Not him but my headcanon about Saitama is that he is a monster. In OPM, people who autistically devote themselves to a single concept become a monster that embodies the concept. Saitama didn’t get that strong from working out, it’s that he was so autistic about it that he kept going even as he was coughing up blood. Now he embodies the unbeatable protagonist he strives to emulate.
tl;dr his power is that he wins and Superman isn’t topping that unless we get into thought robot and similar shit
