Memes aside looks like a new Mask film has been in the works for a while now.

If Carrey wont do it, who would you guys want to play Stanley or would you focus on a new character?

Bill Hader, in my opinion, would do a great Stanley Ipkiss
Maybe Josh Peck
Who is ready to MAKE AMERICA GREEN AGAIN ?
this.
He couldn't make it the britbong land, how is he going to maga?
yeah maybe not
I wouldn't mind seeing it rotate, sort of like an interconnected anthology like the later volumes of the comic.
That said, I wouldn't mind seeing Andy Samberg playing Stanley.
>If Carrey wont do it, who would you guys want to play Stanley or would you focus on a new character?
If Carrey won't do it, DON'T FUCKING BOTHER. Did they learn nothing from Son of the Mask?
I wouldn’t want Carrey to do it, guy pretty must lost his touch and charm by now. I could see Simon Pegg do it
Modern Carrey would do it, but that's not going to automatically make it good. I don't know if he can even still play such an energetic character.
The next movie is apparently going to star a woman.
That happens in the original comic so it's fine.
I just hope they bring in Walter as well.
What's with Yea Forums's sudden obsession with this?
As long as the next person to do it is charismatic and funny I don't care who does it.
If Carrey and Diaz aren't comming back, I'm not interested.
SMOKING!!!
The cartoon was better than the comic.
New character, no mention of past films (ESPECIALLY the second one). And get Walter involved somehow.
The cartoon was the best mix of the film and comic.
The comic of the animated series was best all rounder.
Honestly don't think I ever read it. Will give it a shot.
They should just adapt the gangster story.
Start where it starts, a cop who had the mask secretly buried gunned down, a mafia pushover putting it on just before he gets wacked, cop girlfriend gets investigation scenes and is the main heroine by the end, and Walter of course is there to be main antagonist cause the mafia is Cannon fodder for gangster Bighead.
It's weird that the omnibus of the animated series comic starts with the adaptation of the film that includes the deleted scene of Peggy getting killed by Dorian despite the fact that Peggy replaces Tina as the love interest in the show.
They're trying to make it the new Sneed.
Definitely a new character, Carrey's pretty much lost all his charisma and it would be pointless to bring him back. Focusing on new characters is the point of the original comic.
I'd like if they brought in Walter and Don Mozzo.
Near the end, it goes back to the comic continuity to explain how the Mask gets into Gotham City, and it inexplicably has it in its movie design now.
Who keeps making these Mask threads? There were two yesterday with this exact same question.
is this bruce timm artstyle ?
This one I think is sincere because the last two were ruined by Yea Forumsedit.
I actually am glad that The Mask as a property seems to have some upcoming projects.
>directed by Stuart Gordon
>starring Jeffrey Combs
>faithful to the comic
Then I'd watch it.
the fat jokes alone would be worth it
Back in 1992? Sure.
Walton Goggins as the Mask.
>Memes aside
There are The Mask memes?
