Can someone please explain what happened to Savage Dragon? When did it become a porno?
>>>/holy shit do any amount of looking before asking stupid/
Dragon became porno because the book barely sells 2,000 copies a month and other Image creators were getting pissy that Larsen kept pulling rank and giving Dragon a high profile slot in Image's yearly "Free Comic Book Day" promo book. This was Larsen's way to try and boost sales.
Also, the series has been retooled; OG Savage Dragon is gone and his baby from the 90s is now an adult and has his own harem of bitches he fucks. IIRC he's also now in Canada as well, as far as Larsen throwing a temper tantrum over Trump being elected.
Black Kiss and its sequel are pretty lewd. The latter being a whole lot more so.
It's crazy to think there's old dues who have been collecting Savage Dragon since the very beginning and have boxes filled with the things up to date. Who are these people?
I collected that motherfucker for way too long. but even I dropped it several years ago.
>shaved
why?
Ironically, it's next to impossible to get into if you wanted to because Larsen didn't save any of the art files (most of the art was done digitally and was deleted every couple of months) during the 90s (meaning no TPBs) and more to the point, there is a $500+ book in the middle of run (#101, which is the epilogue for the first 100 issues and features the very first appearance of Kirkman's Invincible comic) that makes it impossible to buy as single issues.
Why is this on the cover? Does Larson not care anymore?
Are you that unfamiliar with Savage Dragon comics at this point?
The first 25 issues of Savage Dragon and the original mini WERE collected in TPBs (the trade even has material that was earmarked for Image #0 which never came out but was crucial for the story as Larsen killed a major character in it) in the early 90s. But those trades are LONG out of print and were super poorly made as far as the binding falling apart.
Larsen is super anti-trade because he feels that waiting for the trades kills comics due to the idea that monthly sales are far far far more important than twice a year sales from bookstores.
Get her her own?
>Larsen is super anti-trade
bit of a dummy, isn't he Satan
As said, Larsen has given up and basically producing porn because no one at Image can tell him no since he's a founder there and sales have collapsed to the point of him having to do shock stories to get people to give a fuck about it. Due to the fact that Savage Dragon has become so utterly insular and continuity locked to keep new readers from being able to follow it.
Ironically, had Larsen not pissed off Comicsgaters, he'd probably could have leveraged them to revive interest in the book since Zack, Umbrella, and others are 90s Image fanboys and could have given him a boost had he told John Layman and his ilk to fucking kill themselves and endorsed Comicsgate.
To be fair, he has a point.
You need the monthly sales to justify stuff being published since it is a far better barometer for fan interest than TPB sales.
A person who will buy a book that comes out every month is a far more desirable customer than someone who MIGHT buy one trade and even then, might not buy later volumes of a title AND who might not even buy it when it comes out but 2-5 years later, when it's too late to gage if it's worth doing a second trade.
Very much. I havent looked at it since like '95.
Image #0 was released, but only as a mail-away.
For me, it's Satanik
Hm, there are Savage Dragon trades out though... even omnibus (called Archives). The latter collects up to #225
Love and Rockets is pretty lewd. Beto's stuff in particular has a lot of fuckin and Birdland is straight-up porn.
Doesn't matter. Theirs dull faster due to the amount surface area they need to shave and are too lazy and selfish to restock their own supply of blades.
>before asking stupid/
????
Larsen realized that being a founding member of Image and record holding writer is something like having tenure. So now he's seeing what he can get away with while going on about Orange Man Bad.
Buy an old style safety razor.
She'll stick to her own rather than use something with one blade.
Try Gold Digger if you can deal with Fred's reference fetish.
>Larsen didn't save any of the art files
Larsen works traditionally (pen and ink)
A bunch of his old art was destroyed in a house fire years ago.
Sooner or later someone will compile all the shit to release in trade form, might be after his death but it'll still happen
Those Savage Dragon comics are disgusting and completely not sexy
wtf
It is one of those covers where, unlike with most comics, the cover actually has to do something with what the actual comic book is about.
They end up doing a foursome by the way.
Yeah, with a black girl and the blonde one that was always considered like a step-sister, I only read it for the sex btw.
It so awful.
Do you have a list of people who go on about Orange Man Bad?
It would be a long list since nearly everyone in the world can see he's a bad person who is doing a bad job.
Except Israel, of course. They love him.
>he's a bad person who is doing a bad job.
he's doing exactly the job he was hired to do.
He's doing it badly
Girls shave?!
>shaving off the pubic hair
Please don't.
You say this as if being endorsed by CG or supporting it in any way carried some sort of prestige, when it's just a few thousand retards who are too deep in a grift to notice it.
>a few thousand retards who are too deep in a grift to notice it.
where do you think you are?
highly subjective statement.
Where do YOU think you are?
why not ?
Pubes are disgusting
Maybe if you're an ultimate pleb
Trimming and shaving them is fun, though. Unruly hair is indeed disgusting, but part of the appeal is to make it work for you.
You are cringe. Yeesh.
In summer yeah
you hardly need to make a list, the orange man bad crowd usually slips in an "orange man bad!" into any unrelated conversation.
Also, he got an alternate cover for that issue done by famed R34 artist Krash (aka KrashZone). Good job finding a decent-quality version of that cover though, it's all either thumbnailed or censored
He shoulda sprung for an entire issue by Kras.
A whole mini-series, even.
>and more to the point, there is a $500+ book in the middle of run (#101, which is the epilogue for the first 100 issues and features the very first appearance of Kirkman's Invincible comic) that makes it impossible to buy as single issues.
Amazon says otherwise.
Low test.
What about asshair?
This is so tender and sexy
Thing about pubes is that if they were fluffy and soft like head hair more people would prefer them. But they're not, they feel like they're made of the same material as cassette tape. They're like wires.
Imagine being such a loser you fetishize an entire ethnotype that spans more than half the population, yet you fail to get one.
That's unsanitary
The fuck kind of mutant hog-women have you been sticking your dick in?
Well, that escalated quickly. Is this by the same author that did girl genius?
Phil Foglio? No, but he has done a lot of porn in the past. Check out Xxxenophile for more cute porns
That's pretty tame to be honest
