Drawing your source of power from a concept the opponent could manipulate or outright remove seems like an easy win for the opponent. And if they still want to conclude against him yes, there were better ways to display it. In Ben 10 there are numbered Dimensions 12 and 23 that have some different physical properties but function in 3-D space as it's all still within a universe of possibly infinite alternate dimensions. But actual 8D squids could be a possibility. Imps have used an 8D prison before. This is a bit counterintuitive with the recent arc, but DC is extremely bloated and constantly retconning itself, and it was more like a tool for containing imps than a force where they'd have dominion. You can make the argument that the current 6D is Outerversal, but the Emotional Spectrum save the new emotion is still beneath it.

Look, the most important parts is that Hal has killed things as powerful as Alien X before while Ben has never faced anyone like Hal before, and Toph has less power and finesse over sand than Gaara does and all lightning attacks in Avatar are ludicrously choreographed. Everything else is trivia.

Isnt Deathwing just a big dragon in terms of powers? I dont remember him having any other abilities in terms of magic or special skills.

Deathwing is the dragon aspect of earth, empowered by the titans (those all powerful fucks from the Antorus raids) who tend to reshape planets and the ones responsible for our defenses against the old gods and all that shit.
Additionally, he stole power from all the other aspects to empower himself and some other shit.
Basically him, Malygos, Alextrasza, Ysera, and Nozdormu were turned into demigods, and he managed to power himself up to like, 75% god which is pretty decent by lore standards

Basically, the matchup would be good because they're both doomsday dragons that deletex the old version of their respective mmo by just waking up.
