What like the entire series? There's no way to tl;dr that. For the one showing on Toonami right now, it's a prequel to the original Mobile Suit Gundam anime, set in the "main timeline" of Gundam known as the Universal Century Timeline. It's based around a war between the Earth Federation and space-based autocratic state called the Principality of Zeon, who are the UC Timeline's main bad guys.
In the prequel so far we've seen the origin story of Zeon, basically, but it is especially focused on the life of Char Aznable, the most iconic antagonist the Gundam franchise has ever produced. Basically think of him as Gundam's Darth Vader, and this is the prequel trilogy explaining how he rose to power. We're still fairly early into his origin story, he's only just reached adolescence.
I can't say this song is "bad", Rather it's...nothing. This could be ANY rap song. None of the rappers have an interesting enough style to stand out, The beat itself is so by the books and all they're just doing is brag rapping which is so over saturated that this song has absolutely no staying power. I'm not gonna remember it in 10 minutes and neither will any of you.
