How many years will it take to top it?

How many years will it take to top it?

when does avatar 2 come out

By law of inflation we will certainly see something top it in next 10 years even if it isn't objectively as well received.

I imagine nothing the only thing I can imagine topping it would be a new series of Harry Potter movies if J.K finna died and the IP was given to someone who knew how to write

box office or quality? I'm assuming box office because Endgame kinda sucked

Given the current movie business model about 5 years.

Theatres could die out to much before anyone does honestly. Why do you think so many projects are already moving to Disney +? They’re just getting ahead of the market curb. Could be #1 forever based on the entire entertainment media market changing over the next 10 years

>When Brainlets attempt to be edgy

LMAO

Okay user.

lol cope

This. And its market Curve, not curb.

If Phase 4/5 culminates with a bigger movie than Endgame, the Anti-Disneys would hopefully throw themselves into traffic. I personally promise not to slow down or veer away.

depends on how well the "new" cast will be received compared to the OG Avengers

>Doctor Strange
meh first movie, MVP in Infinity War, sequel sounds interesting

>Captain Marvel
lol

>Tom Holland Spiderman
Popular from the start until now, has a sequel hook with his identity being exposed

>Black Panther
boring character but brings in blacks to the theaters

if their sequel movies suck then there's no chance Endgame will be topped. They also need a big villain, so they better not waste Dr Doom for just one movie

Secret wars in 10 years or a whole new different thing other than capeshit.

>They also need a big villain
I really want Willem Defoe Annihilous.
He's wasted as Aquaman's uncle.

When Marvel decides to make Agents of Atlas to appeal to all the Asian countries. Throw in a token black and white characters here and there to appeal to the west.

Avatar 2 will be extremely lucky to even cross a billion and if it does it magically make it over the line, it will have been carried by Disney's extreme marketing and astroturfing.

>Hulk
meh first movie, MVP in Avengers, sequel sounds like never
>Thor
lol
>Robert Downy Jr. Iron Man
Popular from the start until now, has a sequel hook with his identity being exposed
>Captain America
>boring character but brings in gays and girls to the theaters

Seems familiar

This. 3D movies have been a dreadful disappointment, both the the Theater and Television industry. Unless they can salesman up some similar compelling reason to see it, Avatar 2 won't touch the original.

maybe a collection of well known villains instead of just one big baddie. who else is there anyway
>Dr Doom
>Namor (do they have the rights?)
>Magneto (they bought the rights right?)
>Galactus

but there's always the risk of the Spiderman 3 syndrome with too many villains muddling it up

DC vs Marvel film.

Good luck with that, Who Framed Roger Rabbit felt like a fucking miracle that it happened the way it did, it'd be nearly impossible for something like that to happen nowadays.

One really done western, or a movie about the 90s or some shit. That's all it takes.

George Lucas comes back to Star Wars and makes a new trilogy that retcons out the Disney sequels.

You know they're going to re-release Avatar in theaters again. This whole shit with dethroning them already made people interested again and with Spielberg developing his underwater mocap shit and trying out new gimmicks it's going to get people more into the second one.

Plus the Endgame dethroning Avatar shit also made people become more aware and interested in the the movie to the point some of them are watching again or for the first time. All of this is a ruse by the Mouse to get more money, both Endgame and Avatar are owned by them.

>MVP in Infinity War,
he did nothing.

>it's not even out yet
