Exactly what type of horror elements do you think are going to be present in this movie?

zombie universe, cancerverse

Body inflation

Something tame and unextreme

The obvious would be cosmic horror with Shuma-Gorath, but they could also do body horror with the Cancerverse and spells misfiring and disocciative type stuff with wackjob Wanda.

They can’t go too crazy or otherwise it gets banned in China. Domestic numbers can’t carry these films anymore

White Genocide

> mcu
> horror
LOL impossible, horror movie are effective because main character are helpless against any threat in those horror movie, these super hero are too powerful to be spooked by any horror element.

This movie is going to end with Wanda uttering "More Mutants"

>"No, more mutants"

Fuuuuuuuuck I hate the influence china has on Hollywood

I guess Thor 3 is out

GENIUS

It will be just like Dr Strange but with a few cheap jump scares.

Its good that they can do whatever in the TV shows they're pushing so hard

I mean Thor 4

>otherwise it gets banned in China.
Does it really? they allowed Coco and FFH despite featuring skeletons and Coco was about death itself. Also they hate time travelling and they allowed Endgame

They'll just pull out any gay implicating scenes like Bohemia Rhapsody.

prolly Wanda getting tentacle raped by some monster
w-wouldn't that be horrifying? I shudder just thinking about it

Psychedelic, maybe body horror. The director has a great vision for terror actually. He directed what I consider to be the best Hellraiser film sans the original, Inferno.

Wanda's cleavage frightening all the homosexuals in the audience.

None because it'll be a movie for Chinese kids like all the other ones.

>what type of horror
feminism

This movie will be Triumph and Torment but instead of Dr. Doom saving his mom, it'll be Scarlet Witch saving Quicksilver.

Sorry I just time travelled here from '97. Are people seriously going to watch a movie called Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness?

Like seriously? Regular people?

What exactly is your point here. That the title should be more generic and boring?

Based Wanda

Phyrexian horror

Wanda is pretty cool, but I'm not gonna lie, her getting BTFO by Strange was pretty fucking kino.

Was that from House of M?

>Death making a quick appearance in some visual metaphorical sense in relation to The Snap
>a Marvel Zombies iteration of all the dead Avengers which are brought into existence by Baron Mordo (which mainly includes both an intimidating Grey Vision and a horrifying rotting corpse of Quicksilver, both of which are used to torment Scarlet Witch, and an Iron Man corpse meant to make Doctor Strange feel guilty of using Tony as a device meant to fulfill a scenario instead of a human being with a precious life and family, causing him to doubt if that was really the only way)
>slow-burns and loud jump scares during the visually horrifying sequences involving Nightmare
>a climatic magical battle inside the Cancerverse
>Bagul from Sinister (Derrickson's 2012 film) making a short cameo
Some HP Lovecraft inspired imagery would also be great.

Gonna be odd cutting out half of a film.

>it'll be Scarlet Witch saving Quicksilver
Vision*

Also from '97 here. Yeah, they should've kept the title nice and sweet like that new Batman & Robin film coming out in a few weeks.

>choosing a sex doll over your own brother
JUST

>disney
>horror
Nice one, mate

Yes.

We could go the ultimate route and have them be the same.

>what type of horror elements do you think are going to be present in this movie?

Terrible humor, most likely.

Yeah, I know dr strange comics suck in 97 but hey it’s not bad now

I'd like that

Whichever ones the corporate boardroom meeting concludes will make the most return on investment based on cold, dispassionate, exploitative market research with absolutely zero personal emotional investment.

Yeah, Mouse brainwashed normies and Yea Forumsmlr beyond repair. They'll watch 2 hour of farting ass on screen if it has Dinsey logo at the begining.

Wanda getting tentacled.

Do you ever hear yourself talk?

t. Lisa Simpson

>Strange: We can't bring Pietro's soul back to our world, Wanda. There's no body for him to inhabit!
>Vision's Ghost: I... I know of a body he could have. Anything for Wanda.
And then she fucks her robo-brother.

This. Wizards of the Coast clearly wants to be in the MCU anyway.

China doesn't have a blanket ban on skeletons in spite of what people said after Blizzard self-censored World of Warcraft before PRC censors even looked at the game. China bans certain kinds of violence and depictions of the dead due to cultural reasons, and Blizzard just chose to avoid a lot of that by removing a bunch of bones. That said, China hates our horror movies in general. The Conjuring is the biggest modern horror franchise, and they don't even bother trying to send those movies over to China.

They also don't ban time travel outright, but they have banned a bunch of stuff in the past due to some random and arbitrary reasons. The main one is that they don't want movies that involve characters altering Chinese history, or those which misrepresent Chinese history (or at least that censor's view of Chinese history). Other movies which do those things for other nations and societies have also been banned, but it's far more inconsistent. Given the time travel in Endgame involved very little real world history it's unsurprising that movie didn't have any trouble getting into China.

I fully expect universe hopping where we see quick glances at other universes while they duke it out with the bad guy

Universes I think we’re likely to see, based on what actors would be willing to come back for a small role

>Hydra controlled universe, have winter soldier Bucky show up as their Captain Hydra, he’s still brainwashed and obviously doesn’t know either of them so he tries to murder their asses. Also get to see Nazi-esque imagery, maybe even have the guy who played Red Skull in infinity war show up on a tv as the leader of the world order. All other avengers are explicitly said to be dead
>Universe where Dormammu won
>Universe where Thor is evil and rules humanity
>zombieverse
>cancer verse
>A visit to the ruined remains of the alternate universe most of WandaVision will take place in (A 1950’s setting with Vision probably gone mad plus with his kids he made)

Having to look at Benedryl Cabbagepatch is horror enough.
