by her name

She never used "Marvel Girl" in this.

Rogue used that name as her actual name. I think only mystique called her by her actual name.

Beast nickname wasn't really used. And seemed more fucked up when you put it in context of his character arc.

Is that Scarlet Witch?

Attached: verynice.png (438x505, 231K)

The series finale, Xavier has a vision of the future. He sees the Brotherhood as adults and tells the X-Men "Some people never change."

So yeah, the Brotherhood in Evolution are doomed to be losers forever.

All of them (except petro and scarlet) are only bad because the X-men are douchebags.

Tabitha never really rejoins the X-men though, she just helps them out in a couple episodes and goes on their vacation with them. I don't think she ever moved back into the mansion.

Plus she "joined" the Brotherhood in that she freeloaded in their house while never actually helping them in any of their schemes.

>Never rejoined
She moved back in and is seen training with them. She joined them again.

>Plus she "joined" the Brotherhood in that she freeloaded in their house while never actually helping them in any of their schemes.
Those were cute episode. She's a total "Queen Bee" loves being the only girl in the house. That episode where she took Toad and Blob to the dance was cute.

>There is an entire episode where the brotherhood saves people (even by accident)
>X-men refuse to believe they can be good people

Well they did start manufacturing disasters to "rescue" people

Jack Spicer

I miss this show.

Evolution Scott is based but this was one instance where he was not based

The Scott/Rogue relationship was kino and I'm still mad they didn't get together

Don't be so sure. In one of the future visions Xavier see's Jean turn into Phoenix and let's just say that leaves room for someone to pick up the pieces for Scott. Basically Rogue played the long game.

Yeah, that was pretty much what fucked them over. If they would have put as much effort into finding actual problems as they did into manufacturing them, they likely would have single handedly patched human mutant relationships in the series.

Shit man, that rich old lady was all set to bankroll them for the rest of their lives, or at the very least, hook them up with other rich assholes who would have. All the Daddy Xbux money, but with none of the 4AM dangeroom sessions

...

seething nice guy
