I didn't elaborate on what I wanted to elaborate, because user pointed out evidence that it might've been planned: they did give her a sympathetic side where she lost her parents and they've always been saying "enemies can become friends". HOWEVER, that sympathetic side was not played at all in the early parts of the stories and they NEEDED to build her up as an enemy first. Meaning early on you aren't supposed to find her cute like Yea Forums did, you are supposed to despise her and then gradually find out about her good points and be like "oh shit, maybe we can be friends", whereas anons found the open hostility and social awkwardness cute without devs intentionally playing up the bad parents card.
