would you watch a live action King of the Hill movie with an all black cast?

Only if Kevin Hart plays Bobby
would they be allowed to be ghetto stereotypes as much as the original cast are texan stereotypes?
No but a wholesome spin off called King of the Hood with rip off characters would be something I'd give a look see.
okay i'm with you on this
Sure. I don’t know much about Texas but presumably it’s not unheard of for black people to live in small towns
I would just to enjoy all that delicious white whining.
Yes, as long as they still act the same.
If it was originally black then of course but it wasn't so no. Would you watch and all white version of Meet the PJs? Hell no you wouldn't. Shit would be lame.
>live action
eww
>all black cast
disgusting, if i wanted to see niggers in live action i would drive to my local ghetto.
Isn't that essentially The PJs?
I wouldn't becasue it would be disingenuous since KotH was a pretty accurate but exaggerated take of the daily life of a middle aged suburban southerner.
If they did something similar with older black dudes in their element I would totally watch that. I mostly grew up the ghetto around those kinds of people so it would be kind of nostalgic.
Only if they were dubbed by the original voice actors.
So is it ghetto king of the hill or is everyone just black? Cause if its the latter that would be kinda hilarious
Same
Just to make a compelling story about a black family escaping (entirely different) stereotypes, you have to stop making KOTH. You may as well make something new.
It just doesn't work. Not if it's supposed to act as fanservice for people that actually like and miss KOTH. There's not any clever irony to explore either. The tone would just not even be close to similar, or at least similar enough for the same jokes or morals to work (again, the only reason fans would watch).
Imagine him saying “That’s my purse! I don’t know you!”
Kang of the Hill
This. Hank's attitude and personality can work on any person, regardless of whatever superficial shit writers try to put on.
Only if they played it straight the whole time never bringing up race, only for the end to be Peggy using the race card to win something trivial that Hank shakes his head at ending the movie.
how about get someone actually funny?
This, and Terry Crews plays Hank, but in typical Terry Crews fashion.
Only if they add a laugh track
yes
It can exist, but it would be interpreted entirely differently. Black Hank would be looked at as the biggest uncle Tom in the world
Would Dale believe in yakub and we wuz conspiracies?
I want this show to be real just so the world can see some of the batshit insane nonsense black conspiracy theorists believe
Do I have a rabbit hole for you
