gentleman, gentlemen, please, can't we just agree on one thing?
All streaming services are cancer.
another great thread here on Yea Forums
since when is it a reboot
since when is it a series? i thought it was just a movie.
why wouldn't it be a continuation?
While I certainly would not invest in Netflix and expect their
"hemorrhaging of money despite having nowhere to grow" to shut down their business within the decade, thinking that there is anything wrong with being released on Netflix is pretty out-of-touch. Sure, they release a lot of crap, but they've also funded some of the best movies to be made in the last 5 years. They're basically just a distribution platform easily able to compete (in terms of eyeballs) with the decaying platforms of cable and, to a lesser extent, theater releases.
The mentality that "it's released on Netflix so it's going to be shit" is either plain Luditry or some nonsensical /pol/ agenda thing half-formed from ads they saw on twitch.tv.
That said, yeah, it'll suck.
>it's a nonsensical agenda to think netflix might be pushing an agenda
It’s not a reboot, it’s a movie that uses the original series continuity that continues the last episode, except that Filburt was on the rocket aswell.
Is this a thinly veiled attempt to find out who has the time machine?
I'm just waiting for the moment they announce Rugrats reboot/sequel so I can make a thread bitching about how that's not a good idea.
i hope rocko gets into a gay orgy with graphic detail
Me too, fuck, I’ve been waiting for a Rocko sex scene my whole life
The reboot was announced ages ago.
Why was Rocko in space?
Nickelodian was on a massive reboot/continuation kick a couple years ago where they green lit a lot of things Like the Hey Arnold Jungle movie and the Legends of the Hidden Temple movie. Rocko and Zim were two of them that Nick buried for really no reason.
I read the first issue of the recent comic. If it's on par with that it'll be okay but nothing amazing.
I think the thing is some people have put this series on a pedestal and "okay" will get the shat on harder than Legend Of Korra.
