No, not if you de-age him What he needs to be is Peter's new mentor figure. Basically the person he goes to for life and heroism advice
Colton Jackson
Revival of Agent Carter since he’s still back in time
Jonathan Jones
>you will never have Rob and Chris as daddy figures why live
Justin Baker
>He's going to be de-aged
I was hoping the films would do a better job of staying away from dumb things that happen in comics
Nathan Robinson
This is actually a really good idea for a Disney+ show. Cap and Peggy as a married couple with Cap preventing threats that he knows about (Hydra infiltrating SHIELD, Bucky being used as a weapon, the Starks dying) before they happen.
Ayden Taylor
Pls yes. If we’re going alternate timeline with Loki we can do it here too.
Lincoln Barnes
>What he needs to be is Peter's new mentor figure. Basically the person he goes to for life and heroism advice I like this.
and Frankly, Steve is a better mentor for Pete than Tony could ever be.
Elijah Parker
it just occured to me; Steve and Peggy definitely had kids in the alternate timeline, right?
Is there any use or precedent for the children of Captain America?
i like this alot, I wonder if Evans would be down for this. I feel like leaving him an old man really limits his utility, especially considering they showcased aging/de-aging scott at the beginning of the film.
Ayden Parker
>i like this alot, I wonder if Evans would be down for this. I don't think so, him and RDJ are the two major MCU actors who are absent in the animated What-If show for Disney+. RDJ I can see with him being expensive but Evans isn't more expensive than ScarJo and Hemsworth. He has also done some VA work before (Casey Jones in the 2007 TMNT and for that shitty Battle of Terra movie) and would do more if asked.
He seems to be pretty done with Cap, if anything he would direct an episode for Falcon and Winter Soldier.
Luis Peterson
I don't want to see cucked Sousa.
Adrian Jenkins
>I don't think so, him and RDJ are the two major MCU actors who are absent in the animated What-If show for Disney+. I missed that. And thats weird considering VA stuff is less time consuming, and easier to do than live-action stuff.
I'm hoping he'll come back, something about Evans' Steve is really mesmerizing, and (i hate to admit this) but Evans is what really made me become a fan of Cap as a character.
I think that marvels attempt to replace cap with the falcon and Thor with fem Thor is going to fail. Not because it’s an inherently bad idea, but because they haven’t made either character likeable enough to the audience yet. Most people are pretty lukewarm on Falcon and everybody hates Jane Foster.
I think Asian hulk and miles morales would have also been easier sells as marvels first live action replacement characters.
Jason Rivera
I honestly think precedent shouldn’t matter in these movies. It would be nice if the MCU would introduce some new heroes and villains that haven’t already appeared in the comics. If they announced a whole new hero with their own movie I would be beyond hyped. Instead they’ll make movies for every Z list hero until they run out.
Kevin Torres
>Thor with fem Thor is going to fail. I dont think thats the intent at all, given Portman is very expensive, and probably won't be willing to stick around, and Hemsworth is having lots of fun, and thus doesn't mind doing it. Plus, if anyone is going to "replace" Thor/hemsworth, it'll be Valkyrie/Thompson.
As for Falcon, maybe you're right, but as it stands, Falcon-cap and Bucky are gonna be regulated to the Disney+ shit, and not doing movies, so as far as the films go, the Captain America franchise is done.
Brayden Clark
>If they announced a whole new hero with their own movie I would be beyond hyped
how many MCU original characters even exist as of right now??
Cameron Perry
Why do they put more makeup on him than on scarjo?
Henry Fisher
Make Cap Americop.
Americop wears a bulky suit (which would allow Evans to get fat) and a full face mask.
A side effect of Cap fucking with the timeline by staying in the past is that Peggy's death happened much earlier; she was killed because Cap didn't change the future to stop a killer and her murder at his hands caused him to snap and go full Time Travel Vigilante.
It's also why he gave the shield to Falcon; he feels he is no longer worthy to use the shield given the number of criminals he's killed preemptively.
Easton Moore
>Hydra is definitively stopped back in the 1950s. >AIM fills the void in secret.
Could be fun.
Benjamin Davis
I'd go for >Becomes a mentor for the new avengers >Dies fighting as an old man against Osborn/Skrulls They can still milk his funeral. Would be very sad if he dies like in fallen son though.
Adrian Carter
Jaime Alexander or Thompson would do fine. Which is why it's idiotic Jane Foster is being brought back at all.
Joseph Wilson
Do you guys think they’re going to buff her up with CG? Natalie Portman looks like a stick figure. Not heroic at all.
Alexander White
I wish he was nude.
William Thomas
she already mentioned "getting jacked", so I hope she does get big, at least bigger than Gadot and larson.
>tfw evans will never do an alternate universe cap film series, with a version of the MU set in the 1960s
Michael Gonzalez
Falcon's very likeable. He'd be moreso if he'd gotten more than 20 minutes of screentime total since Winter Soldier.
Austin Wright
agreed. >Jaime Alexander she's not coming back, as much as I wish she would. Portman asked to come back, and given her acting pedigree, I dont think the mouse would let feige tell her no. Plus, everyone with kids wants to do a marvel film for their kids to see.
Actually, I bet as soon as Evans has a couple of kids he'll wanna come back.
Jack Sanders
>tfw no Sam in AoU >tfw Cap3 could've been 2 hours of Steve, Sam, and Bucky, but they made it CW instead
David Rodriguez
I actually liked civil war but it should have been branded as an avenger film rather than a captain America film. By that logic every Avengers film should have just been called Ironman.
Levi Johnson
He was only there for a very short time but he was present in AOU.
I would have liked to see the original draft of Civil War before Feige and RDJ hijacked the movie and mutating it into a Tonywank.
Probably could have brought neo-Hydra back or even, fuck, Zodiac and still keep the same general plot.
Jeremiah Edwards
He's a skrull, real old man Steve dies to save the world
Carson Ross
>He was only there for a very short time but he was present in AOU. i know he was in the party scene, but he was hardly on-screen enough for him to really be "in" the movie. yeah, honestly, I did like CW alot, but it was by no means a Cap3, it was very much Avengers 2.5, or Avengers 3.
Henry Harris
People like Mackie, he only needs more exposure. youtube.com/watch?v=yP6LkvXN5LY Waititi made people cared more about Thor so hopefully the same happens with Jane.
Benjamin Collins
Ohhh boy the combod2 are back baby.
Owen Davis
It helps that Spider-man actually does look up to Cap in the comics. I remember the old Sinister Six novels when he tried to train his reflexes with Cap in the SHIELD Helicarrier and Steve was able to out-manuever Pete though sheer skill and training
