>Prince disguised as Pauper getting turned into a llama
>Pauper disguised as Prince having a romance (complete with a surprisingly nice song) with the Prince's fiance, who is into the "Prince"
>Yzma's scheme involving blotting out the sun to preserve her beauty through the summoning of a death god
It might work in something aimed at more general or adult audiences, but in a shorter movie aimed at including young audiences, you can only fit so much in at a time.
