Absolutely not, but I have no doubt in my mind that shattering is something done as an absolute last resort and not just thrown around every other day. The Diamonds are stubborn and have a one-track mind, but they're not stupid enough to shatter Pink's "court" just because of a disruption.

Anyway the real answer is, he's a cartoon character who lives in a world where people are basically decent, just sometimes misguided or hurt in some way.

Well there are things you can do to help speed that process up, but it's going to take a lot of effort and speaking as someone who gets kicked around by depression on a day to day basis it's not easy. There really should have been more episodes that actually strained Steven's ability to just shrug things off out of kindness. I wouldn't want him to be an edgelord or anything, but for fuck's sake, he's 11 and admits to people that he feels his motherly figures resent him for Rose being absent because of him. That's a kind of upbringing that would fuck up any kid, and little boys shouldn't have the unyielding, unrealistic patience that Steven does.

I never tortured any small animals an purpose. I killed a few frogs when I was a kid by accident, and when I was told what I did - by my parents who have never once hit me or yelled at me - I cried and regretted my actions.

It's mostly the incredibly cancerous fanbase, and a few members of the crew being active on social media, but the show itself is really harmless.
It has some content that definitely can work to fuel LGBT discourse, but it's in undertones, not overtones.
/pol/ loves to completely misrepresent the show by taking stuff out of context. For example, there is one episode where one of the main characters friends is supposed to sing in front of a crowd, but gets terrible stagefright, so the main character puts on her costume (which is a flashy dress) and performs for her. People then take screencaps of the scene and claim it's trans-agenda.

If you've never watched it, give it a shot. It has a somewhat similar way of telling the story to Adventure Time - for the first half of the show only about 10% of the episodes directly contribute to the main plot, while the rest is episodic adventures. There is a lot of foreshadowing/lorebuiding in those filler episodes, though.
Watch the first 10 episodes or so, see how you feel about them. Just a fair warning - I personally really hate the first 3 or 4 eps, they almost made me quit the show completely. The main character is really obnoxious there.

It's more pro healthy love than straight up just "LGBT is good". There's no homophobia in the world of SU so the fact that, say, the characters of Ruby and Sapphire are in a relationship is only seen as brave because they've broken away from the antagonistic enemy's regime rather than just the fact they're not straight.
