>It works like a community toy chest. In the /coc/ threads you are free to post whatever ideas/settings/characters you want, but you have to be OK with other people playing with them (tweaking them, putting them in stories, using them for things, etc.)
>There's no guarantee that what you post will catch on either.

Gonna be one of these weekends again, huh?

Anonymous wanderer dropping by.
I like the concept of this thread, and it's a shame it's not getting much play. It's not much, but I'll throw this at you cats. Did this a last year, in a set of fun time doodles on /qa/

Peace.

Attached: Blink.gif (686x873, 125K)

It'll be whatever kind of weekend you want it to be if you're willing to roll up your sleeves and do the work.

What would be a fun, simple GG/Audrey animation to make?

rope swinging or hula hooping

They've been pretty slow for a while. There was a major spike a month or so ago when those Golden Girl comics happened, but now they're back to this pace again.

Using a wrench to tighten a bolt?
Is that simple? The more I think about anything animated, the more complex I realize it is.

Doing the 1-2-3 with Silver Queen

3 second loop of her trying to squeeze through a trapdoor.

Colby... I didn't get this in time for last thread.

What are the all-powerful, continuity rewriting, artifacts of /coc/?

Beautiful as always.

the anons

I didn't know we got LA on board the GG train...

How does it work? Is it an artifact or a cosmic tribunal of some sort?

Neat.
She seems to be getting cuter and cuter.

What does Colby do when she's obligated to take a day off?

Playing Ping Pong

Either sleep or go deep innawoods and come back covered in monster blood.

What would be a good logo for Roller Betty's baseball team?

the Red Devils, obvsly

Damn, is that also the name?

It was good fun while it lasted. It may happen again one day.

>I like the concept of this thread
Then why are you going off-topic on it?

>shame it's not getting much play.
Then take the time to actually get what the thread is about, and participate accordingly.

Excuse my rudeness, I'm still lurking a bit.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean.

The Yea Forumssmic Ones? Those are the things that are the most powerful in the /coc/ setting.

Can't remember if I posted this here or not but here's Blutzweiger, German vampire-fighter.

Attached: blutzweiger.png (411x411, 14K)

I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS THREAD FOR FUCKING WEEKS. here's knock...her latest design at least.

Attached: final look.png (1216x1626, 378K)

I don't remember it being posted before.
Any affiliations with Blue Blood?

We have this thread every Saturday.
Who is she?

What's their story?

up and coming superhero with concussive force powers hence knockout name, still trying to decide on her personality more but so far she's basically a cocky, hot headed woman with narcissism issues. though she can be nice if she wants and acts like a big sister to folks younger than her.

hasn't had one yet but i think she gained her powers when she was 12 and accidentally knocked out a boy who was bullying her in middle school. as an adult she use to be a vigilante with own online web channel where she live streams her crime fighting escapades.

So like the bitchy head cheerleader all grown up?

>Der Blutzweiger is a hero operating out of rural Germany, battling the local vampire problem with a homemade steam-powered super suit. While his implements look wicked and rather non-standard for a vampire hunter, it's because he takes the very difficult (and unenviable) task of subduing and capturing vampires alive (or undead, as the case in fact is). So, rather than the ol stake-and-sunlight or magic whip approach, he hunts during the dead of night with big ass syringes. Vampires, after all, survive exsanguination a lot better than humans do, they just become really weak. Still, Blutzweiger believes even the living dead deserve a chance at rehabilitation- after all, his wife is one of them.

I figure he's interacted with Ada but nothing's set in stone. Still, he's trying to take vampires in nonlethally and the Blueblood clan hunts "lesser" vampires for sport so they're probably at odds. A Blueblood would be way out of Blutzweiger's league, too. Like Batman trying to fight Etrigan. So Ada would be a good person to have on speed dial...

pretty much

So an attention seeking all grown up cheerleader who live streams her superhero antics for views?
The potential for bad things to happen to her is staggering. Everything from stalkers, to super stalkers, to that live stream being used against her.

That does make for an interesting scenario.

that just gives me me idea for a arch-nemesis for her who's literally a neckbeard turned eldritch warlock

It writes itself. Just don't go full social commentary on it.

From the Miscellaneous Characters page, there's the Chris-Chan stand in, Caleb.
I'm working on another Ladybug cover that features him as a member of Marley's rogues gallery. I figured he would fit cuz, just like Marley, he's a fanboy, but after being rejected for his creepy habits, he turned villain.
He could be the weird stalker, obssesing over KO´s videos, just like CWC with his sweethearts and the Love Quest.

>Who is she?
>What's their story?
Honestly, lads. Do you even read the OP? Because this one has to be one the least intrusive, most comprehensive and compact OPs ever. What's not to get?

Without being an asshole about it, I think people need to ask what do they want out of these threads when /coc/ means that, anything you post here, you are willing to let go so others can tinker with it, even to the point of not being recognizable from it's original intent.

That's what these are. Any "personal" project becomes a "group" project if you're willing to stay in these threads with said project. If not there's HYWC thread for full-on comics, and the Batman, aka, WOYA thread. And remember the first rule of those threads, if there isn't a Work On Your Art thread, make one.

Not to belabor the point, plus, a bump never hurt anyone.

Asking for more information is not something that should ever be shunned. It is the easiest way to start a conversation with a new character.

Yeah you're all a bunch of sour meanie heads!

What's your point?

I feel the less I know about CWC, the happier I'll be.

So this guy makes weird reality warping imitations of people, right? How does that work is it isn't totally broken, crush all under the sheer mass of fakes?

Or just read the thread, though.

I've gotten two comment about this, even after apologizing for the error, so I'm just going to go ahead and explain where I'm coming from so another user doesn't jump down my throat tomorrow.

The OP says:
>...you are free to post whatever ideas/settings/characters you want...
Which I did.

>... but you have to be OK with other people playing with them (tweaking them, putting them in stories, using them for things, etc.)
Which I am.

>If the OC you are posting is YOURS for something you are personally doing, then it would go to the "How is your webcomic?" threads.
The drawing in question was made without story or personality beyond what is expressed in it. It's part of a set of maid drawings I made for fun and mainly post on imageboards. It's nothing organized or serious, I just like drawing pictures and posting them.

>If you just want feedback on an OC of yours, then it would go in the "donut steel" threads or drawthreads.
I do not.

By posting one here, I thought I was saying "You guys can use this if you want", thus hopefully contributing to the thread. But as I see, that was not the case, which I've been reprimanded for.
I don't mind being corrected if I was out of turn, and I was planning on just coming by and checking the thread just to see where I fumbled. But since it got brought up again, I figured I would need to clarify where I was coming from. Is there any other misunderstanding I'm having?

Attached: SuitUpTa.png (843x1396, 514K)

She has sex with Conrad all day long.

So what's this character do? What's she about? Is she a maid? Does she fight things? Is there a massive pan-dimension mansion that all the filth of the multiverse builds up in and it's her job to clean it out before it organizes into universe eating monsters? What's her boss like? Is the mansion itself her boss?

She meant to be a representation of a janitor like /jp/'s maid character?

This is basically how things happen in the threads when no one is being anal about how things "should" happen. Someone posts a thing (you have done this), then someone else comments on said thing and a dialogue gets going and the thing changes and grows from there.

Recently someone has been persistently anal about what these threads "should" be about chasing out anything new.

hey.
while I'm sure our angry anons are more testy than usual due to the recent news of certain pandas dying out, and while new content is always welcome, I do think it is pretty unclear what you're hoping for here with your posts.
typically the kind of post to be expected is something along the lines of "hey, here's a character I thought up, their name is "___" and they're a "_____" and I was thinking they could be a ______ to ______ or _____" etc...

your post doesn't give much to go on other than
>I drew a thing
which is great and all, but really doesn't give anybody anything to springboard off of?

this thread isn't a art dump. we come here to breathe life into ideas n shit.

tell us a story user. tell us how your story interconnects with the larger Yea Forumsniverse, if at all.

Stuck at the airport /coc/ McDonalds or Panda Express?

Are you the "lurk moar" guy from last week?
You made the exact same comment last time, and it was explained to you why you were wrong, and your only response was "Well, I just don't like it, so it doesn't belong here"
user propose a new idea and people are allow to tinker with it

So do I want to fight monster clowns or giant animals with carts tied to their backs is what you're asking me?

Well gee, a monster clown can be anything, but a giant animal is still an animal. I feel I'd have better odds against something comprehensible.

I could agree on posting character ideas with a clearer premise. Personally, I think posting drawings is the best springboard for ideas, if the design is good, it leaves a lot to the imagination.
Maybe user is a better artist than a writer, and wants to contribute in anyway he can.

I ordered McDonalds today and got a smoothie with what looks like bits of minced rubber lining debris mixed in it.
However, Panda Express is beyond disgusting.

I'd take my chances with the clown.

Understood Anons. I'm used to just jumping in with no preamble, and while that flies on slower places with looser topics, I can see why it would not here. Again, forgive my rudeness, I should have been more conscious of how things were set up.

While I can whip something up for you, usually these drawings are just me emoting to things and scirbbling something out quick. I have had story ideas and such related to these maids, but they're very undeveloped, and I don't want to insult you guys by throwing up an excuse plot with little thought. I'll try to think something up and come back later.

then I would suggest drawing your contribution interacting with the other /coc/ characters or in some way make it clearer what the intent of the character is meant to be. in both art and writing, clearly expressing your thoughts and ideas trumps everything.

Why are you people taking things in this thread so seriously? You guys never made a comic anyways it's all just fantasy bullshit.

Nope. If I wanted to use "lurk moar" you would've seen it in my post.
Good hustle on trying to argue against something as simple as "every thread has a subject" with that "i don't like it, so it's wrong" thing you're trying to pin on me, though.

Have a bumpy on me, user. For your troubles.

When you say subject do you mean /coc/ or do you mean each /coc/ thread having a theme? Because we've tried the theme thing before and saw steep post count drop off.

And, technically, the banner of /coc/ covers much more than just the Yea Forumsverse and related characters. Anything Yea Forums has or ever will create can fall under the /coc/ banner so long as there is at least one person who wants it to.

Say, for example, right now, I were to suggest a book of spells that had the power to origami itself into a robot looking fighter who did battle with a fire demon who wanted to eat it to gain physical form, that would fall under /coc/.

is it okay if I draw lewds of Lovely Ladybug?

sounds okay to me!
(but I'm not bug.)

Holy fuck, bugdoodles, is that you?

Yes!

Attached: hot sexy guys.gif (339x210, 2.99M)

You are the "lurk moar" guy. You been insisting that there's a "subject" to the thread, without explaining what do you mean. It's a community toy chest, so what's the subject?

That's an interesting twist.

So have you found someplace new for the Lovely Ladybug comic to be hosted on yet once it gets going again?

Colby a qt.

Attached: colby returns.png (990x1400, 914K)

remmember paper jam dipper? I always felt that's what his "imitations" were like. Badly drawn, sub par versions of the imitatee's pwer, unable to really communicate outside of saying how great their creator is.

As for why he doesn't flood the world with 'em.... he probably hasn't thought of it.

If there is a villainous motivational coach character, some joke villains could seriously become major problems when no one is looking.

Undercover Colby, what's she been infiltrating?

This thread is now under the complete and total control of the DFC Empire.

You know now that I think about it, if Golden Guardian ever was transported to BQverse for some sort of crossover or whatever, her powers wouldn't work. The bands are powered by magic and there is no magic in Briana's world.

YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS.

they are mobs on the Yea Forums universe?

Several in Chicago.

>unable to really communicate outside of saying how great their creator is
That's perfect. Caleb has this incredibly powerful medallion, the source of his "copying" ability, if he were a little creative, or actually try to improve himself, he could do more complex constructs, instead of producing botched "OC's".
>How does that work is it isn't totally broken, crush all under the sheer mass of fakes?
How long will the copy exist and how many can he make? Maybe a toll? Depends how much he knows the person he's trying to copy?

Attached: colby.png (1060x1500, 390K)

Since (college years) Marley is on a budget: How many costumes could she made? What variations would be on the range of possibility?

Attached: The end of the beginning of the beginning.jpg (1280x1008, 327K)

If it's the same costume, but just altered and modified, then many.

don't know much about the lady bug girl
How the powers work
judging by that image it looks iron man suit-y

While Silver Queen would be at a disadvantage,
Guardian's still got her baseline strength to stack up.

Close, but with force fields that have been heavily modified and re-purposed to be more versatile.

Military grade forcefield generator repurposed into a cool looking suit. Plus a jetpack, and a smart AI to control it. I think that was about it.
The suit itself is just a suit with padding and kneepads and such, not full-on cyborg armour.

True, at least she'd make a good baseline soldier.

It'd definitely be an issue if Iron Assailant gets transported as well. Non-magical bracers AND a much higher baseline to start with.

Attached: 1561943216416.png (1735x2455, 437K)

If that happened, Briana would probably have to be the one to deal with her, at least physically.

alright you lot, stop loafing about.
it's Sunday morning fer cryin out loud.

Not me, I work on the weekends.

Attached: 2018JAN23_spring_and_summer_wip_rough_01.jpg (720x4294, 907K)

I believe it was agreed that, while older Katya is physically stronger than older Audrey, the latter compensates with speed and superior fighting skills.

Not that I wouldn't want to see a fight between Briana and Katya.

congrats on the GG subreddit

do I go around congratulating you on YOUR malignant tumors??

>GG subreddit
Says all that needs to be said about the nature of GG.

Everything has useless-yet-self-important morons who pull crap like this.

we all know who created that reddit
the same idiot who started the kickstarter and the patreon

Attached: Capture.png (1355x894, 468K)

Oh wow

Two. One is always the spare if one needs to be repaired laying on the workbench.

>I believe it was agreed that, while older Katya is physically stronger than older Audrey, the latter compensates with speed and superior fighting skills.
True, but if Katya's bracers still work, Audrey would basically be fighting under a one-hit-kill handicap. Very risky.

BQverse has tech that would make the people from Audrey's time think they werw in a science fiction novel, I'm sure they can rustle up a big gun or exosuit or something for her to use.

Why would the magic not work?
We never established any hard and set rules about where the magic comes from in regards tot he bracers or if magic in the GG setting is fixed to objects or something that needs to exist ambiently to fuel magic objects.

If it's just for plot reasons, then that's fine.

There is no magic period in BQverse. Characters who use magic for their powers can't cast spells, creatures held together by magical means like golems fall apart, and magical artifacts lost their effects. Magic, without any exception, simply does not function or exist in BQverse.

OK, let me think of something I can actually contribute.

Last thing I was doing was writing that GG meets The Crusaders script.
Is that something worth continuing?

Why dont you just rename these threads to Golden Girl generals? Its literally the only subjects you all discuss and get work done for aside from that one artist that likes Ladybug so much.

Why don't you ever reply to me when I try to discuss something that isn't Golden Girl then?

If people don't reply, then it's not a discussion. I can't talk about things all by myself.

Sounds interesting.

Why not?
GoldenGirl and Ladybug general,
formerly known as /coc/ general.
But is right, its those two themes that unify anons.

What is each of the Crusaders best at? I figure each of them would want to challenge GG to some contest of skill/ability they feel they have the upper hand in.

And the only real reason why I'm even discussing GG right now is because I don't mind GG and it's one of the few things that actually gets people to reply so the thread isn't just necro bumped all weekend.

>

But how much can she lift?

I'm around, honest. Had a baby shower to attend last weekend.

Still gonna try submitting to hiveworks. Getting the first issue remake together has taken longer than anticipated, but that's pretty much the Lovely Ladybug biopic in a nutshell isn't it? 7 years in and Mar still isn't out of Los Palos!

Failing that... I dunno, it might be possible to put it on the Patreon? The actual patrons don;'t seem to care too much about content being exclusive, so I've been making posts non-paywalled anyway... pic related.

Freeglass has been saying we should reformat for Twitter, but man, I really hate Twitter. Maybe it's the writer in me.

Attached: the kosmic kirbybug finalish.png (400x400, 24K)

If hiveworks doesn't work out, you could always try something like smackjeeves. They're still around, it all still works.

Twitter would be good for exposure, but it's total ass for actual navigation or comic reading. That's not even getting into all the other problems with twitter. It's like a site for youtube comments without the videos.

Fair point

We need one of those NO LOAFING signs to improve productivity something-eight percent.

Yeah, we've been running a Twitter for a while now and honestly the most engagement we ever got was when the Warframe account retweeted a screenshot I took on my Switch. I dunno, maybe Twitter isn't the market for shonky pixel doodles and comics about midget kamen riders.
But what if someone only reads the end and thinks it says DO LOAFING? Or Franklin Delano Loafing, our nation's laziest president.

I'm not sure twitter is a market for anything.

she is a big girl.

Boy O´War would challenge her to discus
Kid Valor would choose sword fight
Great Glory best her at the shooting range
Doug Infinity would go for wrestling or boxing
Rad boy decides for running, but math would be better since GG could beat him.

Attached: the crusader.png (1397x915, 402K)

>Doug Infinity
Bitch, it's Doug INFINITE, and don't you dare retcon a name that based.

Attached: 5d4622f084cb7907e034502184698dcbc9afcf7b.jpg (1206x1768, 343K)

>Doug / Audrey mixed wrasslin
lewd.
>the robot boy is bad at math.
>blames loss on GG using her boobs to cheat.
I have several questions.

specifically, how is this story supposed to play out, actually?
is GG supposed to beat all of the heroes at their own game and get rejected because of her breasts? what kind of advantage does having massive knockers give you in discus, sword fighting, marksmanship, etc. that isn't just a rehash of the Iron Girl strips?

Doug challenges GG to an arm wrestling contest, loses because her boobs make it so he can't pin her arm down.

But that might be extremely painful for GG.

Rad Boy loses to math because he can't see the question due to GG's boobs being in the way.

>Rad Boy loses to math because he can't see the question due to GG's boobs being in the way.
Go sit in the corner and think about what you just said.

Is it a chalkboard getting erased sort of thing?

BLOT OUT THE SUN type of situation.

His line of sight to the math problem is obscured, so GG is able to answer it before him.

>get rejected because of her breasts
How can they reject her for something they can't see/comprehend?
At best they can accuse her of cheating, which GG could not deny nor agree with due to embarrassment.

>Go sit in the corner and think about what you just said.
I don't think he can see the problems here...

let's just keep tossing shit at the wall and see what sticks.

Accusations of cheating is the ending I was thinking of when starting the first part of the script since that had been discussed.

I don't think her boobs need to interfere in every contest for that outcome to happen, but it really depends on what's "funny".
If each contest needs a joke or a gag or something, then each contest should be something that lends itself to that purpose rather than trying to ram a joke in with something that doesn't really allow for it.

Doug Infinite is raw power.
Rad is smarts.
Glory Girl is precision.
What do Kid Valor and Boy O'War have?

>How can they reject her for something they can't see/comprehend?
>At best they can accuse her of cheating, which GG could not deny nor agree with due to embarrassment.
thank you, Super Literal Man, for clarifying.
No, the Crusaders can not perceive Audrey's breasts.
They wind up accusing her of cheating because they can't comprehend how she is beating her (with her boobs... somehow... accidentally...)
Hilarity.

>Super Literal Man
We need a superhero with that name, and we need it now!

Oh, right, Boy O'War is a descendant of Nike.
His contest should be one of speed.
Not sure how GG beats him at that since the boobs hitting the finish line tape before him gag wouldn't work since they cannot be perceived.

So would that make Kid Valor an endurance contest? No, there's no quick way to visually show that.
I'm really at a loss with him. Maybe he refuses to compete with her since he goes last and sees all the "cheating" going on.

And Glory Girl wouldn't have much of a reason to be in the contest since she wants GG on the team.

>Kid Valor
Aa was stated he could challenge her to either a swordsfight, or another knightly thing, like a joust (though, I don't remember if Kid Valor can do jousting or not).

If it is a Joust, I think GG can win because her breast could give her extra cushion between her body and the shield.

>Boy O'War
I think a discussion here is the best option, and the reason for Audrey winning is not be her breasts directly, but what they caused, her immunity to the Code. Let me explain.

They take a topic and they must debate, but due to the Code, Boy O'War can see beyond a black and white logic, while Audrey can, so whenever she points out something completely logical (for us), Boy O'War can't process it and panics/gets frustrated. This part is just clever writing.

>Glory Girl wants GG on the team
That makes things even easier then, she can choose a contest and lose on purpose, much to the frustration of the others. (Unless she is like one of those anime characters who no matter if it is friend or foe, they never lose)

>Boy O'War can see beyond a black and white logic
can't see beyond a black and white logic*

Sorry

Would they be challenging her to carnival games?
I forgot if this was part of the clown king storyline or not.

Different story line. The introductions to the Crusaders came about because it was weird introducing them with the Clone King.

Kid Valor can do anything a knight can do, but a lot of these suggestions sound super painful for GG.
Like she's going to be really bruised by the end of this.

A race would be a better visual representation than a debate since each event would need to be like two panels each showing what the contest is and then the results. Keeping the pacing quick should be a priority.

She could throw it or just sit the competition out since she thinks the boys are being silly about the whole thing.

>I forgot if this was part of the clown king storyline or not.
it is not.

>a lot of these suggestions sound super painful for GG.
this.
sounds like someone has an abuse fetish...
>or just sit the competition out since she thinks the boys are being silly about the whole thing.
this.
Rad Lad should opt out of the vote as well... for reasons.

>Like she's going to be really bruised by the end of this.

It all depends how it is portrayed, if she ends up in a more Tom & Jerry style bruised, then the final punchline could be she is accepted, but has to come for daily physical training, which makes her faint.

I like these threads cause I can't draw for shit, and all of my idea's are just edgy garbage

Why would Rad Lad also opt out? He thinks he's a real boy.

Attached: IMG_20190728_202912~2.jpg (1249x1560, 181K)

Yes, exactly.

I think it works better if she doesn't get in.

Are you saying something like
"Congratulations on you're victory! Perhaps someday when you don't CHEAT we'll let you in"

This marks my first contribution to these threads, so forgive me if this post isn't 100 percent up to thread standards. This is "La Bomba" , the explosive super luchador from the isle of fire,"Isla Ignisia". His secret identity is that of factory worker Merlin Modesto. He got into lucha as means to make extra money on the side but what he didn't know was that his venture into the ring would awaken a long dormant fighting spirit. A spirit that could incidentally conjure up scalding flames and block shattering explosions. With that discovery, Merlin decided to quit his factory work and become a full time luchador. Sensible enough right? Well, on his down time he dedicated himself to prowling the streets in an unending fight against crime. His career takes him to every corner of the island, which makes it all the easier for him to scrub the filth of crime right off the map.
What he didn't realize, was that his selfless goal to aid his fellow countrymen would result in a sea of antagonists rising up from the muck of crime for a chance at being his iconoclast.

Attached: Labomba.png (1776x1140, 183K)

More like "We just can't be on the same team as a cheater."
But doing things that way to villains might be acceptable?

How far is honor extended by those guys?

How about:
"Congratulations on your... dubious... passing. Now the 1st of the 20 steps to prove your merit is done! Please come back tomorrow at 06:00 am for the 2nd set of tests."

Luchador are underappreciated in these threads.
We have maybe two lucha libre type of characters and that's not enough to have a colorful sports story with heels and faces and competing companies/managers.

I went with the lucha angle because I wanted a character that moved around alot. I think it's a bit boring when superheroes stick to any given area, and the essence of adventure in my mind, is to always keep moving forward.
The setting of the ring aswell also provides a great deal of story potential, because you could meet your worst enemy, or make the best of friends. I was even considering a story where a kingpin esc manager goes after Modesto for refusing to take a fall to his champs. Alternatively , my mind is abuzz with the idea of a sinister six esc team of villains who each represent some manner of extinguishing fire. Water, earth, incombustible foam, etc.

Some sort of gas that sucks the oxygen out of a room.

They use that in server rooms to end electrical fires in a hurry.

There you go, now you're playing with fire. Infact, as soon as you mentioned it I got the idea of making this gas character a chick.

Would asbestos work? Is that too weird a theme for a luchador to have?

It could work, especially if he's made of the stuff in the first place.

So, why exactly are most of the Crusaders so antagonistic with Golden Girl, again?

>Freeglass has been saying we should reformat for Twitter,

Do not settle for any site that forces you to downsample the images in any form.

Because of that one cover of superman not getting to join the legion because everyone votes "no"
That is the only reason i've heard so far

As I promised, I tried to update Katya's dialogues to have her surfer lingo in this past script.

New Girl, Old Foe Part 2

TITLE PANEL:
Audrey trying to hiding part of her Golden Girl costume between her chest, as from behind, Katya tries seeing what she is doing.

PANEL 1:
At school, Audrey looks around ashamed, as Katya Stranitsa, a girl who looks just like her, only her hair is blonde and she dresses more "fashionable" clings to her arm.
>KATYA: "Zis is sick, I can't believe I made a best dude!"
>AUDREY: "You know we just meet this morning... right, Katya?"

PANEL 2:
Audrey sees how everyone is whispering about them, Katya keeps talking.
>KATYA: "I heard there is a beach zat is pumping, ve should get you a soft board and go!"
>AUDREY (Narration): What's worse... that she only clings to me, or that she clearly is Iron...

PANEL 3:
Katya hugs Audrey, much to her embarrassment, from behind them, we see how Iris walks firmly towards them and how Billy faints after seeing the hug.
>KATYA: "Ve must go, I don't vant to get sketchy, and zen look like a shubie."
>AUDREY: "Eeeek!!"
>AUDREY (Narration): But it's not like I can do much or else I'm gonna end up like-

PANEL 4:
Iris catches up to them with a photo of Iron Girl on hand.
>IRIS: "Ok, everyone, if you pay attention you will see that the new student is no other than the villain Iron Girl!"
>AUDREY (Narration): Iris! Wasn't she homesick?

PANEL 5:
Iris shows the photography to a student.
>IRIS: "She looks exactly like Golden Girl, except for TWO BIG differences! And who looks just like Katya in the school?!"
>STUDENT A: "Ehm... Audrey?"
>IRIS: "Exactly! And who does Audrey look exactly like?"
>STUDENT A: "Ehm... Katya?"

PANEL 6:
An angry Katya confronts Iris, who looks in horror as most students start booing Iris.
>IRIS: "Golden Girl! I can't believe this!"
>KATYA: "Gos viDarnia! I mean, vho is this barney? Don't come charging my bros!"
>IRIS: "She is clearly faking that accent!"
>STUDENT: "Get a life, Iris!"

PANEL 7:
Iris runs away, Katya clings to Audrey again, while Billy faints one more time.
>AUDREY (Narration): The good side is, she doesn't believe I'm Golden Girl...
>KATYA: "So, if you don't surf, how you dudes chill out in your freetime?"
>AUDREY (Narration): The bad side, I did get "third weight" to carry around school.

Again, any opinions and corrections are welcome.

>Why would Rad Lad also opt out?
For reasons.

Not these reasons, however.
(nice pic, tho.)

I don't like the "cheater" angle. I don't feel like that's the sort of first impression between peers that can be shaken off easily without breeding lingering animosity between them. We eventually want Audrey and the Crusaders to build a mutual respect for each other...
>How far is honor extended by those guys?
Being a dirty cheat would be about as low as you can get.
Instant disqualification from consideration and branded for life.

I'm thinking perhaps the one that's opting out of the vote is taking the opportunity to sabotage Audrey's try out as a prank. "for reasons"...

But also, boobs... somehow.

>thread standards
You really are new.

He is cool. Dig his design, his backstory.

>Merlin Modesto
Like the MM, but Modesto with Merlin sounds like a show magician. Is Modesto a real surname?

Its an artifact.
A little wooden statue of a sitting person with a question mark on his blank face.
When the magic is activated the wooden face glows green and looks like a green translucent gem.

What? Its no retcon, just wrong remembered

She will not win because of her boobs but instead her boobs.
She wins Discus, because she is an athlete and uses her boobs to increase her spinning. She wins swordfight because she is has a big agility (or her breast make her unpredictable for Kid Valor to predict her moves). She wrestles Doug because she is clever enough (or her breast makes it hard for him to pin down, he bounces off). She is better at the shooting range because she calculates the shooting (or rests the weapon on her breast). She beat Rad in math because he is quick but forgots a little detail and calculates the answer for his calculation (or GGs breast accidental hit the time button to answer the question).

Here, thats how it looks like. With great power comes gret responsibility.

If the cover homage isnt enough Its mostly because she is a superhero. The Crusader themself are from adventure books and have the feeling they will be pushed back by cape comics.
And they think girls dont belong in adventure, Great Glory doesnt count as one, she is a honorary boy!

Then just change cheating to "You fight dirty" and they assume she does that because she has no powers.

There are a lot of grammar issues in this. And I don't mean Katya's broken accent.

>The Crusader themself are from adventure books and have the feeling they will be pushed back by cape comics
too meta for this era.
Golden GIRL characters don't have the self-awareness for all that. no one can break 4th wall so knowing what genre of comic they're from can never be part of their motivations.
please reserve that kind of thinking for your Bullion/Golden Guardian AUs.

>girls dont belong in adventure, Great Glory doesnt count as one, she is a honorary boy!
this part is fine. though it may be a little immature of the boys if all 4 of them think this way, I can see at least one of them believing this.

Great Glory never made sense for the time period, desu.

Some of us tried telling them that at the time, but we were outvoted.

>There are a lot of grammar issues in this
Actually writing them down would help fixing them, just sayin

Neither does Sarah Sterling.
Or any of the S.O.S.
Or military defense robots that thinks it is a real boy.

You were outvoted because there is a reasonable, good-faith understanding and acceptance of the fact that this is a comic book universe set within another fictional universe populated by superheroes that while is based around 1950's America and the Comic Code Authority's influence on silver age storytelling, is *not* a 1:1 reflection of that time's more discriminating cultural views and restrictions.

Golden Girl is not meant to be a realistic documentary of it's time period. These are exceptional characters in a fictional world. Our use of historical accuracy is for flavor and fun.

>AUDREY (Narration): Good news: she doesn't believe I'm Golden Girl...

>AUDREY (Narration): Bad news: I now have a "third weight" to carry around at school.

Or it could be up side and down side. I don't know what phrases were in use in the 50s.

>too meta for this era.
Who said they are afraid? They just have the feeling that she is dangerous to them. Just like the Code stops them from seeing her breast, it fogs them to know why they oppose her.

>though it may be a little immature of the boys if all 4 of them think this way
Its the code or the time period their comic is published that influence them.
Besides like wrote Great Glory is the little anachronism, maybe similar to the Golden Age heroines a uniqueness of the creator. Thats why Great Glory isnt that opposed to Golden Girl as the boys.
Besides the comic medium always had strong women that were not only eye candy.

Good post. Its more a reflection of that period and try something unique with the setting.

>Neither does Sarah Sterling.
She's a hybrid of Wonder Woman and Batman.

spam.

Can we describe her as Batman-type just because /coc/ created a mentor for GoldenGirl?
How about she is a WonderWoman + BlackCat hybrid?

Stop.

DC did that before

I'd like to see more of that soupervillain from a while back. That was a clever idea, whichever one of you came up with it.

Any descriptors for us to go off of so we can figure out to whom you are referring?

Cute

I mean, Batman type just because she is the mentor?

That's how she was conceived, as a sort of mix of Wonder Woman and early Silver Age/Adam West Batman. How do you honestly not see that?

Yeah his both his first and last name a real spanish names. I was confused to find out merlin was a spanish name, but regardless I thought it fit.

Because her costume reminds me more of phantomlady or superman. I dont see Batman in her.

Not visually. In terms of overall character as a classic gung-ho "Well done, old chum!" do-gooder.

The context of these threads make that image more lewd than it has to be.

I would think that a good description would be part wonder woman, part Bruce Wayne

Her dynamic with GG is where she takes more inspiration from Adam West's Batman.

She's a wealthy philanthropist that moonlights as a superhero with a young ward.
If anyone's costume is like Phantom Lady it's Donna Dynamo.
