It normally goes on a 1-10 scale, and one of the attributes is Intelligence. A stat of 2 in INT means the character is, well, dumb.

Just finished the season.. when is the next? Was kind of underwhelming. All the things I expected to happen with sasha didn't, and it looks like it's back to status quo of her living with the toads.. disappointing. Was hoping destruction of the tower means a free for all in the political environment of amphibia, and that she has to stay with Anne..

They probably didn’t want the status quo to change too much. The 3-4 lore episodes we get a season will advance the story, but they still need one offs so people don’t feel lost when watching re runs

You never go full lore in the first season
Start simple and cute, and once you’ve amassed a decent fan base, THEN you can get crazy

Not very dimensional with Sasha, and now that shes back with the toads it will continue not to go anywhere

Depending on what board you're posting in, when people say lore they can just mean high stakes and continuity.
I don't know how hard the showrunners want to delve into that. I have a very strong feeling that Amphibia hasn't quite figured out its tone yet and will come more into its own in season 2.

I think my biggest problem with the show right now is that almost none of the plotlines actually seem to use the setting in any significant way. You can take most of the plotlines and use any other cartoon's setting and characters and they'd work just as well (with exceptions like the plot episodes, Cursed!, Snow Day, maybe a few others.). Anne even points out multiple times how Amphibia has almost 1:1 analogues to things like Thanksgiving, Groundhogs Day, America's Got Talent etc. What's the point of creating an entirely new world if it's basically just Earth with frog people?
Gravity Falls had a lot of 'filler' episodes too, but atleast these episodes always had some unique cryptid central to the plot. In Amphibia the premise of the show mostly exists for gags and set dressing, and to provide a third act bug/fish monster to appear so a character can learn some lesson while fighting it.
Hopefully season 2 actually explores Amphibia more and centers less episodes around slice-of-life stuff. You can do those in an Earth setting too.

I think the two are related. He's honest about how badly off the stand is, the Plantars are poor, and as a result his IOUs aren't worth much because people know his stand isn't pulling in the big bucks.

He stole from the town but the whole valley gets to vote, he didn't steal from them so they still vote for him. It hasn't been fully explored in the setting yet but the running theory is this is a system set up by toads to keep toads in power.
