Do you think stretching it out like they did for season 2/3 with both together only making up half a traditional season will help them continue on? Apparently Netflix is slowing down in making new content or continuing things past season 3 unless its a mega-hit. But with so little content here, and such a low budget for it anyway, it might be cheap enough to be worth padding out. They seemed rather desperate for support for a season 4 at comic con, and with the new season just about to drop they should be starting work on season 4 if they want to release it anytime soon.

Honestly, I don't know. I feel that DreamWorks is trying to have their cake and eat it. The original plan was just a season, but DreamWorks ordered 52 Episodes. I'm pretty sure they learned from Voltron to not bank their success on one show, but they're still hoping to get that show. I feel that they're hoping that She-Ra ends up being a success, but they're ducking away when it begins to slip up.

There were 13*4 episodes ordered and they're pretty much finished. Netflix is splitting seasons up because they need people to keep their subscriptions going instead of binging it all at once and dropping the subscription. Voltron also had split seasons, except they realized it was a trashfire and dropped the last few seasons quickly.
